Daisy, I am going to open the bird box in a day or so to see if there is anything in there. I fear he might have got the parents when they were flying in and out, we shall see. The sky is full of red kites at certain times of the day. It will not be long before you can cuddle your family.

Gemini, we have had three lovely cats before this one and they have been real softies. They even changed his food and no dreamies but made no difference, he is a real hunter and it is upsetting when he brings mice and shrews in from the woods. He will roll on his back for you think is a tummy tickle and if you are not careful he will grab your arm. We do love him though. Sounds as though you are almost ready to put your mother's house on the market, very emotional time.

I will pop back later, plumber just arrived.

Plant we had a cat when we were young who would let you rub his tummy for a few minutes then grab your arm and bite when he had enough
How is the shower coming on ?

Daisy has J got any more eye injections soon , seems a while since his last one ,
How's the face have you finished the cream , is it any less sore ?
      Any news on DS ?

Grauntie how you doing are you sleeping ok and eating ? Is OH still being a good nurse or has he had enough hahaha

Well I managed to get a Blouse in Matalan got home and I have picked up the wrong size , I couldn't get in a 12 even in my wildest dreams so that has to go back
Trouble is you can't try anything on so I would have noticed if I could have .

Before that we went to our shopping centre , we have a little sort of sub market inside its called The Village used to be called In shops ,
Anyway it was full of little shops selling stuff a bit like a indoor Market ,

We haven't been in since last March , We were shocked at most there were 6 shops open , the rest have cleared out and gave up even the two little cafe 's that were in there ,
So sad to see all these little shops close .

MIL wont be happy as there was a shop that sold electricals and for years I have bought her very skinny curling tongs from him , now I have no idea where she will get them if these ones break .

        Hello ladies.

Nan2 that is a lovely good morning. I appreciated it when I read it earlier on.
Plant and Daisy and Oma, I suppose you get weird cats, as you get weird people!!
It is very emotional selling mum's house, the only family home I remember as we moved when I was 3, and we are the only people to ever live there. 64 years of memories to sort through.
We'd love to see GDs painting Daisy.

Apologies for my late 'Good Morning!'
I was awake until gone 4, and gave in and came downstairs and took Co Codamol, when I did get some sleep (I now have a painful red gum with boil or something above where the tooth was removed) I have just penned another email to the dentists about my ongoing woes.
Anyway I was tired and woozy from the tablets, then my reflexologist was coming at 10.30. I have had my treatment and feel more normal again!
Friends C and P are coming round this afternoon . Although sunny I fear it is much too windy for the garden, so it will be conservatory with bi folding doors to dining room open.
        Quiz tonight.

        Have a good Monday everyone.

Poor you Gem, my neighbour is suffering as well, he is phoning the dentist this afternoon. He was awake most of the night. It will be sad for you sorting through your mums house.xxxx

I had a lovely meal at DS2 it was even warm and dry enough to eat outdoors.

I wrote about the neighbour with her new E bike, I told her I wasn't interfering but it was just advice, she understands but her son isn't too pleased, he said I made him look like a fool, I can't see why, it was about his mothers safety and not about him. I mentioned it to DS2 and asked what he would have done in the situation, he said " accept the advise"!! When I went out yesterday I saw her on a new bike, lovely low frame, I just met her down in the hall and she said it is one to see if she likes it. The shop arranged it, her son was waiting for her yesterday so I didn't say much, she said she loves the frame but has go get used to the gears etc as it seems to " spring" forward at times. Her son told her that was usual for an Ebike, no, I said I would go for a ride with her and see what it was, the motor needs adjustment, a friend downstairs has the same model as I have and he told me it just sprung forward at times so they adjusted the motor and it was back to normal. I went along cycle paths with her and she is very confident for 82 years old, really relaxed whilst cycling, just the motor that needs adjusting, when she gets the new one she ordered it will be fine. She said she will go again tomorrow so I told her if I am home I will go with her. She was pleased I told her about the motor as she thought they were all like that.

DS1 is coming for coffee anytime.

Wow, some dramatic weather around the country today. We're getting sun and cloud, but also a strong wind gusting hard as well.

I've been out in the garden emptying the pots of spring bulbs. Some of them had been in situ for 3 or 4 years, so definitely in need to some TLC. In the end though I had to come in. The wind was blowing things around and it kept blowing my hair into my face as well as dust. It was making my sore nose even worse. Time to retreat indoors!

