It seems the little glitch is over and we are back.

Plant an easy day is in order for you I think.

Nan2, early is the time to get anything done in this weather.

Our aqua instructor was ill so the replacement one stood in this morning . We had a good class and we all felt quite tired afterwards! All 3 of my aqua friend stayed for coffee. It's almost unheard of for all four of us to be there so that was nice.
My car was looked at quickly so OH came back for me and we went to pick it up on the way home. They re-gassed the aircon and cleaned up a leak OH had noticed. They want me to take it back next week to see if they can locate the leak, so it's booked in next Wednesday morning.

We had lunch in the garden and it was very hot and sunny. It's still hot but has clouded over.

Hallo everyone, I am still here, the hay fever has been really bad, I was Ill a few days from it, luckily it is easier today, there was me thinking I wasn’t having any bother this year😢.

Hay fever is awful , My Son in law gets it really bad always has done , he takes all sorts to get him through work some days.
My niece gets it when grass is cut

Nice to have lunch in the garden make the most of the good weather.

Hair dresser came at 11 didn’t leave till 2.30 😁 she cut Dorothy’s hair then gave mine a cut although I’m having it coloured in two weeks she decided to trim it today.
We always have a good natter and laugh .

Has clouded over here, but still very warm. Going up to Scotland on Thursday where it's looking decidedly cooler than here, so may have to rethink what clothes I'm taking! Looking forward to seeing the family and especially Baby C who is now 7 months old! DB picking me up at the airport so I don't have to worry about getting a hire car.

Had an MRI scan on my hip earlier and I can't get comfortable! I don't think lying still for so long on a hard couch did it any good! Painkillers tonight I think. I shall make a follow up appointment with the consultant tomorrow, probably be next week before I see him.

Hairdresser for me on Wednesday for a cut and colour, can't go visiting with my hair looking a mess! Manicure before that

DD and I went to Marlow a couple of weekends ago, Plant. It's a lovely place to wander around with lots of independent shops to tempt you in!

DS has just informed me that he's coming back on his own as he and GF have broken up! I had high hopes for them, but it was obviously not to be!

We have had our bedroom windows wide open the past few nights Oma. Last night OH said she heard a child crying in the street ! We then realised that it was next doors baby, presumably ready for her night feed. Because their room is next to ours (a semi) and all windows were open we heard her!

Library for me this morning. It is my day to collect GS1 from school, if he goes. It's been hit and miss apparently. According to DD they are phasing him back in gradually (any more gradually and they will have reached the end of term!) I may need to collect him earlier than usual. I await instructions.

Good morning everyone, another sunny day. My car has to go to the local garage for an MOT. Nothing else planned. I live in a bungalow so no chance of opening windows but upstairs bedrooms get warmer. DD and Sil back from their very hot holiday, my DD said she has read lots of books. DD has such a busy life, perhaps the forced rest will have done her good. GD and her partner are off to Glastonbury at the weekend.

Oma, I hope B finds some nice T Shirts and I hope the dentist is kind to you. I like my lady dentist but I don’t look forward to seeing her.

Gemini, I hope the Library is cool. That must have been strange hearing the baby cry. I hope GS makes it to school today, what does he do with himself all day if he doesn’t go to school? Will he have more male teachers when he changes schools?

The upstairs of our house gets very hot Plant, so I see what you mean about bungalows.
GS does do some school work when he's at home, but I suspect there is screen time too.

Well that library must be the hottest place in Yorkshire! I had forgotten how hot it gets in summer. I'm glad to be home, cooling down and eating my lunch.
DD is dropping off GS1 on her way into the office. She worked from home this morning but needs to go in this afternoon. He got as far as school this morning but had a panic attack apparently

Dentist office was boiling hot,
They had the blinds down and a fan going but such a small room the heat was awful for them.
Filling done , mouth starting to feel less numb.

I phoned the pharmacy this morning to see if I could get my prescription quickly as we are away when it would usually be delivered ,
They had it ready by 11 am for me to pick up , very helpful.
I would have left it till Monday but one was my needles Im running low so couldn’t wait for them.
My own fault for leaving it so long to order them.

B got some nice t-shirts but one is huge , it said medium but when he tried it on it was at least XL . I said when he took it out of the bag it looked big, he was swimming in it so that one’s going back.

My friends live in a downstairs apartment in a McCarther stone development, and she was saying they can’t have the windows open during the night for safety reasons there is a pub over the road and you never know what people would do when they are drunk so they don’t take a chance.

Your DD will feel better for the rest.

Oh dear Gem,sorry to hear GS had an apparant panic attack.

Oma, all the shops in town were nice and cool with the air conditioning,it was warm outside though.

I've had emails letting me know all the new bedding i ordered will arrive on Friday.

Been with GD1 and H to M&S this afternoon, lovely and cool in there. I bought her OH some nice T shirts for his birthday next week. GD had to pick up some glasses, yes they have an opticians in M&S. H was very tired after her day at pre-school but cheered up when her mother bought her some pyjamas. DD and Sil expected home tomorrow, not sure what time.

Gemini, I feel very very sorry for your GS1, not sure what the next move should be to get him to go to school. Does he like hugs, give him one from me.

Oma, I must have missed your post about going away, where are you off to?

Nanto, lovely and cool in M&S, most shops have air cond. now. I hope the new bedding arrives okay.
