Afternoon ladies,a run of the mill day for me.Same old, same old except no more ballet run yippee. Menna has been selected with a group of other children to rehearse with the BSO on Wednesdays for this term only and she was very keen to do it as she plays violin. Ballet moved to Saturdays,so now I will only have the tiddler to take home and mind until Daddy comes home. Great day for my eldest DD she sold her house and their offer has been accepted on their new home, fingers crossed it will all go well. DD''s buyers are currently renting and the owners of the new house are moving out of the area,so no chains.
What a day! Sunshine, hail and snow!!!! Luckily we were always in the car or a shop for the worst of it.
Qwerty, no wall! Window fills one wall, bed and bedside tables another, fitted floor to ceiling cupboards one and a half walls, just the wall space above my dressing table, which even if we used we would be looking sharp right! We bought one from John Lewis, but came home and ordered it online, as there is a £40 off offer ending today. We also bought some digital kitchen scales. With my eyesight and the old type, I'm sure my measurements weren't very accurate!
We had lunch at John Lewis café too, and bought some tomato plants from the garden centre on the way home. OH left it too late this year to sow seeds.
Good news about DDs house Libra.

Libra, good news about the house, hope all goes smoothly for them.
Well done for the £40 saving for the tv Gemini.
Raining again now, don't know if more snow is expected.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
Storm today decided it was sit on Nana knee and watch out of sitting room window, every time I sat down he jumped on me honestly he's a big lump now but couldn't help but laugh even if he was squashing me , then went out in the hailstones and came in soaking wet and jumped on the sofa the naughty dog , he's worse than a house full of children some days
LG - that's great news about your DD's house move. I hope it all goes smoothly. Well done to GD for earning the chance to play with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
Gem - I hope you get the tv problems sorted out. Would the kitchen be a better place than the bedroom for the new set?
Oma - I know that feeling - the squashed one! - Eva thinks she's a lapdog, too. Her training went quite well today and she really enjoyed the treats - about ½ lb of dried liver, even though it meant we needed the living room window open this evening.
We've been relatively lucky with the weather today - mostly sunny and just odd light showers, but very cold.

I had tea at John Lewis, not the same one of course. They were announcing offers, price matching other stores. I bought a new deep frying pan, an ice tray and a pretty mug.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
Morning Nanto very frosty when I got up at 5 but sun peeking out so with luck it will warm up . Off to weekly Hospital visit this morning then maybe a little shopping . Have a good day ladies
Good morning. We had a sharp frost overnight and it's really chilly. Hopefully the sun will improve things before I need to go out anywhere! Roll on summer.
Oma - I hope the weekly hospital visit goes well, and Brian is feeling a bit better. xx

Good morning. It's sunny again, but that means nothing. We could have snow by lunchtime! We left our friends at 11.45 last night, and had to defrost our windscreen before we could drive off.
Popping into town to pick up some theatre tickets this morning, then the usual Thursday routine with my mum.
Daisy, our kitchen isn't one you sit in, no room. Our dining room is only separated from the living room by an archway, so sound carries from room to room so that won't work either.

I bought some wifi headphones from lidl and sometimes watch tv on my iPad when the motor racing or football or rugby or cricket is on. The actual sporty bit isn't so bad it is the one hour before and after full of useless chatter that is really annoying!
Hope your son is coping, Clover? So hard to watch when they suffer. The wife of my friend's son has just decided that she doesn't want to be married any more. 24 years and three children later. I guess she must have been unhappy for a while and he hasn't been aware but poor man is totally shell shocked and so is my friend.
I went to the service where they took my Aunty into Church this evening. It's like touching a raw nerve. Looking forward to when it's all over tomorrow. It's good to come on here as it keeps me on a level. Normality as it were.
