Oma, your poor back. It sounds really painful. Eva generally enjoys homework - she gets lots of treats.

It will definitely be after Christmas before the kit car is finished. It could be more like Easter! No, there definitely won't be another one, but OH may help one of the men who has about 12 classic/vintage cars!

oh yes Gem, the physio will actually throw my knee in all directions etc! Bend it, straighten it etc, message.

I have just come home from the circuit, one of the men, he is young, has parkinson disease, I get on really well with him, we all do actually, he hasn't been for 3 weeks and I was getting worried, I knew his son has a carpentery business in the next village, I have found his number and if Peter hadn't been there today I was going to phone him to ask how his father was!
Luckily he was there but has been ill in bed, prostate problems, fever etc, hospital visits. He wasn't his usual active self, he did manage to finish the lesson though, I told him I almost phoned his son, I now have his number so we can keep in touch.
He is only 61 years old, lost his first wife to breast cancer when the children were young, he has since married and they live at the other side of the village.

Lizzie, what a lot of problems your circuit training friend has. You are a very kind person Lizzie.

Daisy, I am intrigued to know what this kit car will look like.

Nanto, I not a big meat eater but I love braising steak, must buy some.

Oma, So sorry to hear you have a sore back, take care. Be careful how you sit.

Lizzie, I'm not sure about this, but I think the Remember Me feature works by sending a cookie to your browser, and the cookie is then "seen" when you log in in the future. I think it only saves the User ID (not the password) in some cases. You can use a Password Manager though.

I'm sorry I'm hazy about this, but I find on my phone (where I use Face identification) I get a prompt saying do I want to log in as Daisy. (IPhone). I've tried various browsers on my laptop and find Opera retains my log in details, including my password. I have had this explained to me but can only remember it's related to cookies, as above.

If i can get a clearer explanation I'll post it.

Daisy I take the bus to town generally since we finally got our bus passes a couple of years ago. Parking in York is manic ( and expensive) at any time, much more so near Christmas.

I had a nice lunch catch up with my friend ( our mutual friend Lizzie)
Due to the aqua class followed by quite a bit of walking before and after the bus at either end my back is aching. I put a microwavable wheat bag on when I got back. Knee stood up fine to the walking through.
I am quite full from lunch plus pud. OH has made tea which is almost ready so I hope I can do it justice!

Daisy, my iPad does something like that, it isn't difficult, only on here it is automatically logged in.

Gem, you would enjoy lunch with I. We have all known each other a long time now. Does your back hurt because you are walking different with your knee??

Parking is the same everywhere here, IF you can find a space it costs the earth.

Oma, I hope Gem is right and ice and heat alternatively will help your back.

Gem, you are getting plenty of activity for your new knee, and it sounds as though it's made a huge difference to you. Your back will gradually readjust, I'm sure.

Parking is a nightmare, but then so are most roads these days, between congestion, flooding, potholes and road works going anywhere is a lottery.

                                Good morning, cold but dry.

Nothing happening here today. I must sound so boring. Roll on the weekend.

Got another pile of ironing to do.

Not sure if we are going to the pub or not for dinner.
If not, it will be an old stand by of chips, egg beans/peas.
