B is a bit sore so don't think we will be having Mince and Dumplings for tea , maybe soup instead

Dr said apart from a slight fatty liver and that was normal having Diabetes and my age so nothing to worry about there , everything else looked healthy and normal

Now have to wait till I have full bloods done on Monday see what that throws up ,

Gem do you feel better the day after Reflexology ?
My Brother used to get it and always said he felt better a day or so after rather than just after the treatment .

Plant nice to have a quiet pool to swim in I bet .

Lizzie nice to know the trainers wont let you do too much , how are the ribs today ?

GM I have heard a few people who had rewards for good reviews , My Great niece does food blogs and gets sent all kinds of stuff

Gem, I hope GS2 enjoys the video.

Oma, pleased your doctor didn't discover anything, was it from the scan? My ribs are improving thanks, only the sneezing and being in bed is painful! I do feel the pain now and again but nothing like it was.

We were supposed to be going to Holmfirth this morning.DS2 and his partner were going with us.
They cried off yesterday because it was forecast heavy rain today. Dry as a bone out there at the moment.
We weren't going for any particular reason, just for a change. October 23rd is penciled in now.
DS can't go on a week day because of work. 23rd is the next time his partner has a saturday off.
Probably just be supermarket shopping today now.

              Have a good day ladies.

                Good morning ladies.

It's a pity your trip to Holmfirth was cancelled Nan2, but something to look forward to.
How is B's mouth today Oma? So pleased all looked normal on your scan x

Today is packing day, and I am going to see my mum this afternoon. I will pop in to DD2's for a cuppa before I come home. I didn't see her yesterday as SIL picked up the children so we will have a quick catch up as I will be over there anyway.

We pick up the boat at 1.30 tomorrow. The forecast isnt too bad for those days.

                Happy Weekend everyone.

I think you will really enjoy the slow quiet pace of it all

We were both up during the night , B's mouth was throbbing so needed pain killers ,
Pain always feels worse lying down doesn't it

I have a red sticky eye this morning and its a bit itchy , I do have some steroid drops from a few weeks ago so I have put some in see if it helps

It is dry and calm out but very cold , we thinking of getting our big coats out , Autumn is truly here now ,

Enjoy your day ladies I will pop back xx

Good morning ladies. It's dry but dull here. Normal routine seems a bit frayed round the edges today. I haven't yet told OH that he left the french windows in the dining room open last night - not just unlocked, wide open! He'll be mortified because he always tells me I'm careless about locking up! A month's supply of frozen dog food is sitting on our front doorstep, waiting for OH to pick it up - I can't lift it as my arm and shoulder are still really painful. Even Eva didn't hear it arrive so early, but it's a new driver and is obviously doing the delivery route differently.

And it's now raining. Sorry I haven't read all your news from yesterday - I'll be back a bit later.

We had quite reasonable weather yesterday, today is overcast so far. No plans, might do some work on my Christmas table runner. I had intended to dust the sitting room yesterday but a phone call from GD1 changed that. GD needed to go to J. Lewis so asked me to go with her. Baby H was a star whilst we were out but got overtired and was upset when we got back, I left GD trying to pacify her. Sil and his brother are going to be doing the last of the clearing out of his mother’s house, the grand piano went yesterday. DD reminded him that nobody has checked the roof space.

Oma, sorry to hear B is having some pain, hope he doesn’t have the same problem as Gemini. Eyes are very precious, hope your sticky eye improves soon.

Daisy, not a good start to your morning, hope it gets better.

Gemini, I hope you find your mother in good spirits. Good luck for tomorrow with the weather.

Good morning, Nan2, you have something to look forward to.
It is dry here at the moment, rain forecast later. I am going to the material market in Delft, it is the first one in 2 years so I expect it will be busy, I will get there early before the crowds arrive. I want some material for cushion covers and some material to make a top for gym, I was going to buy one then decided I could make one. I have got the pattern ready.

DS1 phoned, GD2 has been home for 3 days, she has a brace and it broke, they went to get it fixed but it was tight and painful so she stayed home and did her school work from home, if it isn't any easier on Monday they will phone and go go back to get it adjusted.

I forgot to post this, I have been to the market and got what I went for, now to get the sewing done.

Oma, I hope B is feeling better now.

Daisy, I hope your shoulder soon gets better. Not very good leaving the doors wide open!

Daisy don't even try to lift the food when your shoulder is still sore you will do yourself no good ,
I admit I have left the patio doors unlocked before but never wide open ,
We do set the alarm every night but that's not possible when you have a dog who could set it off

Plant Baby H is such a darling but like all little ones they get over tired and play up , at least it wasn't when you were shopping
Yes lofts often get forgotten when clearing out or moving , its a case of out of sight out of mind isn't it xx

We went to B&M this morning and I did want to go get some winter pansies but I only had my summer jacket on and it is Freezing its only 7 degrees but feels like 4 ,
I need a bigger coat to go out to a garden centre , we will maybe go tomorrow when B feeling a little better too .

Lizzie when my GS had his brace it was the same very tight he tried all weekend but by the Monday he couldn't stand it anymore and had to go back ,

Hope you get the fabric you need

Well the rain did come. We were on our way home from the supermarket when it started.

Oma,hope B is in less pain today.
                            Daisy,take care with theshoulder.

I got the material, it matched the wallpaper but clashed like anything with the suite, so, I will stick to what I have and someone will be lucky at the second hand place. There was some lovely materials though and it was getting busy as I left.

DS1 came with GD2, they came on their bikes, it just started to rain as they set off to go home but not heavy. GD2 said the pain from the brace is healing now.

Lizzie - that's good that GD2 is feeling better. It must have been very uncomfortable. Are you planning your next visit to the textile market. What are you going to make next?

Oma - I do hope B is on the mend after having a tooth out. Did you have soup after all? How is that sticky eye? A big sigh of relief that the other tests were good. Fingers crossed for more good results from the blood tests on Monday.

Nanto - what a pity you didn't get your planned trip, but at least you still have it to look forward to.

Gem - how was your mum this afternoon? Has she recovered from her busy birthday? Have you done all your packing - lots of nice warm jumpers and socks! It sounds from your reflexology session that you are more than ready for a bit of a break. I hope you can relax and literally go with the flow. Are you on a canal or river, or a mixture?

Plant - baby H must have been tired, she's usually such a sunny little soul. Did the grand piano find a good home? It's sad clearing out a house, isn't it.

We've had torrential rain all day today. It started when I was posting this morning and everywhere is flooded. I took Eva out about 5 o'clock for a short walk and all the cattle grids were full of water - they are at least 10 inches deep. We lit the wood burner for the first time this autumn today, and I've done very little except laze in front of it watching tv or reading. But I think it's done my shoulder good to rest a bit, but my arm's still painful.
