    Good morning everyone.

Nice to see Mickey looking so cheery when no one can visit him Nan2. He is in lockdown too
Daisy, it must be strange for your son. I think we all have days at the moment when we can't be bothered. Yesterday was bit like that for us too, although OH did request reflexology, so I was active for an hour

Nothing planned today, apart from our usual TV (we are working through Last Tango in Halifax from series one. We are on series 3 now) Scrabble, internet etc. I think we may also go for a walk.
    Pizza delivery tonight.

Sending love to Enfys, Oma and anyone who is struggling at the moment. I hope today can be a better one for you.

      Good morning ladies .

We haven't had rain yet but it's overcast but very still none of the trees are moving and not many birds about this morning.

Avo how are you today ?

Enfys take care of yourself I hope the week picks up for you

Daisy is J due another eye injection ? Seems a while since his last one .strange times we living in must feel so odd for DS.

Gem are you going to Mums today ? How is she . I bet S enjoyed her session yesterday very relaxing .

Nana it's finding things to keep busy that's challenging isn't it .

Mimi Did you tackle the ironing?

Clover how you doing ?you too Plant and WG ?

A funny o!d day so far . I cleaned my glass tables and did a general dust and Hoover , put a dark wash on and had a shower ,
Trouble is what do I do the rest of the day everything is done and clean . Nothing to do outside either.

At the moment I don't want to much time to think I want to keep busy keep my mind from wandering .
      I'm sure I will find something ,
      Keep safe ladies xxx

Oma, mum is fine I think. I will phone the care home again today, and find out if she is having her hair done this week. We will go over the her house tomorrow to do some more stuff, then get her bin out for Friday morning collection
It's so hard for you I know. This happening when you and B can't go out (even to Ikea!) makes is so much harder to occupy your mind. You never complain, but I do realise who hard it must be x

Enfys, sorry to hear things are tough going this week. Sending love and hugs to you both.

Oma, how is the stair lift working out, is B using it and what's more are you using it?

Daisy, that must feel strange for your DS1 to be leaving a job and starting a new job at this time.

I could do with a bit of reflexology Gemini, overdid things yesterday and a bit achy today. Your mother will enjoy having her hair done. Hope she is socializing a bit more.

I shall have to find an ironing person, I changed my bedding, that is enough in itself. The new bedding was creased so I got the ironing board out, very difficult, and ironed two sheets and duvet cover plus 4 pillow cases all 5.6" and then made the bed. I thought I will enjoy getting into that lovely bed last night and would you believe it I saw 2am pass by, so unusual for me. Plus I did 3 loads of washing, dried it, folded and put it away. I can't leave washing for another day atm as my DD is using my washing machine and drier. Today I am just going to flick a duster around the bedroom.

Nana I am sure you could make your OH a mask with your sewing skills. A nice flowery one me-thinks.

Not sure what the weather is going to do today, watery sunshine atm.

WeeGranny - the book is "365 Days of Art", subtitled "A Creative Exercise for Every Day of the Year" by Lorna Scobie. She's also done 365 Days of Drawing, and 365 Days of Creativity. They're £11.99 on Amazon. I think Amazon deliveries are slower than usual, and this book says delivered on Sat, 9th May with Prime. Happy creating and doodling. One blank page says 'draw something you've never drawn before', and another is a grey-ish wash for you to put a skyline/seascape whatever on to. A couple of others - Draw your favourite pair of shoes, There are a couple of palm trees and you have to fill in the scene - beach, sea, sky etc. Lots of variety.

I ordered that one for DD, to be delivered to her, and a different one in the series for myself (and golf book for OH, whose birthday is coming up soon)

                      Morning all.
I was looking at this book on line ( couldn't sleep pre normal) It looks very interesting but as I have two unused books here that DIL brought me a few Christmas's ago I really should tackle those first .

We have spent a good hour an a half pulling up creeping buttercup from our front garden boarder . Didn't realise there was so much of the flipping thing . It seemed to appear over night.
Apon investigation I could see that it was mostly hidden between the daffodils and the aquilegia and as the daffs are dying down the buttercups were taking hold.
We just managed to get it all done and cleared up just as it started to rain. I suppose I can look forward to my back aching again now. !!

Talking to DD last night I asked her what SIL would like for his birthday. She said he loves mint toffees and because of the situation we find ourselves in he hasn't been able to get any.
He can now look forward to a huge bag of toffees on it's way to him as we speak.

Oma yes I did tackle the ironing and by my calculations I don't expect to do any more for many weeks , depending how board I get 😁😉

How are all our ladies with their own personal battles. I constantly think of you all .x

Gem we have taken to watching more TV than usual, at the moment we are watching Silent Witness. I think we are on series 8 so we have a long way to go . We have learned one valuable lesson from it, don't eat your tea with it on , puts you right off your tomato sandwich!!!

Have a good day everyone, keep safe and keep strong x
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

I’m a lot better, made some face masks - see my post in handmade by you. Feeling whacked out now! It’s amazing and frustrating how doing so little can make you so tired!
