Thank you Nan and Oma absolutely no point at all😅. It was a horrible shock - especially when I heard the crack of my head. My neck is stiff as is my lower back, but it won’t stop me enjoying a glass of fizz with my lot later. I have every sympathy with people suffering whiplash injuries- it must be horrendous. My darling eldest granddaughter has bought me a ‘magic healing’ crystal🤩 xx

Gem - I'm so sorry your mum is still waiting. She will have been Nil by Mouth though, so no wonder she's distressed and confused with nothing to eat or drink. I hope they make a decision soon. xx

Grauntie and FairyQueen - what you you both like! Grauntie, explain to your OH that you will need waiting on hand and foot for as long as it takes to go better. Show him where the iron is, and the yellow fluffy things and the sucky up thingy. I'm sure he'll work out how to use them, and emphasise the novelty value plus, unless of course he's already an expert. Plus of course you've got to take account of the disappointment of not winning the treasure hunt which you were in line for. Seriously, rest and get better soon. FairyQueen, the noise of banging your head must have been horrible. Have you had a check up? Well done for still partying today - atta girl.

When my OH got a whiplash injury in a car shunt the pain got worse over a few days and he had to have medical treatment, so if your neck is still painful (or heaven forbid, worse) do get it checked out. xx

Ladies having trouble with Specsavers - most of them are independent franchises, so if you want to stay with the brand, just changing branches might be worth trying.

I stopped going to an independent optician when they kept trying to give me a hard sell on super expensive frames for glasses I only wanted for watching tv. They got quite shirty with me.

FQ, that crack on the head sounds nasty. You’re right, it shakes you up doesn’t it? Enjoy your evening. I think you should have a medicinal glass or two of fizz. 😁

Please all try not to fall and break or bump anything tomorrow.

Good morning everyone. A fine one here.
A go with the flow day for me, golf for OH.
DD2 is visiting mum today. If she didn't have her op yesterday which I presume she didn't, that will depend on her not being in surgery at the visiting time.

First day back at school for both GD and GS1. Strange for them both, especially GS who hasn't been to school at all since before lockdown.
Tuesday is my day to collect him, but DD wanted to be there on his first day. I will do it on Thursday.

Have a good Tuesday everyone. I hope Grauntie and Fairyqueen are not in too much pain this morning.

Good morning ladies. Hope everyone is well. It’s drizzling and damp here in Manchester, but fairly mild. I am feeling better this morning and thank you all for your concerns. GM I hope you are feeling better and that your Husband is still fussing over you. Milk it for as long as possible girl! Gemini, will wait for an update on your Mum. I did have a couple of glasses of medicinal fizz so it DOES work - I can recommend it . Plus two little fairies running wild to take my mind off my aches and pains😅! I’ll try to stay upright today!Have a lovely day all.

Dull here, I think we are forecast a good weeks weather, so perhaps the sun will put in an appearance later. I am going to have coffee at a friend's house with 3 other Guiding friends. I am quite excited. My aqua teacher is trying to resume some sort of an aqua return. There will be toilets open but no changing room so we will have to keep out wet costumes on to drive home. They can only cater for 20 and she is suggesting just half an hour, several have replied they are willing to give it a go. I am going to see if I can find a tracksuit to put on over my costume. I need the exercise. No news of the sex of expected GGC but everything okay.

Gem I hope your mother is well enough to have the operation so that you can get back to visiting her. I hope the GC feel happy about returning to school.

I hope that Grauntie and Fairy Queen are feeling okay today.

I need to get a shift on so will check in later
