If it rains tomorrow, our nephew is coming to decorate the hall, stairs and landing.Tomorrow he should be doing an outside painting job,but can't do it in the rain.
Otherwise it will be Saturday when he comes.
Hope it does rain then our decorating will be done and dusted. Hubby just got everything taken down anyway.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Well I have had a lovely day there is a water park abt 14 miles from us so packed the twins up along with LARGE pushchair, and 3 bags of stuff from nappy changing, feeding, toys and toiletries but it was worth it they have a man made beach and the kids could paddle.Pedaloes and rowing boats were available um not likely . Had a nice lunch , tree hugged as kids do, tripped up a couple of times as kids do , a round on the swings and a sleep home result.
No point in cleaning with babies or are they babies now but life didn't seem too hard when out for the day with Twinnies was good to get out in the sun 🌞

Ironing sadly does have to be done, but I do the minimum!
Qwerty, that sounds a lovely day. Lucky twins to have grandparents who take them to such nice places!
You are starting to reap the benefits of two babies now, company for each other when you go put Having a GS who won't play alone, I sometimes wish he was a twin!
DD1 had to stay in this afternoon for a workman, so I went over to them. Called into the designer outlet on the way to buy some sandals, and got my hair colour, on permanent Buy One Get One Half Price offer at the Holland and Barratt there. DD2 called in to her sister's for a cuppa while GD was at drama after school. Baby GS was with her, but he stayed asleep, so none of us got a cuddle!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Gem as you know we have an only child my DDs and I agree she is 5 and won't play on her own and it is exhausting beautiful as she is .
This is the longest we have travelled with the twins but it felt like an adventure they were perfect children enjoying trees, running in the grass, feeding the ducks and ducklings and feeling the sand through their toes 😌Last edited by Qwerty; 18-05-2016, 01:56 PM.

GDs 1 and 2 are now just starting to play together, although GD1 sets her sights a bit too high with complicated games that GD2 can't yet manage, but yesterday I enjoyed a cuppa while I watched them play on the trampoline together, copying each other's 'silly' jumps."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. Good morning everyone.
A child who won't play alone is exhausting isn't it Qwerty?! I played a lot with GD, but she has always been able to play alone too. GS1 expects constant interactive play from the adult looking after him! !
GD from school today, then DD and baby will come to collect her. DD finds it amusing that both GDs grandmothers claim their 'right' to collect her, her on Mondays, me on Wednesdays, even though DD is on maternity leave and doesn't need us to!!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
