Storm has gone home , he was so excited to see them he almost wagged his tail off 😁
Clear up has started , trying to get as much fur up as we can ,
Ive washed his blankets we use on the sofa at night and took covers off his bed and washed those , the lint catcher in the dryer looks like a fur coat 😂

We then brought stuff down from the loft we have a appointment booked at the tip for tomorrow morning before we go to MILs

Martin text this morning he had taken Clare in but wasn’t sure if they were starting her or not , he said they all seemed a little vague and didn’t know what was happening , we haven’t heard anything since so fingers crossed it’s not another delay 🙄

I am having a sit down for 5 minutes before I hoover the landing and bedrooms .

Amazing WI Jubilee Party, the hostess had acquired a marquee so we were undercover. Food was amazing and I feel stuffed. My bunting looked good. I think GD is out with H in pushchair, the weather is quite decent now.

I do hope Clare isn’t sent home again Oma, fingers crossed they keep her in and get her started. It would be lovely if she went into labour naturally.

That sounds a good party Plant

Fingers crossed for Clare getting going Oma.

We had a good shop at Aldi, then we came home and had a cuppa in the garden. Then it started to rain! So we came in and had a game of Scrabble instead.
OH is back in the garden now it is fine, chopping things up to go into the green bin.

Then they realised the COVID test they took on Sunday was inconclusive and no one had re done it .

They now saying they will take her to a ward because they breaching protocol when she should have been started ,
Its a shambles , out Martin insisted being with her and won’t leave till they get answers .

Hallo, Plant, you would enjoy the party. It has been dry here all day but the wind is still cool.

My urologist phoned and he has put me on a list for treatment with Bulkamid, I have never heard of it, he explained it to me and told me what to look for on the internet, I have looked and if I have any questions I can get a phone appointment with him. He said there is a long waiting list so could be 3 to 6 months.

Then I finally went and ordered my new specs! It was a young girl and I asked her to have a look at when I got my last pair, she couldn't believe it, 8 years ago!!! I thought it would be that. I have my eyes tested every year but they haven't changed in 8 years, in-between times I have ordered them on line, which I am really satisfied with but I think after 8 years I can treat myself.

I have just been to my neighbours, she is treating me to lunch out next week for my birthday.

Good for Martin Oma. It makes no sense that he can't be there.

I have never heard of that either Lizzie, hopefully it will be beneficial.

Oma, poor Clare. it is a shambles. Hope things improve soon.

Plant, pleased you had a good jubilee party.

We didn't get home from the bungalow till 6.30.
Hubby enjoys doing any kind of DIY, and doesn't mind helping his brother.
I've got a couple of jobs i want doing in the garden, but told hubby they can wait until he's sorted his brother.
They got the new gate hung and did a couple of jobs in the garden.
Got a bit of fencing to do,BIL is getting the wood for that tomorrow.

Well they have finally started the process, Clare had a suppository about 8.30 and will have another one at 1.30 am , hopefully this will start her labour ,
Martin said they are both worn out and very emotional,
Clare is tearful and Martin is Angry ,
B told him to just take a breath and calm down for Clare’s sake , time when baby’s born and he knows they both ok before he starts demanding answers .

Oma - I do hope Clare is getting contractions by the time she's had the second suppository. What do they do if labour doesn't start? No wonder Martin is so angry - he's worried, he can see Clare in tears and upset when she should be excited even though she's nervous. But B's right. It won't help anyone if he doesn't calm down.

Lizzie - I'm glad the urologist phoned. I've never heard of Bulkamid either, but I hope it helps.

Gem - at least the rain didn't last too long.

Plant - what a great party you've had. I bet little H has been having great fun with her auntie.

My day didn't go to plan. Our trainer's own dog had to have a major operation yesterday and she was too poorly to be left on her own, so Pam cancelled the afternoon class, and I too Eva to the late evening class instead. Not long been home! It was good for her to see some other dogs, although they were dogs she's met before. I was tired after yesterday, so am more than ready for bed now!

                        Night, night everyone. xx

Hairdresser coming this morning. Hubby will probably be going down to the bungalow.
                          I might go down later.

Daisy, sorry to hear about the trainers dog.Hope she makes a speedy recovery.

I want to get the Bunting for Jubilee out this afternoon , haven’t had time past few days my neighbours have theirs out it’s usually us that are first with decorations, they must think we not bothering 😁

                              Good morning everyone.

Nan2, we have the lovely sunshine too

Oma, DD3 would feel a whole lot better if she knew where they will be living! This unknown moving date is stressful. Everyone else is excited, the children especially I will see her tomorrow, we are all getting together.
I do hope Clare has something to report soon, she can do without all this I'm sure. I know induction is a slower rote these days than in our day, when we were put onto drip to speed things up.

Today I am going to deliver some libdem newsletters. I have all month to do it really, so won't be pushing myself to do the whole round today.
I also want to plant out some containers for summer.
I hope everyone is well today.

I have to take my GD2 to the station later, I will miss her company. Baby H was a star for her, I shall miss her today too. Yes Oma we did sing the National Anthem and toasted the Queen. The bunting I made looked good, I was very pleased to see it. The colour scheme was two shades of purple. I have so many jobs to do I am not sure where to start, as it looks to be fine I suppose the garden wins over the cleaning and ironing.

Poor Clare, I do hope something happens soon. I was started with my DD by the home midwife with oil, bath and then an enema, not nice.

I am hoping to see the flypast today, I must find out the time it is due.

Daisy, sorry to hear about the trainers dog, I hope it recovers soon.
