We haven't power washed the patio as it keeps trying to rain, we step outside, its rains, we come in doors , it stops . Agghhhh .
We might get round to doing it tomorrow , that is after we have taken our cat to the vets to check she hasn't lost any more weight.

When I power washed our patio on Saturday it got its own back on me and I had black gunk all over me. Today is a bit rainy but warmish, what happened to summer. Went to Upton park for dog walkies, came home and changed and decide to pop into town. Went in Next and couldn't resist buying 5 lovely tops and of course hubby said " what more clothes" . Men they really don't understand.

It's funny how the weather changes for us. I see Nan2 lives in Sth Yorks & had not too good weather over the weekend. We live in the same county.We took GC to Conisbrough Castle on Saturday & it was a scorcher. Brilliant day. Yesterday I think was even hotter. Guess whose resting today?😂

It was lovely yesterday Nana, but Saturday was poor.

been lovely again today, went into town just a dress and cardigan on it was so warm bought some new PJ bottoms they were badly needed I can tell you .
In Sunderland town centre they are doing a lot of regeneration and one part has a big glass wheel with a ship propeller etched into it it's a tribute to all who worked as ship builders during the second world war lots of pictures of the past workers and my Mam & Dad,s pictures are included I got quite emotional when I saw them , Etched there for eternity ☺

I had a good w/e had babies Saturday eve whilst DS went to a 40th they went to bed at 7.30 and woke at 7.30 RESULT !!!!

Son in law has bought an outdoor pizza oven so we were all round there for tea worked a treat
Had twins today and tomorrow tiring when it's so warm 🌞

Qwerty - that looks great! Is that a wooden draining board or a board that fits over the sink? It looks very smart and expensive.

I like light coloured work surfaces - one of my DIL's has got black worktops and I keep losing my phone on them!

Daisy it can be used as a chopping board but it is a cover for the sink and I don't want to scratch it, you just have to be careful you don't leave the odd dripping tap when going to bed or we could be flooded by morning 😱

Dunelm Gem they do biscuit jar, milk jug ,too posh for me all sorts of canisters in same design quite reasonable too

It has been unfeasibly hot for May the past few days, lots of silly people around with sunburn. We don't want the cold temperatures back though! !
DD and baby are coming over today, and I have to work late afternoon.

Weather looked a bit iffy earlier and I really wanted to cut the grass. Checked the forecast and it said rain for us at 10'oclock. Started cutting the grass at 9.30, just started spotting when I only had a couple of yards left to do, but I did manage to finish it.
Definitely don't want the cold weather back Gemini.

It's another lovely day three lines of washing already dry and bedding drying nicely now cleaned insides of windows but can't do the patio doors the sun is too hot and bouncing off the glass . Having 5 minutes with a chocotino first time I have tried them they very sweet chocolate drink only bought them for the boys they like them on cold days with whipped cream and marshmallows , not sure I will be having another it's a big sugar rush
