Lizzie, the plumber will be able to locate and fix the leak now we at least know which room it is in. The problem is he can't come until tomorrow. The room is where the baby sleeps so we won't be having him tomorrow.

Tomato sausage always reminds me of my mum, Nan2. It was one of her favourites.

Aquafit this morning. I will stay for a quick coffee with my friend. I have a massage at 1.30 so I need to get home, shower, quick lunch then out for 1. My neck and back need the massage so it's worth the dashing about!
OH is sending photos of under the floorboards to the plumber and will speak to him later.

Good Wednesday morning, everyone. We've got watery sunshine, but no doubt the rain will be back.

Gem, thank goodness you've at least located the leak now, but even with a gas fire no heating and no hot water in the kitchen make everything harder. A kettle of hot water doesn't go far for washing up etc. The massage sounds lovely and worth dashing about for. S did well to keep warm on the golf course yesterday.

Nanto, love the graphic. I hope the gale isn't causing any damage.

Usual Wednesday for us - OH and pals working on the kit car (still, but at least it's making progress) and dog training for me and Eva.

No sound from next door, H and GD must still be asleep. I didn’t sleep well, which isn’t like me. I am not worried about the procedure tomorrow but I suppose it is on my mind. Needed to be up a bit earlier today as my cleaner is coming this morning.

Morning everyone
By it was a bit blustery during the night,
Still a stiff breeze and watery sun but the rain has stopped for now.

B. Has the Dentist this morning another broken tooth,
He used to have strong white teeth now they are discoloured and weak due to all the Chemo , but could be worse couldnt it.

I was going to go shopping while he was in the Dentist but he has a new phone coming and so far they haven’t text with a time slot.

House work done and I washed the filter jug and kettle out then the fridge ,

We didn’t sleep well B had leg cramps so had to keep getting out of bed to stretch ,

Good morning. Lovely day here after a very wet and windy day yesterday. I have doors and windows open and it feels very springlike. Gas man has been and gone, smart meter fitted and all up and running, it was a very quick job, took under an hour. He was very efficient and even got my Alexa working again after I’d been having problems with it. So all good.

Missed my knitting group this morning but might have a short walk later. Enjoy the sunshine 🌞

You are lucky although it’s bright here it’s still windy and cold .
Man came yesterday to change our smart meter but it didn’t need changing , we have only had it in a couple of month .
He couldn’t understand why he had been sent to change it.
He checked it all out and everything was fine ,
A wasted job but it meant he had a little break before the next job 😁

Just been over to M&S then we popped into Matalan ,
Nothing caught my eye the clothes are so dreary at the moment and poor quality I think ,
Plus a huge queue and only one girl maning both the cash and self service tills .

Plant, I hope you had a lovely day with GD and H, and are feeling relaxed as possible about tomorrow. What time do you have to be at the hospital?

Enfys, it was a much better day today than I expected. I didn't even wear a coat when I took Eva to training this afternoon, but it cooled down quite a lot this evening. What a pity you missed your knit and natter group, but good news that the gas man did a good job.

Oma, isn't it disappointing when a whole shop's clothes are so unattractive. Poor B with his tooth. Did the dentist repair it or has it got to come out? I hope he isn't in any pain with it.

Training was interesting with a new dog in class. He's a handsome black-coated retriever and did very well. All the other dogs gave him plenty of space and nobody eye-balled him. Eva, of course, took the first opportunity to go and have a good sniff at his bed! She does that every week with all the dogs.

I hope everyone was OK and no structural damages. We just had a few pots blown over

Enfys, we have a smart meter and I try avoid looking at it . It's alarming how much gas and electricity is now , and don't even get me started on the standing charge!!!


OH has got a cold , again, he had one all over Christmas and the cough went on for ages and here we go again.

I have been out twice with the walking stick, not sure if it's helping at the moment. I suppose I will get used to it.

Yesterday turned into a lovely day. We knew DS1 was calling in, and I had a feeling sis in law and hubby would visit, and they did.
Spent about 3 hours talking, drinking tea, eating cakes and biscuits.

Expecting today to be quieter.

The plumber is coming this morning. Poor OH had to take out half of our fitted wardrobes in that room yesterday, emptying them first. She also drained the system via a hose pipe on the hallway radiator, so that has stopped the leaking for now.
It is our friend P's birthday tomorrow so we will drop in with his card today at some point today.
