What are you Doing Today?

Good morning on the last day of the month.

Well i don't know where i've been since early January.
Saw it on the news this morning about a missing couple and a baby.
They have found the couple in Brighton,but not the baby.
I haven't heard a thing about this and i watch the news every day.
When i hear about anything like this,my ears usually prick up.

Hubby out for a couple of hours this morning.
I want to make a lemon meringue pie,got a packet mix that needs using up.
Also want to make some pancakes for the freezer.
Oh, and i've got two packs of bacon that need portioning for the freezer.

I think dinner will be some fries and fish fingers done in the air fryer, and some beans done in the microwave.

Theyhave been hunting them down for a while , she had no assistance with the birth apparently ,
That poor baby. Hope it’s with someone and not been left along in a tent in the cold .

We had Fish fingers and beans last night , neither of us fancied anything we were not hungry so had that it was lovely 😁
A nice tasty light meal .

Got a bit to do today and want to go to Farm foods .

Oma, we don't often have fish fingers, I get them in mainly for GS2. But when we do we really enjoy them!

Library morning, then GS1 from school. He will have his tea here as usual but then we will meet DD1 from work. Opposite her office is a place called Heavenly Desserts. When they found out that I hadn't even heard of it that arranged to take me there

Good morning, I have read about that a few times Nanto, I do hope the baby is safe!

We have snow!!! It will be cold at the theme park, it won't bother them though, they will be well wrapped up.

Gem, I read the other day that the Disney cruise ship will be in Rotterdam for one day in August. I know where the pool is that you went to, when my sister lived in Selby we would go there when visiting. Long ago!

Good Tuesday morning everyone. It's been a chilly old February, hasn't it! Let's hope Spring takes over during March!

Lizzie, it will certainly be cold at the theme park!

Gem, meeting DD from work and going to Heavenly Desserts sounds good. Who will be more excited - you or GS1, I wonder.

Nanto, I'd missed the item about the couple and the missing baby. It seems they've been living here there and everywhere. Poor baby. I hope he or she is safe.

Oma, Farm Foods sounds popular, but I don't think we've got any round here.

Oooh, lemon meringue pie - I haven't had that for ages, and I love it. Most people seem to like fish fingers, don't they! I usually keep some GF ones in the freezer for the GDs, but then we also need an ordinary packet for us as well!

No plans for us today, but there's been a frost again overnight so gardening probably isn't an option.

I hope everyone is ok. I've been thinking about Clover and wondering how she is. xx

We went to Farm foods and the tubs of Magnum ice cream were on for 99p so we bought 3 , B could eat one on his own ,
Also bought another half crispy duck with Pancakes , GS 1 came for lunch yesterday and said he wouldn’t mind some next week , he loves his crispy duck that boy .

We then called into Greggs just at the top of our estate B wanted a vanilla slice so I got a Belgian bun well would be rude not too 😁
A treat now and again won’t hurt .

we have a similar shop my Niece loves to go too but they are pricey .

my goodness hat snow couldn’t have came at a more inappropriate could it , but I’m sure they won’t let that spoil their fun .😁

B it taking the car to be washed and hoovered , it goes back tomorrow , our new car is finally ready to pick up after months of waiting .

Feeling deprived about not having a Farm Foods with all those bargains. Our nearest is 11 ½ miles away "as the crow flies" - more like 15 through heavy traffic and a motorway.

The postman has just delivered another parcel for our broadband. I hope the final bit of kit arrives before the engineer gets here tomorrow.

I haven’t heard about the missing mother and baby.

We have H and her mother here, H was here overnight as GD had an accident at work and had to go to minor injuries . As it was H’s bedtime, DD put her to bed here. GD has pulled a muscle in her calf and is on crutches. GD and H are here, plus dog but GD is going to work tomorrow, just light duties. H has returned to her usual self, a little pickle but she gets tired, no more spots appearing .

Poor GD that must be painful , I hope it heals soon ,difficult to be on crutches with a baby to see too ,
Good to hear H is ok and no more spots , Did she go to child minders today ?
