    Nanto
Im sureBung it in is a technical term in some cook book somewhere 🤣🤣

    Daisy
Sounds a lovely get together, what veg is DS growing ?

DD lost out again on the flat for GS , but has lined up another 3 viewings , she said there are still lots out there for him to see so not too worried about it .

Sun. Is out but it’s a bit nippy, washed the floors and opened the patio doors to help them dry quicker and it was cold .
Nothing exciting planned see how the day goes .

Good Monday morning, everyone. Sunshine here, but rather breezy.

Our intentions to get out in the garden early failed miserably. Phone calls and trying to get something delivered before we go away on Saturday have gobbled up over an hour. I'll get back later to catch up with everyone.

I hope you got into the garden Daisy.

It was so sunny even I had to wash my floors when I got back from the meeting Oma! They dried in no time.

What a lovely sunny day it is here

The meeting went well and we got the next one booked in. My reflexology was relaxing.
I lost a filling over the weekend and this afternoon phoned my dentist for an appointment. As it is not painful the earliest appointment was July 20th If I develop any pain before then I am to contact them.
I was told to use a temporary filling kit (which I happened to have one of) so I have. Let's see how that goes. I think this is far from ideal because if any decay was starting in there I will just be trapping it in, with no knowledge or skill of dentistry! Fingers crossed.

Oma, sorry to hear DD lost our again for the flat for GS. I do hope they find one soon.

Daisy nice to spend time with the family. I wish we could keep the sunshine, beautiful yesterday but cloudy and windy today.

Gemini, so pleased you are feeling better. Enjoy your reflexology

We had another mad day yesterday. GD2 and her partner were here for the weekend, GS1 and his family came for lunch and then Dil snd GS3 popped in to see me and joined the family on the terrace in the sunshine. I am feeling rather tired today so I have had a quiet day. Did some sewing and came to catch up on here.

Hallo everyone, after being like summer a few days I am sat here with a fleece jacket on!

DS1 and family called in yesterday whilst out on their bikes, they got me peony roses for mothers day, a friend is a grower and he has just been with a bunch for my birthday, he has done the same for 24? years now and never forgets!!

I did the coffee this morning and they surprised me with a lovely plant display for out on the balcony. Then I have been to the pool and did my best not to do it all on tip toes, up to now they are fine.

Plant, you certainly are kept busy with your family being near you.

Like you Gem, I feel sick even thinking of those rides! GD2 loves being upside down etc etc and always has, GD1 isn't as keen.

I have never managed to learn chess.

A lovely couple of days here. Managed to get a few jobs done outside and also sorted out my wardrobe so I now have a bag to go to the charity shop. Always nice to have a clear out. Also took a bag of books to our post office as they sell on books for 25p! Great to recycle and it raises money for charity.

Enfys, You sound so much happier and positive, so pleased for you. If you were nearer I would pop around for a G&T, I remember having one with you in Birmingham.

Your right about the decay under , I hope that doesn’t happen xx

things never go to plan do they 😏

GS 1 came for his tea , He had IKEA meatballs , mashed potato with ikea Swedish meatball gravy
Then finished with a big bowl of fresh strawberries covered in cream 😀
One very full lad left to play Golf for a couple hours .

He got another Uni offer today ,
Leeds Conservatoire music school offered him a place .
Hes going to accept Leeds Beckett though , he thinks it will be better for a musical career.

Gem, you certainly sound better - it must have been a 24 hour-type bug, but still very nasty. You've had a good day - reflexology, library meeting and even clean floors! I hope the temporary filling is ok.

Lizzie, it sounds as though you have had a great birthday, and the flowers are beautiful.

Plant, your family have great parties which just seem to 'happen'. I'm sure it's great fun, but you probably need a quiet day to recover. How are you feeling now?

Enfys, we have had a lovely couple of days with lots of sunshine. It's so welcome after all the cold and rain. It is good to have a wardrobe clear out every so often. Something on my endless To Do list, I'm afraid. I like to pass books on as well. DIL2 and I swap books often, and if no-one else is waiting to read something we pass them on to the Oxfam book shop. But we now have two telephone box libraries in the village now, so I'll put the next lot in one of those.

Oma, did the day warm up for you? I hope GS wasn't too disappointed about the flat. It often happens that something even nicer turns up, doesn't it. Fingers crossed for him.

We've done a lot of gardening today, once we escaped from the phone calls and paperwork! We've been plagued all day with scam calls as well - one even appeared to come from our local exchange. They're such pests!

OH did loads of weeding and planted a few things we bought last week. I've been sorting out pots - cleaning, replanting etc. It's surprising how long it all takes! But at least the garden is beginning to look better after the winter devastation. We'll hopefully get it finished tomorrow and then I can concentrate on getting ready for our holiday. OH is out tonight so I'm catching up with emails etc.

Lizzie, I suppose your birthday always falls close to Mother's Day? My Dad's birthday was June 22nd and often coincided with Fathers Day. The flowers are beautiful.

Enfys, sorting out like that does us good, and the charity shop!

Oma, the dental stuff does set hard. The receptionist tells me it's good for over a year! There is plenty more if it comes out.

Your 'mad' family days keep you young Plant!

Daisy, I am much better yes, totally over the gastric bug. My back is less painful too, we won't talk about the knees!
                      Not long until your holiday

                        Enfys,you sound in a brighter mood,thats good.

Oma, what a shame DD lost out again with a flat, but she will get there.

I'm going to tidy round inside, then going to get the grass cut.
Hubby is out this morning,he said to leave it till he got back.
I can have it done though before he gets home.

Dinner is cicken in breadcrumbs, baby potatoes ,cabbage and gravy.

                          Good morning all.

Will OH be pleased to find the grass cut Nan2? I think my OH would if I did ours when she was out!

Library morning for me, GS1 pick up from school. I don't think I have any more plans. I have put the washing on already, another lovely morning out there.

                              Afternoon ladies

I went for my Angiogram this morning , I was first down at 8.30
The absolutely brilliant news is my heart and arteries are very healthy so it’s not Angina .

Sending me to see someone else to get to the bottom of this .
He said he could hear my labouring breath and feel the. Palpitations in my neck,

Said it could be one of many things that present like heart problems ,

Could be medication, lung problems, Even Reflux that I haven’t had ordinary symptoms with can present as a heart attack
                              or it could be skeletal.

I have problems with my neck and shoulders he said could be contracting the chest muscles.
Until everything’s been discussed and tested we won’t know .

I said I felt a fraud he said no , they would rather do this procedure than ignore it then have a massive heart attack along the line , it was the right road to go down.

I am so relieved but it’s a puzzle why I’m like this .

Got to stay on the aspirin and beta blockers till they decide what it is , no idea why but I will do as they say .

The dressing has to stay on 24 hours it looks like I’ve been trying to self harm

Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma, at least you know it isn't your heart, now for them to find out what is causing it. Don't feel quilty, it is the only way they can find out what is causing your breathlessness. Is that a word????

Gem, yes, my birthday is always near Mothers day.

My neighbour has just been for coffee, she has gone home with plants! I get them from her and now she takes others with her!
