Nothing planned for me, I refuse to do HWork when the sun is shining.

I'm just pottering today. Got towels out on the line and done a bit of tidying up.

Its very warm here again I have been dead heading the last of the surfinia's and will replant some autumn plants next week.
Gemini I do hope you enjoy the swim you are both so brave I couldn't do it although I do swim in the local bath's when I can.
On Monday I had my last eye injection all went well although I felt a wee bit off for the rest of the day and went to my bed by 8am as I felt completely washed out I did sleep until 6am though didn't even wake to trip off to the loo which was a major achievement, I go every 2 mths now so not too bad really.
I am off to the office which deals with local bus passes I only realised on Monday when I went to the hospital that my pass was out of date after the 13th Sept,I just have to fill in a form and they supply it straight away.

That's one lot of chemo done for this month. Thank goodness the other one's in tablet form. Went shopping whilst OH was in hospital. The Waitrose is being revamped so I spent alot of time going up and down aisles looking for stuff. Came out, got back to car and realised I'd forgotten the main thing I went in for!! Found it easily and got through basket check out really quickly. Girl on check out found it quite amusing. Sat outside waiting for OH to appear and when he didn't I went in to find he was sitting in Oncology waiting for me. Crossed wires with nurses. Still not eating and losing weight rapidly. Been referred to a dietician for some advice.

Very hot here. Have been out in garden the past two days clearing the bed in the middle, but couldn't face it today. Green bin full for collection on Friday then I can start refilling it. Our tip is still appointment only which is a bit of a faff.

Glamm, Mr D, hope your eyes aren't too bad now. Oma, hope your bloods don't show anything bad. Anyone else feeling under the weather, hope you feel better soon.

had e-mails from our surgery: only urgent blood tests, they've run out of bottles and no flu jabs until October, no vaccine!!!

WG at least tablet form doesn't mean your back to Hospital for a while, Poor man probable has no appetite , its so difficult finding things to tempt them xx

Bloods are for my Diabetes its being difficult to control now
We had the same problem with bottles too , I couldn't have my Diabetic bloods done a few weeks ago , but they got some in that's why I had them done yesterday .

We have our Flu jabs on Friday .

Been out for Tea feel a bit full now .

I was sat out on the balcony, I was going to bring the cushions in and a mouse was sat watching me!!!! He couldn't do much else as he was stuck in the wall. I got my neighbour to get rid of it but keep looking for more, I know they are in the flat again but don't want them in my house. Wee Granny, I hope all goes well with your OH, as for forgetting something in the supermarket, I often do that, go for one thing and come away with everything but that one thing. I read something about the vaccine for the flu jabs.

WG, I hope the chemo by tablet makes things a bit easier.
I am hoping to get a flu jab at our local pharmacy as I did last year, but no news on them yet.
I hope the mice stay away Lizzie!

Busy and hot at the library, but I had done all my work by three so left. I drove to my mums to put out her green garden waste bin and check the house, and called in Tesco on the way home for a couple of things.
OH got back just before 7.

WeeGranny - thank goodness the IV chemo is over. Hopefully the tablets will be a lot easier, and better tolerated. It's difficult for OH to eat if he has no appetite, but things might improve with the tablets.

Gem - enjoy your outdoor swim tomorrow. At first I thought you meant wild swimming, but it sounds like an outdoor pool. We've got seawater baths near us, and I really don't know why I've never tried it - I used to love swimming outdoors, especially if it was warm but raining!

OH's eye is feeling much better now. We sat in the wreck of our garden for a couple of hours this evening, with a bottle of wine and nibbles, and I think it did him good to get some fresh air.

Glamm, I'm so glad your eye injections are going well. As you say, once every two months isn't too bad. You've done very well with your flowers. xx

Daisy, I think wild swimming is a step to far for us
This is the same pool which DD2 and I took all 3 GC to a couple of weeks ago. OH and I decided to go once the schools went back. When I booked it there were no thunderstorms forecast

I'm glad your OH's eye is more comfortable. I'm sure a warm evening and wine in the garden helped
