    Good morning everyone.

    Sunny here too Daisy.
    Lamb is my favourite Nan2.
I heard about the earthquake too Plant. I'm glad you had a nice time with your friends yesterday.
Oma, I did have an earlyish night and actually slept surprisingly well.

Thanks for the good wishes for mum. I will phone the hospital in a while.
Tesco delivery here this morning, then a reflexology treatment for me. I will hope to book a visit to my mum this afternoon. You can only book them on the day.
We also need to go and buy a new telly.

    Have a good day everyone.

Gem - the sleep will have done you good. You must have been exhausted. Let us know what the news is from the hospital, won't you?

Good luck with the telly hunting - I wouldn't know where to start.

        Morning ladies ,
I did my housework downstairs during night so not much to do this mornig apart from run the hoover around ,
Need to hoover upstairs but im too tired at the moment so will leave it till later .

Been to Aldi and was going to go for my sunglasses from Specsavers but again cant be bothered ,

Gem glad you slept well hope your Mum had a good night xxx

The sun is out again and its not bad at all out there ,
Im sitting having a cup of tea pottering on here now and watching the Gardener doing the hedges across the road , he has two big ladders with a plank across them so he can do the tops without having to keep moving the ladders along , My neighbour gets him out every year and keeps them very neat .

Really need to move myself but i think it will be one of those tired days .

Im not fat just 6ft too small

You and I could have had a chat in the night Oma, so unusual for me to have a wakeful night. I didn't do any housework though. I have a bit of housework to do and then baring any interruptions I will have a go at making the lemon curd. It is lovely and sunny again so I might prefer to be outside.

Gemini, I hope you get an appt. to see your mum later. I have just replaced my television and Sil has just bought a new one for the cabin. I went for a Bush (recommended by DS) Sil prefers Panasonic, no help there. Mine was an offer from JLewis. Wonder why yours blew up?

Daisy, Cooper is a very handsome dog. Good luck with the painting choice.

Daisy your dog is gorgeous! I presume that’s your grandchildren in the background? A lovely picture. My old girl is called Bella. Dachshunds are very hard to train (well, mine is) 😳😳Dachshunds are also very free thinking and she doesn’t do anything she doesn’t want to do!! She is ok with my grand daughters but doesn’t understand why they get more attention than her given that she was here first 😅

Good Morning all. It is sunny and warm here in Manchester (yay!) I will do some jobs today that I didn’t do yesterday as I am feeling better. Have a great day everyone. Grauntie hope you are improving and getting better. X

Gemini- hope your Mum is feeling better and rested after a nights sleep. 💐

Good to know you are back on form FQ.
Our TV was old Plant, it was time it blew up! I have wanted a bigger screen for ages but OH was reluctant to replace it as it was working.
Maybe you need a lazy day today Oma.
Daisy we helped my auntie buy a new TV a couple of years ago so have had practice!

I'm going to see Mum at 2pm. She was asleep when I phoned this morning but had pulled out her catheter (I didn't find out if it was back in again)
I'll update again later. Thanks for the good wishes everyone.

Gems hoping things are sorted with your darling mum today and she had a good night.
I have just had to shampoo Poppy she only went to the doggy parlour last Monday and yesterday she found something smelly when we went to the beach she was only on the sand dunes for a couple of minutes I don't know what she found it wasn't a bird or anything like that but it was smelly to say the least, she is now sitting out in the sun sulking whilst she dries off, next job is to brush her not looking forward to that its a good job she has had a hair cut.I think I may need a lie down this afternoon.

Glamm - I'm sure Poppy thought her new perfume was just perfect! I hope the brushing goes ok for both of you.

Ladies, ladies - everybody seems to be having sleepless nights! I think I'll have to come round with a very large dose of brandy this evening. Just for medicinal purposes of course.

Fairy Queen - the dog in the picture is Cooper - DS1's loony loloppy lump. Yes, GDs are in the background. I'll put one up of Eva on Oma's pet thread later. Bella sounds a little character. There was a long haired dachshund in the beginner's class Eva and I went to. He was just the same - gorgeous little fellow but very independent of mind! His poor mum despaired, but he was so loveable.

Nanto - I've got dog towels on the line, but the breeze has dropped now and they're just hanging there, but bedding, tea towels etc dried this morning.

Gem - I do hope your mum is awake when you visit her. Good luck with the telly hunting. Did you feel better for the reflexology treatment?

Oma - that sounds like a big job on the neighbour's hedge! Nice to watch people work though, isn't it. I hope you're taking it easy today.

Plant - I hope you're having a day off today and relaxing in the garden. The lemons will keep. x

Poppy obviously preferred the perfume found on the beach Glamm

My DD and Sil lost their beautiful Retriever some years ago she was very old and now they are considering another Retriever but to get one as well bred as their lovely Amber, they would have to pay about 4 to 5 thousand pounds. They sold her 5 puppies for £500.

                            Looking a bit threatening outside.

There are a lot of comments on our local website about the situation at our doctors, I hope they are going to take note.

Daisy, it has got quite breezy now,but sun is shining.

                              Gardening done,so i've just had a shower.
My batteries always feel charged again after a shower.

Plant, what a lot of money for a dog, I hope they find one though. A friend of mine had a Retriever, a lovely dog.

Glamm, I had a dog and whilst walking through the woods with him he decided to roll in the wet and dirty, wet rubbish that the men had taken out of the dykes, oh dear, did he smell!!!
