      Lizzie,lovely photos.

GD2 was supposed to be coming today.
She rang about 11ish,to say she was working late. She's a good worker, she takes all the hours they offer here.
Hopefully she will make it tomorrow.

Nanto, you must be very proud of your GD2. xx

Lizzie, despite the heat it must have been really interesting seeing all the exotic flowers and butterflies. There's a butterfly farm near us, and I've never been there! Something to fix soon, because it sounds lovely.

Plant - I don't know if the rain forecast covers your area or not, but best take your umbrella, just in case.

Has the rain arrived yet ?

Itโ€™s a lovely bright day here and warm
I have done my weekend blitz downstairs ,
pulled the chairs and sofa out to clean skirtings and hoover behind
cleaned kitchen cupboard doors etc , I really need to get behind the unit in the dinning room
it will slide out but itโ€™s so heavy I will leave that till another day .

I have to go pick new kitchen cupboard door handles up fromTool station today , weโ€™re supposed to arrive in store last Saturday but with Postal strike they have just arrived ,

At the moment I have those long bar type on and they drive me mad I only have to stand by one or walk past and I take a door or drawer with me as I get caught up ,๐Ÿ™„
My new handles are sort of half moon so no areas to snag on I hope

Have a good day ladies xx

What a lovely day we are having today here on The Wirral sun is shining but not too hot with a slight breeze from The Mersey.
All sorts of exciting things going on down by The River canoeing/water skiing/and a small Naval Frigate open for the families to board and look around.
I'm just going to put out my first wash of whites on the whirly thingy and get them dried I found 6 lovely damask napkins when I was emptying the cupboard in the kitchen which needed freshening up so pleased I found them I had forgotten all about them such a pleasant surprise.

I had a lovely visit from my GGCs on Wednesday before they went off to Rhyl with my DD for the day it was so nice to see them, they go back to school on Monday so visits will be much less now as they have busy week-ends her with her dancing/ballet & him with his Jnr.football training.

Must go now the washing has finished and am going to plod down garden and hang the stuff on the line x

Catch up soon take care x

Nanto, I think that fairy needs some more clothes on if Autumn is on its way.

Oma, my kitchen cupboard door handles are half moon. I have two pieces of furniture in my sitting room that I cannot move, goodness knows what is underneath and behind.

We had a good drop of rain last night, no thunder and lightning they forecasted.

I am off to GD1 in a minute, trying to think where we can take H. I still havenโ€™t got an appt to have this stitch removed, I have spoken to the Consultants secretary and she is going to look into it. If it were not the risk of infection, DD would remove it. It is dreadful service and I am paying for this. Problem is the doctor I have consulted just uses this hospital for consultations and if necessary, treatment. When I phone the clinic, they have four options and none of those are to make an appt with a nurse. I am thinking that I am not the person who should be making the appt. It probably should be my Consultants secretary as she made the previous appts.

What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Hallo everyone, I decided to get the table and chairs from the balcony down into the shed, I still have a bench that I can sit on. I don't know how long I will have to "rest" after my operation, one site says 4 weeks then another says a week so I will see what my urologist has to say.

Then I decided to sort the plants out indoors, I have got those sorted, I went to the charity shop for a pot and they had one I liked so that is all done now.

Oma, I may go again to see the butterflies, they are open to October. The man started it as a hobby quite a few years ago.

Rain is forecast here for next week so we shall see.

Oma, I often get caught up on the door handles, it depends on what I am wearing really.

I may go for a bike ride soon after my hectic morning!

Sorry Plant, I have just read our posting, that isn't very good service, especially if you are paying for it.

Glamm, I don't know if my DS1 is still in the Liverpool area, I know he is due home on Sunday, I may here more later.

A quick hello from me today.

I'll catch up with everyone later! Sainsburys came half an hour early this morning so it was a bit of a scramble to get to the door! We were up, but only just. When I'd put everything away and OH had done the bins, I grot a quick shower, took Eva out and then went to fetch GDs and Cooper. While I was there dS2 helped me sort out a problem with Messages on my phone. I'd thought I was in WhatApp and what I tried to do sent Messages in a spin. Back home, emergency snacks for two hungry growing girls, and then spent half an hour trying to order some wool and other bits for GD1, but the website kept crashing. Now it's lunch time! We're out for dinner tonight but I've got to cook for the girls so we may as well join them.

                        Hope veryone is ok.

Half an hour is TOO early Daisy! We have noticed Sainsbury's often turn up early. Tesco phone to check it's convenient if they are early. Have a nice GD day.

How soon is your op Lizzie?

Plant, terrible service. I hope you have a good time with GD and little H.

Oma, I'm always getting caught up on all sorts of handles!

We are in our room having a cuppa ( and loo break!) We had a swim in the pool this morning and lay on our sunbeds watching the sea. There is always a lot of interesting activity with boats of all kinds. Sea swimming next. OH will wear a T shirt as she got a bit burnt on her shoulders despite high factor cream. We stay in the shade mostly, but there's no shade in the sea
