Oma, so sorry. You posted while I was typing. Your poor niece. She's coped with so much already. Hang on to the fact that she's young and she will fight. I'm glad her son isn't on his own - it's better he should be with his family. Sending you prayers, positive thoughts and a hug. xx

        Thank you ladies , I think it’s a waiting game ,
        Daisy
My leg is much the same I’m just having to put up with it , Im doing leg stretches every day to try and help but don’t feel a difference , oh well I will put my big girls pants on and cope 😁

GS was full and happy when he left for work, he left a hour earlier than he started because the metro road with the sink hole is still a problem , eventually took him 1 hour 45 minutes to make a twenty minute drive home the other night.

I bet the patio looks nicer once it’s all re sanded in a better shade , slow and steady gets a good job done 😁

I don’t blame your DD going out sometimes it can just get too busy and noisy as much as you love your family and friends doesn’t it.
I like chicken casserole it’s a nice one pot meal isn’t it .
We always make a couple to take to MILs , she likes them and lamb hot pots another easy meal for the freezer ,

Good afternoon rather than good morning today!

Did you buy anything at the garden centre Nan2?

Oma, GS is having his op private, via his dad's health insurance. I think they are a bit more cautious with kids and anesthetic. They didn't give them any goal to aim for though so atm are in the dark.
          Thinking of your niece xxx

Always busy at your DD's Plant!

Daisy, DD was waiting until after today to tell GS about the guinea pig as she knew he would use it as a reason not to go to his dad's today. She's thinking he may want to paint stone for her grave here on Tuesday as he knows I have for each cat.

I had a nice morning The DDs treated me to an Escape Room experience and lunch out as a late Mother's Day treat. With all that is going on DD1 didn't feel up to the escape rooms but met us for lunch afterwards. It was a theatre themed one (we were locked in a dressing room with an hour to get out until curtain up! ) We needed clues from time to time but we worked well together and we only needed few extra minutes extension as we were on the last clue when the official time was up. I enjoyed it very much
We could choose one of many boards to hold up for the photo. We chose this, in an ironic fashion

            Glad you enjoyed it Gem.

The weather started off lovely this morning. We sat outside at the farm shop with a coffee.
Only bought sirloin steak there,as freezers are full.
Hubby requested it for dinner tomorrow.
About 1 ish,it clouded over and turned cool.
We ate ate the garden centre. Bought some lupins,we haven't had any for years.

              Drizzling a bit this morning.

Hubby and his brother planned on going to a car boot sale, I've got a feeling it might be cancelled.

              No other plans for today.

Dinner is the steak we got at the farm shop yesterday, chips, onion rings and peas.

                Morning everyone

                Nanto
We haven’t had lupine in the garden for many years ,
I don’t know why because I like them , maybe because I only have one very small plant boarder no room really.

                Gem
You lucky thing it sounds like a great time , poor GS it’s going to be hard for him , maybe painting a stone will help him accept it.

The phone never stopped last night ,
My Niece has ARDS its life threatening and they not sure how she has got it as it’s usually people who have had sepsis previously,
All they can think of is she’s had an underlying chest infection and the anaesthesia has triggered this .
She will most likely be on a ventilator for a week or so then they will gradually reduce the oxygen level to see how she does.
They have said if or when she pulls through it will be a long time before she gets back to work if ever as she may be left with permanency lung damage.

One Consultant that examined her yesterday said if he had seen her first she wouldn’t have had surgery at all .

We are going in to see her about 2ish , as on my side we are such a large family we are doing it in shifts ,
they only allow two at a time but no limit on how many different people can go throughout the day.

Oma, your poor niece, what a lot she has been through.

Nanto, I like Lupins, don’t have any atm. Enjoy your steak dinner.

My DD and Sil had a terrace full last evening, their terrace always gets the evening sun. I went through for a drink and GS2 and his wife arrived, every bed is now occupied. A huge box of Chinese food arrived, I came back to the quiet of my place. After the lovely sunny day yesterday, we have rain this morning. I am not a football fan but I did watch the game yesterday.

                    Good morning everyone.

Oh Oma your poor niece, she has been through so much.
Sending all my best positive wishes for her recovery.

This morning friends are coming round for us to sign something. I know it sounds vague but they arranged it with OH! They will no doubt stay for coffee.
Not sure what our plans are the rest of the day. DD3 was talking about coming round either today or tomorrow.
                    It's damp and dull outside.

Daisy, I hope all is well at your DS's .

Nan2, it wouldnt be good weather for a car boot sale here either.

Our friends stayed for a good chat this morning. As they were leaving DD and SIL3 and baby arrived, with freshly baked scones
They have just gone. We are now heading to a garden centre for green bean plants

We have been in to see my niece , very upsetting she’s very poorly.
They tried waking her this morning she opened her eyes and asked what time it was,
She was ok for about 5 minutes then all her sats crashed again so they had to put her back into a deep sleep.
                            They will try again tomorrow.

The bottom of her lungs are not inflating .
We had a good chat with her nurses they are all lovely and answered all our questions .
My other niece and her Mam were there, so they went for a cup of tea and something to eat while we stayed with Karen.

My great niece and her husband were going in for 4 so they will get another break then.
