Oma - a week is still a long time to wait to to speak to your doctor when you're feeling so poorly. I hope Enfy's suggestion helps in the meantime.
WeeGranny - everything happens at once, doesn't it. Your poor OH will be worn out with everything happening on Thursday so I hope they give you an alternative appointment for his rash soon. Congratulations on both buying and selling houses. Plant had better get the coffee on!
Mimi - I know elderly cats can get dementia and it must be very upsetting to see your much-loved kitty feeling confused. Slightly off-topic, but I wonder if she takes anything for her arthritis. If she's in pain with it that could make her behave differently. I know a lot of people swear by YuMove joint supplements for their dogs and they do a cat version too. All to the good if it makes her more comfortable.
Lizzie - you weren't very hopeful for your old locker were you. I hope the one you're using lasts a long long time.
Plant - how did the Warfarin check go this morning?
Gem - I hope you were able to cross a few more jobs of the To-Do list at your mum's. It's hard looking after two houses. xx
I've done some washing and given the kitchen and cloakroom floors a jolly good clean, despite Eva wanting to sit on my feet while I was doing it!

Mimi I do the same with ours , I hold it over the drain and the hose blasts so much out , you don't realise how much fluff and muck gets in them.
I always know when mine needs doing as it takes longer to dry and doesn't get so hot .
Another phone call from Dr, My Bloods back from yesterday and still showing something wrong , have to take another water sample in as soon as I can to rule something out .
SIL just picked Storm up its been a nice day today , he has spent all day in the garden .
Lizzie shame about the machine but if its going to cost a lot to get it going its not worth it is it .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Hopefully they will get to the bottom of it Oma. Take care.
Do you remember my mum's white cell count being high when she was in hospital? They treated it with antibiotics but never found out what caused it.
We got a few more things done at mum's Daisy thanks. OH's plan to take stuff to the tip came to nothing though, as I suddenly remembered they are closed on Wednesdays!
We spent the morning in the garden here doing various things. After lunch we went to mums for a couple of hours. Came back for a cup of tea then I gave OH some reflexology.
We are treating ourselves to an Indian takeaway tonight so no cooking for either of us“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Perhaps the problem is what is causing your vertigo Oma. I hope you manage to keep Storm out of your new borders.
My Warfarin check went okay, they are wanting me to go every 2/3 weeks as my INR is a bit up and down. I don't mind, it is an outing on the calendar.
Spent some time with the 3 GGC this afternoon, baby H is growing so fast and is such a smiler. Her mother is missing the company, she was feeling a bit down on Monday, problem is she has no other mothers to mix with so she is on her own in a smallish flat most of the time. It isn't easy to pop in to see her as visitors parking is very limited around the estate and you need a vistors ticket if you can find one. Once she can get out and join in mother's groups it will be easier.

Not much been happening here today
Hubby was out walking with his pal this morning.
I cleaned some windows,,did the ironing, made a lamb dinner and just pottered.
Oma,hope the DR can get you sorted out.
I got a text message just over an hour ago,to make an appointment for my 2nd jab.
Rang the number they gave me,but kept getting the engaged tone.
Will ring again in the morning.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Nanto - pleased to hear your second jab it on its way.
Plant - it must be very lonely for a lot of first-time mums at the moment. I hope your GD soon gets to meet some other new families. I don't understand why planners encourage development to have such poor access for visitor parking. The excuse always seems to be they are discouraging car use and encouraging other, greener forms of transport, but it doesn't work like that for a lot of people for all sorts of reasons.
Gem - you have had a busy and productive day. What a good job you remembered the tip was closed before you drove over there.
Oma - I hope the doctor can get things sorted out for you. Perhaps it's some kind of infection, and Plant is right about it causing the vertigo.
Neither OH or felt very hungry this evening so I just made scrambled egg on toast- not quite a night off, but quick and easy.

Good morning Nanto and everyone else who drops by. I like the graphic - Friday was such a welcome day at the end of a busy working week.
It's Cooper day for us, but I've already been busy - stripped the spare beds in my study and put them in for a wash. They just seem to need a freshen up - there certainly haven't been any GCs occupying them for such a long time.
Also sorted out dog for for portioning up, and a few other odd jobs. I might even do the ironing later!
I hope everyone is ok. Another day closer to the end of lockdown.

Good morning Nan2, Daisy and all who come here today.
Bright here too Nan2 and seems chilly at the moment anyway.
Our spare rooms have certainly been fairly redundant this past year haven't they Daisy?
This morning OH has her hospital video appointment then is going to the old couple she does occasional gardening for. I think this is just to sprinkle lawn feed.
I have no plans, will go with the flow today

Up at some unearthly hour to get OH to hospital for 6.45 am!!! you had to wait outside the unit until your name was called, then you were questioned and checked before you were allowed into the unit. So I left him in the care of the nurse and now wait to hear when I can collect him. began to think they'd forgotten him because most people had been called, then she came out with another list and he was on it! I assume it was in order of going to theatre or which surgeon you were seeing. Treated myself to a croissant from the baker's and have just had that with jam and a cup of tea.
Going to make a real effort to get some things done today without OH saying " I'll think about it, but can we keep it for the time being". At that rate we'd never get anything thrown out! Looking forward to when the charity shops re-open, I think there might be quite a lot of stuff going there rather than the tip.
Beautiful sunny morning here, but it was a bit chilly earlier on. Have a good day ladies and hope all those feeling under the weather soon feel better xBelieve you can and you're halfway there.

I have a hospital appt this afternoon to take a recording from the device that I have in my chest which is to record how and when I have an atrial fibrillation attack. They tell me it will run out soon but they do not remove it unless I want it removed. It is so tiny and it doesn't bother me. I have ordered an outfit for baby H from M&S, I will collect that from the food hall on my way there, I would drop it around to GD if I thought I could get a parking space. I think we shall see her at the weekend as her partner is working.
Hope everything went well for your OH WG. I expect you are thinking about what you need and do not need in your new home. I am very curious to know where you are moving to, 20mins from me you say, is that in a car or walking.
I hope your OH's video appt. goes okay Gemini.
I will pop in later, need to get a shift on now. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
