No his filling fell out , another £70 his other fillings are covered under the new guarantee policy the dentist have
If your filling falls out in the first year it’s covered and will be fixed free of charge,
but sadly this one tooth wasn’t one that was insured typical 🙄

    Plant
H is becoming a little girl now, no longer a baby , like Finn she will be showing that naughty buy nice stage 😁
Finn is repeating everything at the moment so we are all careful not to swear or say anything he might repeat.
Hes also discovered sticking his finger in his nose and kept doing it in the restaurant on Saturday ,
The more Clare tried to stop him the more he did it ,
We said don’t make a issue of it as he will then do it just to be naughty 😁

As much as you love them all it is very tiring, you need your lie ins on a morning xx

Feeling very tired now, we have been to JLewis, had tea there. Bought H a swimming costume, she is going to start swimming lessons when her GM gets back. GD still coughing, it has been a nasty cold. I shall not be sorry when I am off duty, DD home tomorrow. Strange H hasn’t asked where GM and GP are, since they have been away she has started the WHY question.

Oma, love the sticking finger up nose, he is just investigating.

Plant have have been a good GM and GGM, you need a rest!

I hope Eva enjoyed dog training Daisy.

Oma, bitingly cold is exactly how I described the air as I got out of the car this morning!

A mixed weather day today. Wind, some rain , a lot of cloud and some sun. It's lovely and sunny now at almost 7pm! Although I hate the cold and non spring like weather I am at least appreciating the lovely lighter evenings.

I had after aqua class coffee with 2 friends. Came home, showered and changed then OH and I went out for lunch and to return her shorts. She also exchanged 2 tops for a smaller size and we bought a new sofa throw.
She is making omelettes now so we will eat in a few minutes.

Oma, that's what happens, isn't it - the one tooth that wasn't insured is the one to need a new filling! I can imagine how cute Finn is -even with a finger up his nose. It's amazing how they can pick out a 'naughty' word in a long conversation and repeat it exactly, and with the right context and emphasis.

Plant, no wonder you are exhausted. You have been so busy this week, and small children are hard work for their parents, let alone their grandparents and great-grandparents. Please try and take it easy tomorrow and get some rest, especially if you are still feeling breathless. Has your GD been to the doctor's to check she hasn't got a chest infection? It must be very wearing for her.

Gem, is S pleased with her new buys? I find it hard to resist a nice throw. Is yours for the living room? We had omelettes last night!

The sun has been nice here today - out of the wind. Like everywhere else it's been cold, but it did seem a bit warmer when we came out of dog training. It was a busy afternoon with more dogs than usual. We were all in hysterics over one dog's obsession with a particular toy. The toy is quite a small pink vinyl pig, but its 'squeak' sounds more like a quack. The dog in question is a Toller, a gundog bred to work specifically with ducks. He must be having a serious identity problem if he sees real pigs and they don't quack!

            Good morning. It's wet again.

Daisy, I got the bedding dry yesterday.

Yesterday turned into a busy day. We went to hubby's sisters. Her hubby wanted to move his shed, so the menfolk got on with it.
We were there longer than we expected to be.
When we got home I just bunged a pizza in.
Today's dinner is what we were going to have yesterday.

Oma, I laughed at Fins antics.
Typical for that tooth not to be insured.
Plant, hope you have a restful day today.

Shopping coming between 9 and 10.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

                Good Thursday morning.

Nanto, love the graphic, but it obviously works, as we have sunshine - at least for now!

Gem, have a lovely day with baby E.

Plant, I hope you've had a lie in today and are taking it easy. xx

I need to get on with a few things, including updating my laptop, so I'll pop back later.

Daisy, we have sunshine too, hope it lasts

No rest yet, I have an appt for a covid vaccination at 11.30 then meeting GD and H in next village, I have an ear syringing appt there. We will have lunch, she will go home and I will have my ears syringed. DD back about 6pm I think. My poor GD has struggled all the week with a virus but I think she has turned the corner now. DD only back for 4 days then they are off to Normandy with GS2 and his wife. GGD was a lovely little pickle yesterday she has really grown up since she went to pre-school, she was very proud of her painted pasta necklace she made. Spending this week seeing her every day has been a delight but tiring.

Gmini, enjoy your day with baby E (not so much a baby now) I hope it is fine so you can get outside.

Nanto love the graphic, hope your weather improves.

hallo everyone, it is still a very cold wind here as well, the forecast says 17 degrees for Saturday, I hope they are right.

It is DS1's birthday today, 56 years old, or young, it depends how you look at it. I am going to their house tonight for a meal, hamburgers! DIL1 is a really good cook so the. hamburgers will be handmade and delicious.

I was going with GD1 to the market in Delft but it isn't exactly the weather for an enjoyable bike ride, I will do the paintwork in the hall instead.

My shoulder was playing up during the night and this morning, I debated about going to the gym, I did go as the exercises I do there do help.

I have just received a mail from the lady that supervises the office I do coffee for, it is the last day to get the tax forms filled in on Monday then all the helpers are invited to a meal out in a restaurant here in the village, I. have been invited to go with them, I have got to know them all very well over the last year so it should be a good evening.

It doesn't seem 4 years ago that your brother passed away Oma, time does fly!

                        Good afternoon ladies.
Gorgeous funny toddler is asleep so time for lunch and to catch up!

Oma, there were many sad things about Covid. For us it was my mum having a sad and confusing year unvisited in a care home , our friend P being very ill with Covid and us not seeing the children for weeks. The death of your brother was the saddest thing xxx
OH is eating out next Tuesday night as well. I will have salmon then. Tonight I am having baked potato with tuna and a salad.

Plant, little H sounds a joy and adorable but I'm sure it has been tiring!

I hope the sun stayed with you Daisy.

Lizzie, meal at DS's tonight and a meal out next week, how lovely

Just had a message from DD, their flight has been cancelled, they are not sure what they will have to do. Just been updated, they will have to stay the night and get a flight back tomorrow. Very disappointed she wanted to get back.
Had lunch out with H and GD then went to have my ears syringed, not successful, it was hurting me too much. Need to oil them for a bit longer, got a bit of earache now, I had to ask her to stop. Only a young girl I don’t think she was very experienced, not sure if I will go back there. H has found the word WHY!

Oma, pleased you had a reasonably pleasant visit to Mil. What is this weather playing at, hailstones in April!

Gemini, it must be hard for window cleaners, ours must be due. I am sure you enjoyed your day with that gorgeous, funny little GS. He sounds a delight.
