Morning ladies just popped to M&S then to Aldi just a few things needed then post my nieces Birthday card off , Thought my annual Diabetic eye and feet checkup was this morning but looked at calendar when I got up and it's not till tomorrow , just as well I looked or I would have waited a long time 😊. Not much else on today Brians leg playing up he's still in pain from shingles went to see our GP yesterday and basically it's a waiting game said it could take up to a year for pain to go , so he needs to rest it for rest of day . I did want to look at new carpets but they can wait . Have a good day ladies Gem you will have the TV remote to yourself tonight 😊

Enjoying the morning sunshine out on the patio drinking coffee but in my mind I am buying paint for the spare room and even applying it on the walls so I am sort of working

I have been working all day, I did try to work outside in the sunshine but it was so hot and uncomfortable and also I am airing he children's duvets and drying their covers and spent half an hour chasing he flipping things around the garden as, although it is very hot, it is gusty. I am really busy at the moment and husband gets a text asking what time we are picking the children up tomorrow! Err grandad is having the children, I have a meeting in town that I have to go to AND we need to get the children's school shoes, they know husband is not allowed to drive. I am a bit cross. They want us to have the kids so they can save money (a lot of money) and yet expect me to break my work pattern to collect them. Then when we call back it goes straight to voicemail.

I am so pleased I got up early and got my chores out the way, including walking the dog. It is really hot here, with just a light breeze. Did some needlework today, which I always find relaxing. Work tomorrow and then off for another week. 8 more shifts to go.

Really hot ere today. I went for a walk but had to come home early as it was so hot and my foot is still feeling sore.
Paint is ordered. It's for the spare room, I don't know how DS managed it but when he was staying with us he managed to mark the wall so I am having to paint 3 flipping walls. They are cream in colour with the main wall being a soft truffle sort of colour., that wall is fine so I have chosen antique cream for the other walls . The ceiling also needs doing so I am going to use the white paint that goes on pink and dries white. I takes it far easier to see the bits I may miss !

Enjoy your lunch Plant. Is it indoor or outdoor bowling? My auntie belonged to a bowls club for many years. Only yesterday when chatting did I realise it was indoor, I had always pictured her playing outdoors!

What a hot day! !
Once OH left for her golf trip I walked into the village to do a couple of things.I was glad it wasn't further, it was too hot for walking!
I came home and spent the rest of the afternoon in the garden with a Pimms and my Kindle

Been very warm here today.
Probably won't be on here early in the morning, eldest son is doing a car boot sale,but he's got too much stuff for one car, so we are taking our car,it's already loaded up,
to help him sell some stuff.
Then it will be home to get showered,go for something to eat, then I have my mammogram appointment for 3.15.

Morning ladies ,off to have my eyes and feet checkup at Diabetic clinic at 9 , SIL back at work today so have Josh and dog . It a beautiful sunny day , Gem I love Les Mis but like Plant the music stays with me for days I find myself singing the songs all the time 😊