Oma - thanks for asking - my face isn't a pretty sight! The crater has almost healed up but the area where I've used the Efudix is swollen, lumpy, red, crusty, itchy and sore! But there are little bits round the edges which have started to heal.

OH has a hospital appointment on the 20th. No news on my DS really. He's continuing with the clinical trial, but too soon yet to know how it's going. He's keeping busy and trying to ignore some pesky side effects, bless him.

Oma - it's so easy to pick up the wrong size item - especially if they are also on the wrong hangar. My pet hate! It's a good job you don't have to go far to change it.

Lizzie - your neighbour it so lucky to have you on hand to help with her e-bike. It sounds as though her son is more interested in bossing her around than helping her choose the right bike. Good for her at 82 getting her first e-bike. I hope you share lots of fun outings with her. xx

Gem - I do hope the dentist can get this sorted out for you quickly. You really can't carry on with it until the end of June. I'm glad the reflexology helped a bit, but you need your sleep and if it's keeping you awake it's just going to make you feel worse. Plus the anxiety and emotion over your mum's house. I hope C and P help to keep your mind off it for a while. Enjoy tonight's quiz.

Plant - I didn't see what happened, but we've had a fatality by the bird table this morning. Just a few black feathers blowing around, and the other birds have disappeared, not even eating the food that was out for them.

Daisy, I hope the owner of the feathers got away to live another day.

Gemini, I hope you get an appt. soon with the dentist, you poor thing having all that trouble after an extraction.

Lizzie, 82 and just buying an electric bike, your neighbour is very adventurous.

Are you looking forward to hugging again and being able to have family and friends inside.

Plumber finished the shower, looks good. I will think about the floor when I have used the shower for a bIt. He is coming back tomorrow just to clear up.

I am in my sunroom, the wind is so strong I feel I might take off.

I didn’t. Explain it all, the neighbor has had an electric bike for 12 years, in fact the first in the flat, she does ride it but needs a new one.

Lizzie, your neighbour must be fit. I'm sure she is glad of your help and advice.
Daisy it is slow going for your poor face, but from what others here have said it is normal. You will get there xx
I hope you didn't get blown away Plant!

We had a storm this afternoon too! Luckily we were in the conservatory or we would have got very wet. The noise was deafening in there.
We had a nice afternoon with our friends.
I laid it on thick when the dentists phoned me back so I have an appointment on Wednesday. I hope she takes the tooth out! The swelling (I sent a close up photo!) is probably caused by a sliver of bone trying to push its way out. This makes sense as a week ago I suddenly felt something very sharp on the gum and gently pulled out something very white and slim and sharp. I thought it was bit of tooth but the nurse assured me it would have been a piece of bone and there is presumably another trying to get out.

Daisy, hope yor face feels/looks better soon.
Hope OH's hospital appointment goes well on the 20th.

Hubby was making us a cuppa this afternoon, the following conversation took place.
                            Hubby, where are the teabags?
Me, in the cupboard, but the caddy doesn't need filling up, i did it this morning.
Hubby, its the caddy i'm looking for.
Me, its where it always is,next to the coffee and sugar caddies.
                            Hubby, no it isn't.
After having a good look round the kitchen, i spotted on a shelf where it doesn't belong.
I think this confirmed to hubby that i'm losing it.

Plant - I think it's more likely the owner of the feathers didn't have any more need of them, unfortunately. You sound pleased with the new shower. Are you treating yourself to new towels as well?

Lizzie - your neighbour it still doing well if she started e-cycling at around 70. Good for her.

We've escaped the storms, but it's still unseasonably cold. At least the days are longer.

Gem - I'm so glad you've got an appointment for Wednesday. It's like a horror story with pain, dry sockets, swellings, gum boils, and now bits of bone. You must be really fed up and worn out with it.

Oma - I'd have left the washing to its fate as well.

Nanto - I had to laugh (sorry) but it's a good idea to keep OH on his mettle, hunting for familiar things in unfamiliar places. I don't suppose he thought that, though. If you're losing it, then so am I. I was making a pot of tea the other day and took the mugs out of the cupboard, but for some reason left the door open. Then I got the milk out of the fridge, put it into the mugs and then went to put the bottle back - in the cupboard!! It didn't fit, so then I realised I'd got it a bit wrong.

Sun is shining, but the forecast is for another day of sunshine and showers.

Daisy,so glad it wasn't just me putting things in the wrong place.

Plant, the shower sounds nice now. Are you pleased with it?

Salads have been plated up and are in the fridge. Just some fish nuggets to cook later.
