Well done to your GS Oma

OH has brought a nice pumpkin back. It is in the garage now.
Considering they thought that red and yellow food colouring would be a suitable replacement for the black and orange I ordered this week, they would probably send a mango in place of a pumpkin!!

Well we are now in tier3.

Been dark most of the day, with the odd bit of drizzle.

Well done Lizzie for selling the toys. i can remember the Furbys. A worrying time about your sister.

Gem, enjoy the writing and zooming, and the pumkin carving.

Why would they send a child to school, when someone in the family has tested positive?

Oma, hope B is ok after his dental treatment.
        Well done GS1.

Plant, how lovely to have those cuddles with the children.

Nan2, I hope you don't remain in Tier 3 for too long. I wish all the rates would come down so we can get on with life.

The Zoom meeting went well. It was nice to see them all. Apart from one lady who had her volunteer induction the same day as me I haven't seen any of them since February.
OH and I went to buy golf shoes after the meeting. We had to drive about 25 miles but it was worth it as she got some very nice ones, guaranteed waterproof for a year. No more wet feet!
As we drove back into the village it was very black and only 4.30. I remarked to OH that there would be a storm. Less than five minutes after we got in the heavens opened. Anyone out in it woudl have been drenched. Now all is calm and beautiful pink and golden sky.

              Good morning.
Considering the tough time a couple of our members are going through,it doesn't seem appropiate to post a jolly graphic.

              Its a bright morning here.

                  Bright here too Nan2.
                  Nice to see you Mimi.
I'm glad you are going to talk to the doctor about your arm Oma. Leaving your handbag again! I bet you were relieved to see it.

A free day for me today, golf for OH.

There is so much sadness about in the world generally and here on our forum.
We need to be here and support each other. Take care everyone.

Me too WG, I have been wondering how your Sil is WG?

Hope the doctor can refer you to someone who can help with your painful arm Oma.

                      Good morning to you Nanto.

Dry atm so I am going to defrost the freezer in the garage, not an easy job. I made some sweet pastry yesterday so now have to decide what to make. Jam tarts to use up some of my plum jam seems a good idea, I am sure the GGC will love those. Must go and turn off the freezer and empty it.

                          Perhaps FQ deleted by mistake?

Clouding over a bit here, but I think the washing will dry on the line.

I had big surprise this morning upon opening my fridge with the intention of cleaning it ready for Tesco delivery tomorrow.... a big spider was sat on one of the shelves!

We had a power cut last night . I wrapped OH up in a fleece as he gets cold very easy these days. We sat on the sofa for a while but as it was only 9pm and the latest update from our electricity supplier was a predicted time it would be back on at 11pm I decided to heat up some water in a saucepan so that I could at least have a wash of some sort. So off I went with saucepan in one hand and torch in the other and into the bathroom I went.
After I had finished, py's and dressing gown on I opened the bathroom door just as the power came back on. Wonder timing!

Oma how is your SiL grandad. Hope the phone call from your dr is beneficial to you.

Good job that wasn't Oma who found the spider in her fridge, she would have been out the front door and down the road. How did you deal with it Mimi?

Hello ladies. I’ve got such a lot to catch up on, but I’d just like to say to Mimi how glad I am to see her pop up on here. Sanding love, Mimi.

I haven’t kept up with the various lock down dictates this week, but it sound as though a lot of you are confined to barracks, or whatever the system is. Something else I must catch up on once we’re back home!

                                chat later.
