Qwerty - I should think you now need another holiday to get over the last 4 days! What a whirlwind. I know you wouldn't have it any other way, but you must be totally exhausted. I had both GS sleeping over for the week last week plus both GDs on Monday and Tuesday, and it wasn't as hectic as that! They do entertain each other quite a bit!

I've had yesterday and today 'off' and the girls are back from a short holiday tonight so only one day this week.

Well for a change we're having a day with no rain.(so far!) We had a lovely walk in warm sunshine down to the beach. The tide was way out so loads of lovely sand to walk on and from the water's edge we could get a panoramic view of the wonderful cliffs and hills behind.I also collected a bag of seaweed to use as fertiliser in the garden.

My GD is in Greece, so I only have GS to look after. I won't even have him next week, as I am going away for a few days. I am having an easy time (but then I do have a mother.... )

Well as it happens I have 2 good friends one who was 40 last month and one who is 50 September so we are going to Harrogate to stay in a lovely hotel going for a swim and sauna first then we have booked a facial each there are 4 of us going booked an evening meal and maybe the odd drink before bed, in the morning after breakfast a little shopping and lunch at Betty's then home on the train lol my life isn't so bad at all is I,t I must remember that!

How this year is rattling on, what happened to summer,did I blink and miss it.
I've still got strawberries trying to ripen in the garden, an almost full bottle of factor 50 sun tan lotion sitting in the bathroom an unworn new summer dress in the wardrobe and a much looked forward picnic never have taken place !

Work for me this afternoon, and time to be a Domestic Goddess this morning. Well. that would be going too far LOL.
OH is in a golf completion as usual on Tuesday. I have done some washing, cleaned the bathroom, and put a granary loaf on to bake. I must dust, hoover, steam the kitchen floor, and other essential but boring tasks. I may even do some ironing. May..... or may not

lovely morning hear but big black clouds rolling in , had to wait in for boiler to be serviced but wasnt going anywhere anyway so did usual jobs ironed and searched all over for a sock. Brian took them off last night but somehow during the night one has vanished still not found it god knows where it is the sock monster been on the rampage again
