What are you Doing Today?

Afternoon ladies
Had to go to MILs this morning with food and she was having a wheelchair delivered so wanted us to be there ,
Luckily they delivered just after we got there so no sitting around waiting ,
I really didn’t feel up to staying long .

Came home had some lunch then fell asleep on the sofa for over a hour ,
felt so much better so did the ironing ,
I bought cyclamen yesterday to replace the summer flowers that have gone over
I intended doing the boarders this afternoon but it’s rather nippy and to be honest I can’t be bothered so I will do them tomorrow .

A warm coat and some jumpers are needed up north , the sun is out but it’s cold .

Im like Lizzie ,cases unpacked and stored away as soon as we come back 😁
Your poor Mum it must be so confusing for her , thankfully she forgets quickly .

Hope it hasn’t been to expensive getting car sorted and then the Sun room .

What a nice graphic , has Hubby sorted the lawn now did the turf turn up ? .

We had a good day down at the bungalow. Most of the garden is done.
They just need a few more rolls of turf,but that won't be delivered until after monday now.
I took a before photo but i forgot to take an after photo. I think hubby has got one though.
Will show photos maybe tomorrow.

I'm sorry I didn't back here earlier. We've just finished getting the caravan ready - just stuff to put in the fridge and freezer in the morning and then we're off. Hopefully about 6.30!!

I think reception is ok at the camp site so I'll pop in when I can. So looking forward to the break and seeing friends and family.

Please be good while I'm away - I know Gem will keep an eye on you all. xx

Daisy, an extra night is always a good idea! We were originally going to book for 9 nights in Majorca, but at the last minute changed it to 10. We were glad we did as it was 8 days really with arriving in the evening (our flight was changed) and leaving after breakfast . Have a lovely time, it will do you good

Sunny here too Nan2. Have a good shopping trip.

We have nothing planned today. In fact I have nothing much planned all weekend, OH has golf tomorrow.
We may go to Wilko as we haven't for ages and need a few things. I generally avoid Saturday shopping, but do occasionally venture out!

I have done two loads of washing, done my cleaning and been to Aldi.
We want to get the new plants in today, boarders are looking a little bare at the moment , we were ruthless and took everything out .

I may make an apple crumble later. We are taking puddings and sweet treats for all as our contribution to the weekend away. I will buy most of it from M&S but will make a big crumble as we have a lot of apples. I will freeze that, but make small one for us to have this weekend.

What am I doing today? I am going to a wedding! We are leaving here at 12, GS1 and 2 are going earlier to meet up with friends at an hotel close to the Registry Office. Then a bus is picking us up to take us to the venue. Only close family and close friends are going to the Registry Office. The rest of the family and friends are going straight to the venue at 2pm. There are no children invited. Baby H will be with her daddy, then to a childminder. Her mum and dad are returning to put her to bed, then a friend is going to be here until my DD and Sil return. I hope GS is feeling a bit better today, he was a bit tense yesterday evening, I expect his sister, who arrived yesterday evening with partner, will keep him going.

Daisy, good idea to extend your holiday, it is time you had a break.. I used to love stocking the caravan, not so keen on unloading it. Have a lovely time with your friends.

Nanto, have a lovely meal out, you are frequently cooking for others.

Oma, Sun shining but it is very chilly. I have replanted some pots. You have had a busy morning already.

Oma, it is cold here, in fact, I got soaked through yesterday whilst out on the bike and I haven't warmed up yet!!! The sun is shining with showers now and again, I am going to DS2 for lunch, all being well the dog won't be there. I don't know if I mentioned that her DD1 has moved back home with the baby, plus the dog. Maybe they are getting the relationship sorted out, I may know more later.

Plant have a wonderful day & enjoy the wedding the weather here is fabulous wedding day weather crisp but bright just the slightest of breezes just perfect for celebrating.

Oma I need to brighten up my borders at the front Home Bargains had some lovely bedding plants but I decided to leave them until next week when DGS comes to do the weeding I'll get him to plant them out for me.

Apple Crumble sounds delish Gems its one of my favourites I often do a mix with rhubarb for a Sunday dessert for Jim next door he just loves his comfort food,today I am taking him in a bowl of scouse & beetroot for his tea I have had it in the slow cooker since late last night the house smells yummy to say the least !!.

I'm not doing too much today not seeing my pal Margie today she has gone to London to queue she will be back on Monday evening she's staying at her friends house after she has paid her respects in Windsor.

I went to DS2 for lunch, it was nice seeing them and we had a good lunch, I came home with a bag full of cooking apples.

It is sunny now but was showery up to lunch time. I have just bought myself a Jack Murphy rain coat for when I am out on the bike, I have a really good waterproof from Tenson, I got it for when I picked the girls up out of school, it isn't really suitable, or long enough, for when I am on the bike so I have treated myself! I used to have a shorter model and wore it a lot.

Just had a very heavy shower again so we won't be going walking this evening.
