Goodness Daisy, what a busy day. I have been a bit lazy today, found it quite chilly out. Had a walk around the garden but soon came indoors and did some knitting. I did go to the post office earlier and posted a parcel to my sister containing a banana cake, I hope it arrives in tact and edible.

I read yesterday of two 12 year old girls in Scotland that travelled to Glasgow after school and fell asleep on the train home, they woke the next morning, still in the train, the parents couldn't contact them and had no idea where they were. The phone batteries were both empty.

GD2 is the same age, I can't see here walking through a city with a friend of the same age. DS1 phoned last night, GD2 goes to football training twice a week, she goes on her own then someone goes to meet her at 7pm. Last night it was GD2 that did that. They always like to know where they both are, they are both very sensible, no problems there.

Yes, Glamma, what an awful accident. I rode a motor bike and you have to be so careful all the time.

It was cold here yesterday, it is this morning but should get warmer later on. I have been to the Lidl.

            Good morning all.

Nan2, I am so glad we didn't know what a long ride we were in for when we went into that first lockdown.
I hope your sister's cake arrives in good condition Plant!
Fingers crossed something positive comes for your son's appointment Daisy.

This morning I am going out to buy salad and vegetables. OH is walking with 3 friends, in pairs.
School run for GS1 this afternoon.

Sort of nothing weather here, no sun, no wind, no rain. I am going to be changing bed linen later and putting the washing machine on. I am almost out of veg. so I might go visit the farm shop as the next few days I am going to be busy, Warfarin check, hospital visit, and hearing test, very deaf atm.

              Will look in again later.

                  Good morning to everyone.

Its dull and a bit grey here. We passed DS1 and DIL on the doorstep. Eva dived into the house and chased their poor little kitty outside. It was chaos for a few minutes. Peace restored and both dogs are now curled up on the hearth and the cat is safely out of the way! The plumber is busy on the central heating and Iโ€™ve got time to sit down with a coffee! We were surprised at how busy the roads were, especially the motorways at 7 am!

Plant, Iโ€™m sure the cake will be fine. You are going to be busy for a few days - take care.

Gem, your OH will have a lot to chat about with her golf pals after such a long time.

You wonder how people can be left on trains like those two girls, but it happened to my OH and a friend. They were commuting to London every day, and one night they caught the last train after a night out and both dozed off. They woke up to what they thought was torrential rain, then realised it was soapy. They were in the washing sheds! ๐Ÿ˜จ

                  Nanto, dinner sounds delicious. ๐Ÿ‘

Oh dear Daisy, so falling asleep on the train does happen!

Lizzie, it certainly does. I remember OH saying that some commuters would hold a sign saying which station they wanted to get off and other passengers would wake them up. In 4 years of commuting OH only ended up In Portsmouth once and he just got on a train back to Surrey. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Good morning, dull and overcast here. No real plans, so am having a tidy round before my mate Dexter gets here. I keep finding toys in the most unexpected places! I swear he hides them on purpose.

My doctor rang earlier, we had a good chat and he has increased one of my BP meds slightly. I have to monitor my BP for a couple of weeks and let him have the readings. Fingers crossed it works. I also had bloods taken yesterday and he will let me know if anything is amiss, so if I donโ€™t hear all is well.

My knee is playing up this morning so I am not doing my usual walk, donโ€™t want to aggravate it. A good excuse to sit and knit! Iโ€™ll be out in the garden with Dex later so will get some exercise, heโ€™s good at ball chasing.

Have a good day everyone.....oh, the suns just come out, lovely ๐ŸŒž

Enfys enjoy playing with Dexter, I sometimes wish I could borrow a dog. Sun out, no wind, I have just been for quite a long walk, well for me it was. I am now going to sit and knit. Looks inviting in the garden but not a lot I can do.

Been for my Bloods today and spoke to receptionist about speaking to the Dr as I have had a bad time for weeks now with Vertigo ,

I feel slightly woozy all the time and can feel pressure in my right ear , but if I Blow my nose or sneeze hard I end up lying on the floor for between 5-20 minutes .
The Vertigo is so bad it starts spinning then its like a plane Banking sideways and I feel even sitting on the chair that im falling , its really horrible and knocks me so sick

Anyway I cant speak to a Dr for two weeks as they are fully booked so just have to put up with it .

Oh that's terrible that you have to wait that long Ona. It sounds like an inner ear problem maybe.

Dull day here. No sun and cool but not cold.
GS got to hold the lead of a puppy belonging to a girl in his class as we went down the road. He was so happy. He wants a dog more than anything.
