Good morning all! Nice wave there Mimi
Blue skies and sunshine, although I'm not sure how warm it is out there.
This morning OH and I are going to see Dads Army at a local cinema. It is a Senior Showing, costing only £3.25 each!
We need to do some shopping afterwards. I am eating out with 2 friends tonight, so no cooking.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning everyone! It's a beautiful day here with the promise of it getting quite warm later.
All my plans for yesterday went out of the window when DS1 and GS1 phoned to say could they make a flying visit. Well, no contest between that and ironing etc or even gardening. It was great to see them and it gave DIL the chance to get GS2 packed and ready for his school trip this week - they're going to the Isle of Wight, so have the added excitement of the ferry trip. He's growing up fast.
GDs for me today and tomorrow, but I'll try and catch up on here while (if!) GD2 has a nap this afternoon. I need an extra day in the week at the moment!

Nan2 I didn't know 5:53a.m existed. Just spent an hour & half...first Asda food shop delivery online & the bloomin' site had a technical fault so I lost my order. Rang them up & they apologised giving me a £5 Evoucher. Ironing for me this afternoon. Can it get any worse?"Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Qwerty - I know that feeling! GDs have been very good today, but GS2 didn't settle very well for a nap - I think she was overtired after playgroup. But they both managed a good half hour on the trampoline when GD1 got home from school. Her class had paid a visit to the local C of E church today and she was full of it. Apparently she told the vicar that her mummy had been christened there. Then she said she'd asked the vicar a question - how old was he! Apparently the answer was 59. I've photographed lots of weddings at that church and he's very jolly and approachable so I'm sure he had a little chuckle to himself!
GS2 has gone off on his week long trip to the Isle of Wight in great excitement. I hope the weather stays nice for them - it's a sort of outward bound type trip so lots of outdoor activities.

Good morning all.
Sunny here. OH golfing all day, with a meal afterwards. I have lots to do, but no rush to do any of it
I may contact DD1 to see if she and GS1 are free to meet up. They were on holiday last week so I didn't see them. More often than not I have GS for the day on Tuesdays. As we are having him overnight at the weekend, DD probably didn't like to ask - he can be exhausting!
I hope your GS enjoys his trip Daisy!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
