Nan2 I bet it was lovely to have a cuddle

DD3 is fine. If nothing happening over the weekend she is booked for a Stretch and Sweep on Monday, and an induction on Thursday if nothing comes of that. By then she will be 2 weeks and a day overdue. DD3 herself was 2 weeks late, so I'm not totally surprised!

GC just gone home had a lovely visit but I’m worn out they never stopped. 😁
Then in between DD came to drop Storm off as they were getting a big pizza oven delivered and it had to be lifted over the garage so wanted him out the way ,

DD and DS don’t get on because of DSs wife, they hadn’t spoken to each other for nearly two years but the ice seemed broken by time she went out ,
She still doesn’t forgive him for how he allowed DIL to treat us but it wasn’t as frosty and they did hug each other .

when Oliver was little he always called me Nana Banna and it made me smile tonight when Sophia said ! Oliver show Nana Banna that video on your phone ,

silly little thing but it made me happy 😁

Oma, they never be good friends, but as long as the are civil with each other its better than nothing.

Gem, nephews wife is 11 days overdue. The midwife told her is she isn't born over the weekend, they will induce her Monday.

Let's hope these babies put in an appearance over the weekend Nan2!

GD goes on her residential from school next week. She is gutted that the baby will probably arrive whilst she's away.

Oma - you may be tired, but I bet you loved seeing your two younger GCs. I'm so glad the ice has been broken between your DD and DS. Long may the thaw continue. A very good friend of mine was always called Nannabanana by her American GCs. I always thought it was cute.

Nanto - your nephew's wife will be 2 weeks overdue by then, so hopefully they will start things off. Poor lady must be exhausted. Let's hope there is air con in the delivery room.

Gem - what's your next forecast day for your new GC? I do hope the baby doesn't share my GS1's birthday (28th) or she really will be fed up. Is she ok, apart from the usual discomforts and tiredness?

Nanto - you can reduce the size of your photos in whatever software you new computer has. The file limit is 2MB per image. I'm sure you enjoyed your cuddles today, and it sounds as though your GD is doing very well. Are they getting any sleep?

Plant - pleased to hear your SIL's arm is functioning again. At last he can start retirement proper!

Not going shopping. I had a big shop delivered on tuesday.
Cupboards, fridge and freezers are full. All we need to buy is milk.

Daisy,i have reduced the size of photos before, but last night i just couldn't be bothered.

B has turned the water off so he can fix new radiator valves on for me ,
I have been nagging him for about 3 weeks since I bought them to put them on ,
He decided this morning to do them , I’m sure he is doing them before I get washed on purpose he knew the water would be off and I wasn’t washed 🙄

Saying nothing though as he will down tools 😁

Forgot to tell yous , yesterday when the children came Sophia who is 9 asked if she could ride on the stair lift ,
I said yes and she spent a good 20 minutes just going up and down the stairs

Good Saturday morning one and all. It's already hot here. I took Eva out before 8 o'clock for about an hour. There were very few people about - mainly runners and a few dog walkers. So just off to have a shower.

Nanto - I love that feeling when the fridge and cupboards are full, there's plenty of fruit in the fruit bowl and perhaps a couple of cakes in the cake tin! Mind, you, it usually means it's that event in December in our house! Enjoy not having to trudge round the shops in this heat. I thought you'd reduced the size of photos to post them before, and you are the tech-expert in your house, so I was a bit puzzled - but we all have times when we can't be bothered. Are you still enjoying your new computer?

Oma - I keep checking for baby news, as well. I know they'll arrive when they're ready, but it doesn't make the waiting any easier. Good news that Fin and Clare are so much better, and hopefully Martin won't be far behind them. What a rollercoaster of emotions they must have had over the last few weeks. At least B is doing the job, Oma, and I'm sure he will do it well. I know what you mean about 'difficult' timing though. Men, eh, you have to love them! Amazing what entertains children! The friends we visited while we were away have a lift in their house, and it was entertaining to watch Eva's reaction! I'll write about it when I get a minute.

Gem - my nails are getting bitten here, so I can only imagine how you feel. Any news? xx

Enfys - how are you? You must have had a busy but great time while your DS and family were here, and I'm sure it all sped by too quickly. What lovely, happy photos I've seen on FB, and even the weather was good for them. Sending hugs, because I'm sure you must be missing them. xx

No particular plans for us today. Lots of options which are mostly unappealing - washing, ironing, exercising the sucky up thing etc. Perhaps I'd better just relax in the garden and think about it first!!

Oma, I hope it will not be too long before you see your youngest GC again, Nannabanana, great name. Pleased to hear C and M are feeling they are getting better.

I hope the two awaited babies put in an appearance soon, they will come when they are ready. Very uncomfortable weather for the expectant mothers.

My Covid is back to front, I now have a cough which kept me awake last night. I was hoping to go and sit by the pond today but I can’t go now I have a cough.

Oh, Plant - you must be a bit fed up with it now. It does seem to keep coming back for a while though. Are you testing positive?

                          Good morning ladies.
                          The sun is back!

Oma, when I worked as a reflexologist I regularly went to a lady who had a stair lift. Her youngest GD was around 7 when I first met her, and loved going up and down on it. She also loved dusting, and having mini reflexology treatments from me

Daisy, relax in the garden - ignore those other things!

Oh Plant, I hope you turn corner soon xxx

I am more or less back to normal, apart from being off tea, coffee, alcohol and most sweet things. I am quite 'weepy' and OH said she felt the same after this virus.

No baby, for those wondering. She has been having on and off twinges/contractions for couple of days now, so hopefully it won't be too long.
A garden day for me today, reading in the shade
.This evening two friends are coming round. Not for a meal, just catch up. It will be good to see them.

                          Keep cool everyone
