What an interesting project Enfys. Daisy, when I post it posts but takes me out so I have to log in again but my post is there. Don't worry yourself, I will get GS1 or my son to sort it but it is difficult with lockdown. I can use my Ipad, just prefer the keyboard on my computer. When I post this I will be logged out and have to come in again. I feel it might be something simple.

        Oma, warm croissants sound scrummy.
Yes, the in laws were in good spirits yesterday.
Sun is shining like a good un here. Cuppa time soon.
We are having it in the garden, its a little sun trap at the bottom of the garden.

That sounds a very interesting project Enfys.
DD and I spent 3 hours walking and sitting and chatting in the sun! I had only put 3 hours on my car so was half an hour past the time once I got back to it, but no ticket
It was so warm we took our coats off and wished we had brought sunscreen. She brought me a rhubarb and custard Danish which was yummy!

Gem - what a lovely time you and your DD3 have had. Doesn't the sunshine make a difference. We walked round to some friends to drop off a parcel and stood and chatted for quite a while and the sun was lovely. We didn't get
rhubarb and custard Danish pastries though!!

Nanto - it's lovely to have a little sun trap like that. It's something we miss in our current garden!

Oma - beware. She might just surprise you one early morning.

Plant - I think getting logged out like that is something simple - do let me know what your GS1/DS say about it, please.

                Evening All,
Everyone seems happy now the sun is shining and that includes me!
Plant, the roses I bought are ‘Fragrant Delight’. They went under the study window and ‘Choisya Aztec Pearl’ went under the bedroom window. Both fragrant.
Gem, I’ve not had a rhubarb and custard Danish, it sounds right up my street. I’m only sorry poor Daisy didn’t get offered one when she visited her friends!
Oma, what time do you get up? I know you don’t sleep well, but so early? Mind you, it’s worth it to avoid the DD and a ticking off.
Enfys, your project sounds brilliant. Please do post a pic.
Nanto2, your sun trap sounds a good place to enjoy a cuppa and anything else, a good book maybe? 😁
I’ve had a day of pottering in the garden, some of which was strenuous stuff but good old OH has cooked dinner.
                Have a pleasant evening all.

Grauntie - doesn't a bit of sunshine make a difference! Your roses sound beautiful. I'm in the camp that thinks if a rose isn't fragrant it isn't really a rose at all! I'll make for for the absence of a rhubarb and custard Danish at some point, I'm sure. We did have a wee dram though (Socially distanced) to toast a Scottish friend who has recently passed away.

If we are lucky enough to have another sunny day tomorrow I shall do some gardening.

My big news for today was I dried some washing out on the line - bedding and a couple of pairs of jeans. It's amazing what brings pleasure in lockdown, isn't it!

A frosty start again, but the sun is out.

Towels are in the washer.Hoping to get all my inside jobs,as we are planning on doing some gardening after dinner.

Have a good and safe day ladies.

Off for my 4th cuppa of the day. Had 1 tea and 2 coffee's already.

Good Sunday morning Nanto, and all who drop by later. It's the same here - overnight frost, but the sun's shining and it's warming up a bit.

I need to do a load of towels today - it's surprising how quickly they mount up.

OH is getting geared up to cut up part of an oak tree a neighbour had to have felled. His chain saw hasn't seen light of day through lockdown, so I hope it works ok. He's meticulous about using all the right safety gear so I try not to worry!

I hope the sun is shining for everyone today. xx

                        Morning ladies ,
Its a day for washing towels , I have just put a load in , I waited till we had both had our showers this morning then put them all in together .

The sun is out and very calm no breeze ,

Did anyone notice the Moon last night ? It was huge and very bright , I wonder if it was a super moon .

I thought my neighbour had a very bright spotlight in their bedroom as the window was glowing , went to our window to have a better look and realised it was the moon reflecting off the windows , so bright .

Not much to do today B been making mini Picnic tables for the bird seed for the fence for us and DD so she may pop in for hers .

Daisy im sure J will be fine
Grauntie we are very early risers even when I haven't slept much , I think its a habit you get into

Good morning, lovely here now but very misty earlier on. I had a bike ride yesterday for my eggs etc then GD1 phoned and asked if I was going for a ride with her, I enjoy that, so off I went again, it was getting colder when I got home but we enjoyed the ride.

I am sorting papers out ready for the tax forms to be filled in. It hardly seems a year ago that they were done! I have also cancelled my yearly holiday insurance, I hardly go on holiday anyway, if I do get to the UK I will take a cover for a few days. This one wasn't expensive but it is being taken over and will cost more, it wouldn't be so bad if I was always needing it but as it is I won't be.

Daisy, you will worry about OH using the chain saw.

Oma - it was the full moon the night before last (27th). It's called the Snow Moon. A supermoon is when the full moon happens when the moon and earth are at their closest. There's some kind of formula to calculate this, which I never understood, but the supermoons for this year are 27 April, 26 May and 24 June, with the May one being the closest. I started to take an interest in the moon activities when I was trying to take photos, but I quickly found out I don't have the right kit or the right level of patience or skill. But I still find it interesting, and I like each month's moon having a name - January was Wolf moon.

                              Good morning ladies all.

You are so right Grauntie the sun makes us all feel so much better. DD3 and I said that when we were out.
Four drinks by 7.50 am Nan2, you wont be dehydrated
Daisy I'm sure OH will be fine, but I would, worry just like you!
Oma, OH commented on the moon last night when she came to bed and I was still reading.
Still really misty here Lizzie, I can hardly see the houses opposite! You are getting plenty of cycling in

My back pain was worse then usual, this morning so I decide rather than lie reading in bed I would read in the bath. I had lovely long soak and feel better for it.
I have to rebook our canal boat trip and do a couple of banking things. Apart from that no plans here today, we will go with the flow!

Have a good Sunday everyone. Last day of February, Spring is coming!

Had a nice visit to GD's, baby H had grown in just over one week, she is definitely smiling now. GD and I went off to Waitrose, GD finds if difficult to get out in the car with GGD, due to the parking of the car, they have a dedicated parking space but it is a tight space. DD and Sil stayed with baby H and I went shopping with GD. Like old times. We had to rush back before the rugby match started. Lovely day again so I will put some old clothes on and get out in the garden. Gemini, I hope the back pain eases, take care. Daisy, chain saws always worry me, we had some very tall conifers removed recently and I couldn't watch the man up the tree with his chainsaw. What will J use the wood for? Lizzie, you must be very fit with all your cycling.
