Party time for cats Oma They are funny around catnip aren't they?

Good to hear there was some improvement Lizzie.

SIL3 tested negative for covid, so some other nasty virus he and baby have had.
I went to the village this afternoon as OH wanted more lamb for the casserole she was making (she didn't buy enough yesterday it seems!) I needed stamps so I popped in and bought both. We got our bedding dry outside today

Good morning. Feels colder this morning.
Snow is forecast but they say it won't stick.

No plans for today, just go with the flow kind of day.

Gem glad SIL tested negative. Our friends are a lot better now after having covid.

Oma, love DD's description cat coccaine.

Dinner is fries, egg and mushy peas.
I was going to make chips, but we are thinking of having fish and chips tomorrow.

          Good morning everyone.

I hope you slept well after that busy day Daisy and that it was a good one.

It feels a bit nippy here Nan2 but we don't have any snow forecast.

Baby E is better, so unless there has been a relapse overnight he will be coming today. OH will be with me as a men's competition is taking over the golf club today .

                Morning everyone

My goodness it’s bitter cold ,
Been to MILs a few moans but on the whole she was quite happy,

B had appointment with Musculoskeletal clinic this morning
They have said there isn’t much they can do to help with the pain.
Going to write to his Dr to say the same and refer him back to the Hospital , so no help there.

                Gem
Be careful lifting little one , let S do that 😁

                Daisy
You must have been worn out , hope you slept well.

                Nanto
Hope you get a quiet day for a change .

                  Poor B, Oma xx

As OH is here all day, and can't paint as it's the room baby sleeps in, she is on hand!
She has lifted him onto the table each time I change him and will do the stair carrying.

                  Still snowing.

No snow here but we do have light rain.

GD and H have just arrived. GD told me she has applied for a part time job at JLewis, has an interview next week. GD has brought her washing to use my washing machine she says the one at the house where they are living smells and is in a room at the back of the garage so she can’t leave H in the house. I don’t use mine a lot so seems a good idea for her to use it when she comes to see us. My DD has just given me some home made Broc and Stilton soup, Yummy

Gemini, take care lifting the little one today, so pleased they are all feeling better.

Daisy, you must be tired after all that cooking and entertaining, take things easier today if you can.

Oma, Pleased to hear Mil wasn’t too full of moans. Sorry the clinic couldn’t help B with the pain he is suffering. Is the pain from a spinal injury he suffered when he was serving in Ireland.

                      Good Afternoon each.
I am sorry to hear about the snow! We have rain here but that didn’t stop Bess nagging to go for a walk. I got drenched, so did she. It was not a pleasant walk.
I have been trying to sort out my EBay account. I was locked out with no way in! I eventually found a contact number and it seems to be sorted. (Famous last words).
Lizzie, have you tried a fizzy drink to help clear the blockage? This was recommended to me when I had an ileostomy. I know your block is further up the line but it may help.
I should really move myself and do some cooking for next week. It’s going to be a very busy week ending with DD2’s 40th birthday. Onward and upward.
                      Have a good day ladies.

                        Still snowing.

Only had a bit of housework to do, so I've made 4 corned beef and onion pies Not the ones I make with beans in, these are pastry pies.

Plant, good luck for GD when she has her interview.

                          Plant
He has nerve damage from having shingles in his spine while having Chemo,
Its constant pain like electric shocks down his left leg and he has very little feeling in his left foot .
Having already a damaged spine hasn’t helped and he has Osteoporosis in his spine and hips.
So that combination is not good
                          .
GD as you say May as well do her washing at yours , I agree she can’t leave H in the house and it’s too cold to take her into the garage all the time ,

GM that’s the down side of having a dog having to walk them in horrible weather,
Hope you get your cooking done.

Corned beef pies are a favourite of my family ,
I must admit I love them but the pastry doesn’t like me , I get heartburn but it’s worth it 😁

GM, thanks for the tip, I must say it is much better today, I slept with my bed end raised and managed to sleep.

We have the same weather, RAIN! I got a message from GD2 asking if I could take her and 2 friends to Bounce Valley, it isn't far, they were going on their bikes until they saw the rain. I have been with them and they were the only ones there until the last 30 minutes, I didn't expect 3 teenagers to enjoy it, but, I was wrong, they loved it! I was planning on going for a walk, whilst they were there, until I saw the rain!I have just got home.

I am going to start on my tea now.

Rain all day today and gloomy with it. I had to go into town for a haircut and I normally catch the bus in! No chance today, I'd have been soaked walking to the bus stop, so I drove. Now I feel a new woman after my cut and colour banishing the greys for a bit longer!

Off to the Suffolk coast tomorrow. Hoping that the weather will allow me to get out for my walks along the beach and marshes. I shall pack my wellies just in case! If not, I;ve been to the library and have a supply of books to read. Have booked dinner in a favourite restaurant for Saturday and as the famous chip shop is just round the corner from my apartment, that's tomorrow night sorted too.

Hope everyone is keeping warm and that the snow doesn't last too long. Take care ladies xx

Believe you can and you're halfway there.
