    Good morning everyone.

Nan2, nice to spread out your birthday seeing some family today.

Daisy, I don't know what I am doing yet! We had plans this afternoon which are cancelled so we are free.
We caught up with a few jobs yesterday. We may do more or may go out, and TV snooker will be calling to OH!
Our weather sounds just like yours. We have towels in the wash to go out on the line as it's perfect drying conditions.
DD3 babysat GS1 last night and called in to see us on the way.

      Morning everyone
We all seem to have the same weather ,
Ive just been in the garden to pick up some bird feathers that get stuck on the grass when it’s wet and it’s quite mild out.

Lovely Tea out with MIL last night ,
she had been to hairdressers to get her hair done on the morning and was in a very good mood.
The food was lovely and for the first time she almost finished the lot ,
On the way home she thanked us for taking her out and all the meals we make ,
It was so nice to be able to enjoy ourselves and not wait for the moans and criticism,
She was very tired by the time we got home you could see her flagging.

Need to pop to Home bargains this morning then GS coming over before he goes back to Uni,
He only has this week then the first year is over , he has all summer off till October apart from the odd exam.

He is going back to Foot Locker full time for the summer save some money up.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday xx

Oma, gosh that is early for your GS to be finished for this year. My OH was a University Lecturer, he didn’t have such long breaks. Well done to him to get back into earning money. Does his GF have such long breaks?
So pleased your Mil enjoyed her meal and gave you thanks for all her meals. Shame she doesn’t say it more often.

Nanto, still enjoying your birthday, why not!

Gemini, enjoy your free day whatever you do.

My GD her OH and H are on their way, we are going to Marlow for lunch (GM’s treat of course)

Yes that is a long break Oma! I remember my DDs having about 4 months off each summer.
How lovely that MIL had a nice day and was appreciative.

I hope you all have a nice lunch Plant.

Towels are drying nicely outside and we have been watching the London Marathon , as I mentioned on another thread. OH now watching snooker

Have spent the weekend making felt! Different method to what I'd done before, but very interesting and enjoyable! Fantastic place for a class and the food was VERY good! Been invited to DD's for dinner late, so I didn't have a big lunch!
              Enjoy your evening ladies x

                Sounds interesting WG.

Earlier today, hubby nipped to the local shop to take a parcel for collecto tomorrow.
While he was out,GD1 and her family came. Tommie, ran straight down the the garden and knocked on the shed door.
I told him grandad would be back in 5 minutes. He didn't want to come in the house,he plonked himself down on the bench and waited for grandad.

I got our dressing gowns washed and dried outside it was so warm.

I washed the plant pots down that had my Lillies in and put them out , then did a bit of tidying round the garden ,
Took the netting off the boarder I had on to stop next doors cats using it as a toilet , got the soil raked over ready for plants to go in , My back was aching but I felt better it was done,

GS coming for his breakfast before he goes back to Leeds tomorrow , He was going back tonight but doesn’t have any lectures till 2pm tomorrow so will travel down after he leaves ours.

Well such a lovely spring day it was!
OH got some gardening jobs done and made the framework for a low table to support the sandpit ( the old coffee table we were using fell to pieces) she's just got to find something to make a top now.
We had a cuppa in the greenhouse this afternoon, which was very warm! The neighbours and their baby dropped in for a while later, which was nice.

                    It's raining now......

Saturday we did a lot in the garden in the warm sunshine .
ai sorted out the strawberry and tomato plants, even gave some spare ones to our neighbour.
I sowed some pepper seeds, aster seeds and lettuce seeds.

Today there was a different change in temperature, much colder but OH and our gardener J removed the moss from the lawn in the back garden and reseeded it.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with the podiatrist, OH has got an appointment at the drs for his covid booster ( conveniently drs surgery and podiatrist are on opposite side of the street) and the OH will go to Specsavers to collect his new specs.

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

I'm going to clean the insides of the kitchen windows while there isn't any sun.

                          Good morning everyone.

                          Pretty birds Nan2.

Mimi, you two know how to have a fun day out!

Rain here too. I'm glad we made the most of the fine day yesterday.

Aqua for me this morning. I am meeting the two ex work friends for lunch at 12 so it won't be worth coming home between.
OH and her friend have called off golf this morning as it's so wet, friend is coming here for coffee instead.

I hope some of you have good weather today!

Good Monday morning, everyone. Cloudy here, but no rain at the moment.

Gosh, what busy bees we all were yesterday. I unwrapped our banana plants from their winter fleeces. They look very bedraggled at the moment, but will pick up. OH spent all day pressure washing our front drive. I thought he was just doing the path, but he just got carried away. Still, it looks much better.

I washed the landing curtains at the week-end so need to iron them and rehang them. We really need new ones - these are old and very faded - but I've no enthusiasm for trying to find something we like.

Apologies for no commenting on yesterday's posts - I have read them all - but I need to get a move on this morning. I'll pop back lter.

The greens will be soaking not the best time to play golf .
I bet next doors baby has grown , how old is she now?
Is S making a lid for the sand pit too , she is a busy bee isn’t she 🥰

                              Nanto
Getting the right light to clean windows is the key isn’t it , too dark and you miss bits too sunny and you can’t see🙄
Hope you get them done with no smears.
My patio doors need doing , for some reason Storm has a drink then sticks his nose on them , lets the waster run down then licks it off ,
I have to be quick and chase him outside 😁

                              Plant
Did you all enjoy lunch out , Grandmas purse is always out like Bs wallet 😁 but you don’t mind really do you , it’s nice to give treats x

We had a lovely lunch in Marlow, a place called Megans, I don’t know if they are countrywide but they do some good food mainly veggie type food which suits GD’s family. We finished up in a wonderful ice cream shop. If ever you are down this way, do visit Marlow on Thames it has lovely shops and of course the Thames. There is a statue of Sir Steve Redgrave in the park, he was born and brought up here. There is also a wonderful playground for H. Not sure what I am doing today, I have some parcels to post (returned items)

Gemini, have a good aqua, not too much backward kicking. It hasn’t been a good year for golf.

Nanto, love the birds. Enjoy your three B’s

Mimi, enjoy getting the garden into shape, seed sowing etc. Do you have a greenhouse to start your seed growing or is it the window cills?
