    Its ridiculous isn’t it .
I have had a painful leg since November , Im getting no where , I have an appointment for Drs on 7 th June after much arguing with the receptionist saying there was none available , despite the Dr saying I needed a face to face AGAIN after my X ray came back normal, Anti inflammatorys not working or stretching exercises, so not sure what he’s going to suggest next
Whatever it will be you can bet it’s another long wait.

You must be in so much pain and taking Painkillers long term isn’t good for your stomach either.
I hope you get to see someone soon , you can’t live like that xx

News on niece is she was woken for a short time this morning to try her lung capacity , she had physio and managed to communicate with her nurse by writing a note , but they then put her back to sleep as she was exhausted .
    So will try again tomorrow.

Nan2 this is a different pain to the sciatica, I can at least walk with this one, though it's more of a hobble at the moment!! I've got a physio appointment for next Tuesday afternoon, so not too long to wait, but I'm tempted to ring the surgery and ask for stronger painkillers. I already take aspirin as a blood thinner and can't take anything like Ibubrofen. Oma, I long for the days when you could be seen by a doctor, if not the same day, then in a couple of days. Nowadays, we just seem to get passed from pillar to post and end up repeating the same things over and over. I hope you get your problems sorted out too. Good news about your niece, hope she continues to make good progress. x
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

            Good evening.

Oma, your niece is going in the right direction.

Plant I hope you feel better in the morning.

WG when I had pain like that sports/deep tissue massage was the cure for me.

We have had a thunderstorm this evening and it got dark very early.
GS1 and I had a good day. We talked about his Guinea pig a bit and where she was to be buried. He is interested in painting her a stone but didn't want to do it here .
He was mostly cheerful upbeat and chatty, and decided he would like to go to the cinema this afternoon.
We made a rhubarb crumble this morning and saw IF at the cinema after lunch. We both enjoyed it

Good morning, very dull and wet here at the moment.

Gem, you would be pleased that all went well with GS1, you would enjoy being together.

The builders are busy at my neighbours and the apartments under them, there is a leak in the garage and ALL the pipes etc above have to be replaced, I know they wanted to do all the flats a few years ago, that turned out to be expensive, then they did one strip if there was an empty flat in the strip, that didn't work out so now they do it when there is a leak. It is a lot of work, takes more than a week, a few days not being able to cook, use the toilet, shower etc. I went next door and told them they have my key so can come here when they need to use the toilet etc, that is only after tomorrow. I am hoping that there is never a leakage under me, as, my kitchen is built in, I saw what the men were doing next door, part of my kitchen would have to be removed etc, so, hoping it isn't necessary.

Then, I sat down with coffee after helping the neighbour move something, my coffee fell! What a mess, I had to move the chair and settee, which is almost impossible for me to move, I hope I managed to clean it all, I will see how today progresses!

WG, I hope the physio can help with the pain, have you tried messaging it yourself with a tennis ball? You can see how to do it on YouTube, it does help.

Oma, I hope your niece keeps improving, I was talking to the young friend yesterday, she lives in the new apartments down from me, she had cancer of the bowel, had a very bad time last year, she has to go for a scan etc on Monday, she is so nervous, which in understandable. I do hope all is clear for her.

Good morning Lizzie and all who follow.
Nice here this morning, but how many times have I said that, then the weather changes.

Hubby gone to another car boot with his brother. Can tell brother is off work this week.

Lizzie, hope you never have a leak that disrupts your kitchen.

Dinner today is pork steaks with mash, veg and gravy.

I'll check in later to see if there is any news about Oma's niece.

Good morning Lizzie and Nan2, and everyone else

Aquafit this morning, GS2 here later, instead of Friday. OH was to be playing golf in Catterick but the course is closed due to all the rain. I will let DD2 know in case she wants to bring GS before I am back.

                  Plant how are you today?

Hoping for positive news on Oma's niece.

                    Morning ladies
News late last night was she was still asleep but they going to try again today to wake her fully see how that goes.

