Ladies - thank you all for asking. I felt much better this morning, which was good seeing as it's my longest Grandma day. By the time GD2 went down for her nap I was ready for one as well! Still, not bad considering. And as LG says, it was really foul weather - gales, torrential rain and cold with it! I had to smile at DS2's dog. He didn't want to go out in the garden for essential pit stops, but kept pestering for me to take him for a walk!

I don't know about anybody else, but I'm really fed up with this weather. Winter seems endless and I've had no real enthusiasm for the garden, the allotment or even the greenhouse.

Clover - what it is about beans on toast - I love them!

Beans on toast are lovely, perhaps GS and I will have that for lunch tomorrow

I am fed up with the weather Daisy. Beautiful blossom and bright daffodils are spoiled by cold, wet and windy weather!!

Nanto - Good morning. I hope your headache gets better. I think I also slept awkwardly - my neck and shoulder are aching this morning. I'm hping a long hot shower will sort it out.

I havent' made any firm plans yet for today. I'm waiting to see what the weather does. After I've walked Eva I might do a bit of gardening to catch up with some of the winter jobs I never got round to earlier. But it it's raining it might be a good excuse to do nothing.

Oma - Poor Brian, but it's being a stubborn old beggar that keeps hims going. Back pain's horrible at the best of times - he must be feeling really poorly. We all send our love - take it easy, and no speeding Oma. xxx

Hoping Brian is in less pain soon.
Once I started pottering about,my headache went. Got a cottage pie from the freezer in the oven, something easy after being at mam and dads all morning.
Waiting for Asda delivery, due between 12 and 2. Neighbour across the road just had Asda delivery, thought mine would have been on the same van.
Hubby said for my orders they need a van just for me. Must admit, I do tend to really stock up when I order online.

Afternoon all. Sending healing vibes to Brian. As Daisy says, being a stubborn old bugger is probably what's kept his determination going. Hope that you're a better wheelchair driver than I was with Mum Oma. Poor old dear must have had a white knuckle ride whenever I 'drove' her chair.

Oma, hope Brian feels better soon and that it went well for him today.

Hope everyone else feeling under the weather feels better too. Had a couple of days in as the weather was so awful yesterday and this morning had someone round to look at the bathroom and give us a quote for redoing everything. Someone else is coming tomorrow so we can compare quotes and see what they suggest. D H has always done any jobs around the house, has fitted kitchens, bathroom suites etc. But I've said no this time, we'll get someone in.

Hope the westher improves so we can get out into the garden

                        Hello!
A late visit to the chat box for me.
I slept badly, so then slept until 8.30. I had to get up and go for GS today as he had a Drs appointment and DD wanted to get on with stuff at home. As I could only have him part of the day anyway, me picking him up after the Drs gave her over an hour extra. I brought GS home, looked after him here and gave him lunch. DD picked him up at 2, then straight into the car for me, to take my mum shopping and spend the afternoon with her.

Poor Brian Oma, I hope his back feels easier soon.

Well his lordship has been admitted to Hospital again he was in so much pain when we went to have his Hickman line cleaned that they sent for the Dr Who arranged a urgent MRI scan , then admitted him to the ward , They think it's a nipped nerve but had to rule out burst disc or a tumour , as far as we know it's neither but won't get full results till tomorrow , They want to get the pain under control so his Chemo can go ahead on Tuesday
