I'm going over to younger DS and DILs house, they exchanged contracts yesterday on their new house as you know she's a bit 'delicate' at the moment so I am going to start the packing... they move next Tuesday and DS is in Poland from Friday to Monday - yes good timing Son! I had suggested they let the removals people to do the packing but DIL didn't want to do that. She's not the one doing the work though!

Busy afternoon for us ,I have the occupational therapist at 1 see what i can and cant do with my fingers well since i had the injection there isnt much i cant manage now to be honest , then Brian has his ears flushed out at 2.30 then his last Chemo for this month at 4 pm , that means a trip to hospital then home to Drs then back to hospital

Oh what fun Oma, you and B know how to live!! I hope he soon feels better after the latest chemo.

OH and I had a nice day yesterday with T and our friends and their 7 year old GD. The girls only see each other 2 or 3 times a year, but are great friends

I have to take my mum for ear syringing today. OH took her last week (when I was gallivanting with my GRU buddies ) But the other ear needs doing, and there was stubborn wax close to the ear drum of the ear that was done, which they couldn't get last time. I hope it can be sorted today. Its making her very miserable and she doesn't keep her misery to herself!

I am really at a loss here , no idea what needs doing , I keep starting to do a task and abandoning it , Jim was really off his feet Tues and I rang the Dr , she took one look at him and asked me if I would mind if she admitted him to our local hospital , I could have kissed her . I had hopedfor a carer or something , but he is in to be assessed and medication reviewed . This morning when I rang the nurse said he is confused today , he was a bit confused lately , but had been ok since admission

Oma and aggie,hope all goes well for everyone with all the medics. Aggie, lets hope they can help Jim, even if it is only in a small way.

Thinking of you and Jim, Aggie. Make the most of this time when you don't have to look out for him, you need the rest. Sometimes older people don't get enough fluid in hospital. He could be a little dehydrated maybe, that makes people more confused. I hope his medication review helps.

Feeling excited.....just booked 10 days in Portugal at the beginning of September. First holiday we've had for ages ( don't count the visits to DS as holiday!!!) so really looking forward to it!