                    Gem
Bet S is sick of all this rain stopping play.
GS sounds a bit more upbeat than he was,
I wouldn’t mind watching IF it sounds good.

How are you feeling are you still rough? Did you do a COVID test ?
Hope your over the worst xxx

Dinner sounds nice , Is OHs brother just off work for the week? I suppose the car boots keep them out of mischief 😁

                    Lizzie
Nightmare if they have to take your kitchen out , fingers crossed no leaks for you then.
That poor girl must be so nervous , it’s the waiting for results that we hated after scans etc.

Up early so two loads of washing done and dried , Housework done and been to Aldi,

Both our dressing gowns are in the wash now and after lunch I will iron.
Nothing exciting happening for us today apart from a new sound bar being delivered .

weather wise it’s ok nothing to write home about , not dull but not sunny either hopefully it will stay like this ,
I want to spray my plants with bug spray ,
I was going to put slug pellets down but I’m always worried about the dog coming into contact with them so it’s a case of getting rid when I see them.

Oma, try making garlic water to spray the plants with, that keeps the slugs away.

Oma, I hope you hear some better news of your Niece. Have you tried coarse grit in your pots to deter the slugs?

Only just managed to prise myself out of bed, I wanted a cuppa and no one to bring me one. My friend’s husband’s funeral today and I am not able to go. I phoned her yesterday to apologise and she just wanted to talk. GD1 had to make a late evening visit to out of hours doctor’s clinic yesterday evening. H has had a very sore bottom for some time and has made two visits to their doctor. The cream prescribed was not making it better, every morning after a night with a nappy on was not helping. GD was getting very upset about it. H has now been prescribed an anti fungal cream, hope that clears it up. GD herself has
not been well for some time, she has had a very snotty cold and nothing seems to clear it, she is exhausted, I wonder if she has sinusitis.

Oma, I wonder if a sound bar would help me. Sil has just installed Sky Streaming (B would know what that is) I am just getting used to it. I wanted a new Sky box and this is what they suggested we had instead.

Gemini, have a nice day with GS2, hope the sun shines so you can be outside.

You can’t go to a funeral feeling unwell you need to think of yourself first.
Poor H she must be sore and overnight she will be getting hot and irritated in her nappy won’t she ,
Your GD sounds run down doesn’t she , maybe she needs to see a Dr also.

                          Lizzie
Good idea problem is I want to be sick at the smell of Garlic I won’t have it in the house , so won’t like it on my garden either 😳x

Good news Hospital rang my SIL , They have taken Karen off the Ventilator and she’s doing well so far, breathing on her own .
They haven’t woken her yet , they will try that later and see if she copes when awake.
If not they can put her under again but it’s looking positive 😁

Plant, not nice feeling unwell and no one to bring you a cuppa. A soundbar may be a good idea for you.

One of my aqua friends was at the class so we stayed for a coffee.
GS2 is here. Sunshine and showers so we are staying in.

Sorry to hear about H not healing from the nappy rash. Hoping GD feels better soon.

Gem, hope you have a good time with GS2.

I had an amazon order arrive today.
I bought some more non slip coat hangers and some press and seal.
Just made another order for an oil dispenser with a brush.
Already got a spray bottle, but i think it will be better with the brush.

I'm a bit late joining in the Chat today. We got back from Ds1 and DIL1's jut after lunch, and I have been racing round trying to catch up on all sorts of jobs I'd got behind on. I've just hung out a line full of washing and there's a big, black cloud overhead. Typical!

Lizzie, you poor friend must be so worried.

Plant, you do sound poorly, but I bet your friend was glad to have a chat with you even though you can't go to her husband's funeral. I hope H is ok soon. Your GD1 sounds run down and exhausted. They've had such a lot going on with the sale of the flat etc, and small children never give you any respite.

Gem, I'm glad to hear your GS was able to talk about his guinea pig a bit. I'm sure that helps.

Nanto, can you imagine how many car boot sales your OH would go to if BIL retired?

Oma, let's hope they were able to take your niece off the ventilator today. Everything crossed for her. xx
