Oma, if it is that they can't do much, maybe a hearing aid would help filter the sounds, I will have to wait and see.

Good Wednesday morning - the middle of another week already, although I did keep thinking it was Friday yesterday!!
It's dark and damp, but I've noticed the last few days the large horse chestnut tree in front of our house is now a haze of soft new green.
Nanto - that's a very handsome peacock in your graphic. Your dinner sounds perfect for a dull day.
Lizzie - poor you. Pollen allergies can make you feel really poorly. I wonder if it's worse after the week-end helping clear your DS's field of twigs. My dS1 suffers from tree pollen allergy and it seems to start earlier every year. I do hope they can do something to help the noises in your head. It sounds like a day for you to take your time, relax and rest. You're such a busy lady, it will do you good to take things a bit easier.
Oma - enjoy your Storm Day. I bet he gets really excited when he realises he's on his way to Nana's with all those treats on offer.
Eva and I are going to training class this afternoon - we've missed the last two weeks with me being positive, so it will be good to go back. I might do some ironing this morning - it's certainly piling up between being ill and having work done on the house it's crept up on me. It's too wet to do any gardening.
I hope everyone is ok. xx

Good morning everyone.
Another wet one here.
We sometimes have tinned rice pudding Nan2, and GS1 likes it as well.
Oma, well done surviving tea out with MIL!
Lizzie, I'm sorry you felt so rottenI do so sympathise about the tree pollen. DD1 and I suffer. I have recently done few LFTs due to those symptoms, which could be covid! We both remember the same thing last year, but as we weren't having to test for a holiday weren't quite as anxious!
Daisy I am still often unsure of the day, and we can't blame Lockdowns now! I hope dog training goes well.
Aqua aerobics for me this morning. That is all I have planned, but I have a list to be getting through!
Better get on!

Daisy, I don't think it was with helping DS2, I took my tablets, no bother at all, but, our street is full of hazel? trees which are really blooming at the moment.
About the ironing, I need to do some as well. I have it hidden away!
Plant, the sleep will do you good, I know of so many people with the flu at the moment.

Good Morning everyone,I will probably be missing over the next few days as I am on my way soon to collect my friend who is coming to stay a few days.
We plan to go to West Kirby today Daisy for the better class of charity shopsmy friend has just phoned me from Hunts Cross station to say she is on her way and will call me when she gets the New Brighton train in Liverpool so I can pop down and pick her up.
I'll drop into Morrisons and collect some bits for watching TV tonight whilst we chat and catch up.
Enjoy the day xxx glamma xxxKeep Calm,You're Fabulous

Oh Plant, rest and take care. It could be covid which isn't testing positive but whatever it is you are right to cancel things and go to bed. Get well soon xxx
Glamma, I'm sure you will have a lovely few days with your friend
Gosh Oma! Just a bit of drizzle here.
We enjoyed our aqua class and a quick coffee.
My new Sketchers sandals have just arrived so I am going to try them on!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Plant and Lizzie, hope you both feel better soon.
Gem, are the new sandals ok?
It's been a good day today. Best thing was getting £20 a month off our broadband.
Not good weatherwise, had quite a bit of rain and its cold.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Nanto - well done on your broad band deal!
Plant - poor you. Yes, you're definitely better staying in bed and resting whether it's a heavy cold, flu or Covid. Take care of yourself, keep warm and lots of fluids. (Sorry, not really nagging, but too often we think we ought to just carry on as though nothing was wrong instead of listening to our bodies and resting.)
Gem - I hope your new sandals are just what you wanted, and nice and comfortable.
Glamm - have a lovely time with your friend. When we lived in Bromborough I had a friend who always insisted West Kirby was 'posh' and the label stuck.
Lizzie - you can't really escape the pollen if you have got the trees right outside. Does a mask help?
Oma - hailstones and snow - I bet Storm loves that, even if you're not so keen.
We've just got back from dog training. There were only two of us there today (I think everyone else has Covid!) so both dogs had to work really hard. Eva was all over the place at first, having missed two weeks and none of her usual doggy companions were there. Fast asleep now, not even pestering for dinner."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Went up to DD's yesterday. We did a course making a wreath with felt flowers last night. It was good fun and I'm pleased with the result but I was getting quite frustrated with my sticky fingers. They were sticking to everything except the felt!
GS had a Home school day as there are so many teachers off at his school. So he and I went out for lunch at a nearby garden centre. Freshly cooked fish and chips which were yummy. We had no room left for pudding!
Plant, I thought it was you sitting at a nearby table and I did think about going and saying hello. Just as well I didn't as I'd have been mistaken! I do hope you're feeling a bit better now after your sleep . Take it easy and get well soon.x
Had a phone call from the agents I'm buying from wondering if I had any news! He's been told all the searches are back, so I don't know what the hold up is. I'm sure my vendor is getting fed up with the wait as well.
Turned really cold here and raining, the heating is on and I'm going nowhere tonight!
Hope everyone has a good evening. Enjoy your catching up Glamm! xBelieve you can and you're halfway there.

Gem, it's a satisfying feeling when you get paperwork like your minutes finished off and despatched, isn't it. You must be on a count down now for Florida. x
WeeGranny - the wreath making course sounds lovely, but I know what you mean about things sticking to your fingers - gardening makes my hands very dry and rough, and I'm not goo at wearing gloves. I hope whoever is holding your house move gets a kick in the proverbial place to get on with it for everyone's sake.
Plant - I hope you sleep well and feel better tomorrow. Take care, dear. xx
