I have just had a video call from GD, she wants me to go down and pick her and H up to take them to the Library and spend some time with them.

Oma, your poor neighbour, good job you were able to give them a lift

Daisy, I hope the problem with your arm doesn’t last long, at least the garden doesn’t need too much attention at this time of the year. You and your OH will just have to rest together.

      Good morning everyone.

      What a lovely cat Nan2!

Pulled muscles really hurt Daisy and take a time to heal. Take it as easy as you can. Poor OH I hope it all goes smoothly for him .

I'm sure the neighbours were glad of your help Oma.

Enjoy your time with GD and H Plant.

      Busy day here.
      Library this morning.
GS1 is in a dance performance on the school field this afternoon. They have just been told and DD will be in a meeting so Grandma to the rescue!
Back here to give him his tea as usual, then off to drop him off at the youth club.

I don't have to go back for him as DD collects him, so I will get on with booking my Birmingham trip 😊

Hallo everyone, Oma, it is still warm and sunny here, only yesterday I went to DS1 in the car to do the plants, I walked in and it was dry, I walked out of the back door to do the plants and the heavens opened!!! I got wet walking back to the car, I saw people on their bikes etc, all soaking wet, I got back into the village, not a drop of rain had fallen and it is only 4kms.

The lady that gives the "better moving" classes was a ballet dancer/teacher Oma, she still has her dance school, but, she is crippled with arthritis and isn't any age really. Then again I suffer and I wasn't a dancer!

Gem, enjoy the dancing at the school.

Daisy, take it easy with a pulled muscle and your poor DH! Nothing worse than pain in the mouth!!

Plant, I saw the last hour of the tennis on Sunday, the young man did so well!!

I have got my phone set up for apple pay now so I can pay without a bank card, the lady where I do coffee did it all for me, I could have done it myself, but, needed to know if it was safe or not.

I have trimmed my olive trees and I now want to spray them.

I have had a walk to the village, I did most shopping on my way home yesterday in the car, roll on Friday!!

Oma, it started raining here about 11ish and its still persisting it down.
Handy that you could give your neighbours a lift.

Daisy, hope you get some relief for your arm soon. Hope OH is ok.

Shopping arrived early this morning, they did text though to say it would.

Nan2 and Oma it's been sunshine and showers here with far more of the showers.

Daisy, thinking of your OH and your poor arm! I hope you have both managed today.

Get you with the Apple Pay Lizzie!

GS's school dance performance was cancelled this afternoon as the rain was torrential at that time. They got to practice it this morning when it was fine, but all for nothing in the end!

Gem, what a shame GS's performance had to be cancelled. The Great British Weather has a lot to answer for.

Lizzie, I've never been brave enough to put any banking type apps on my phone! Well done. I bet you an't wait to get back on your bike though.

Oma, I bet GS1 is really looking forward to his holiday in August. He's a hard-working lad, so I'm sure he will have enough money in his pocket to enjoy himself.

Plant, did H enjoy your trip to the library?

We've had no rain today, so I had to water the pots tonight. I didn't do the front garden though. I've tried not to use my arm much today and it felt a bit easier. Eva was exceptionally good when I took her out - then I tugged the hosepipe of its reel to water and my arm started to hurt again.

OH was very lucky with his wisdom tooth. It was loose and when the dentist pulled it out there was only a very stunted root to it - it must never have developed properly - so it's just a bit sore now, but otherwise ok. (Fingers crossed, here). When I think of all the trouble you had, Oma, I think he was very lucky.

We're out tomorrow - OH's pensioners' club, but it's not the usual venue but will mean more travelling for us because we have to drop Eva off at DS2's first, and it's in the opposite direction. We'll give some friends a lift, too.

Good morning, Daisy, I have the bank apps etc on the phone, had them a long time, it was just the Apple Pay I needed someone that uses it and could help me install. A friend said I won't have to lose my phone, I would have to lose my thumb and my face with it!!!

                    Good morning.
And it's raining. I've been awake most of the night and I know it's rained throughout the night. Come back summer.

Daisy, glad OH's wisdom tooth wasn't too much bother to remove.
                    Enjoy your day out.

Gem, what a shame about the performance being cancelled.
                    That's British weather for you.

No plans for us today, will just take the day as it comes.

Chips, beans and egg on the menu, hubby will be pleased.

Good Wednesday morning, everyone. It's cloudy here, but no rain at the moment.

Lizzie, my 'settings' on my iphone keep telling me to set up Apple Pay, but I've never used it. My fingerprint never seems to work, so I always use face ID, which seems more reliable.

Nanto, I've had another sleepless night as well, and no chance of a nana nap today. Enjoy your 'easy' day.

I'm just going for a shower then take Eva to DS2's - she'll enjoy a play day with Cooper - and back here ready to pick our friends up at 10 o'clock. Chat later, hopefully.

Oma, give the Gems a cuddle from me, how lovely to be able to have a meet.

I haven’t got Apple Pay, self scanning etc is as far as I go. My GD pays for her shopping as she goes around the supermarket.

Daisy, have a lovely meet up with friends, I hope it stays fine.

Nanto, I hope you have a chance to get in a nap today.

Had a lovely trip to the Library with GD and H, she loves books. WI for me this morning and Board Games this afternoon.

                            Good morning ladies.

Yes, It's the Omas and Gems lunch today
It's always lovely to meet up with them.
I am going to my aquafit class first as I'm home by 11 when I don't stay for coffee.

It's actually not raining here this morning Nan2!

Daisy was it your shoulder that was keeping you awake? I'm glad the wisdom tooth was easier than expected. Take care of that arm.

Plant Oma and I are lucky in living in the same part of the country. Not close enough to meet up regularly or pop to each others houses, but we have found a nice place to eat that is about an hour's drive for each of us.
I hope you enjoy WI and board games.

                            Happy Wednesday everyone.
