    Good service indeed Lizzie!
    Did TV win Nana??

We had a lovely time visiting auntie. We all had lunch in the newly opened onsite Bistro, and very nice it was. Auntie insisted on treating us which was very kind of her.
OH had a phone call from the hospital changing her upcoming 6 monthly check up to a phone appointment. My auntie has an appointment for her eye injection at the same hospital on the same day. I imagine they will try not to cancel that as it is treatment rather than just talking which OH's is.
We have been asked not to visit my sister unless unavoidable so we won't be doing that for the foreseeable future, I will just phone to check she is OK.

Gem nice to hear your Auntie had a nice afternoon with you both ,
Its sensible not to visit your sister at the moment ,

We were meeting our friends for tea tomorrow but we have decided to heed the government advice and have cancelled ,

Josh was put in isolation at school today and DD went to pick him up he has a nasty cough but we think it may be a cold rather than anything else ,
DD is watching see how he is tonight before she decides if she needs to stay at home with him , she wouldn't let us pick him up and when SIL came for Storm he stayed outside just to be careful

It probably is a cold Oma, but better safe than sorry. I hope Josh is better soon.

Oma, hope J only has a cold. Sensible to take precautions though.

Gem - how kind of your aunt. I'm glad you had a lovely time. My OH has an appointment for an eye injection next Monday. The Eye Unit has a separate entrance from the main part of the hospital and can easily be made self-contained, which I'm sure makes things a bit easier to control, but we'll go armed with our trusty bottle of hand sanitiser etc.

Oma - I'm glad DD wouldn't let you pick J up. It probably is just a cough/cold, but neither your nor B should be exposing yourselves to any potential risks. Did you choose a new microwave?

Nana - I bet TV won hands down! OH had a nice day for golf.

Lizzie - how kind of the person from the health centre to deliver to your door. Is your DIL very disappointed about the NY trip? At least your GD1 has got those exams out of the way. Were they school exams or external ones?

Nobody's saying much here about secondary school exams - GCSEs, A Levels and others. I'm glad I'm not in the hot seat at college trying to work round all the implications of either holding the exams or delaying them.

Plant - I hope you got your car filled up ok. My DIL2 went to fill their car up last night and the local Tesco garage had sold out!

OH lost at golf with his mates. They're probably going to put off meeting up till all this virus stuff has blown over. Me? Well I watched the catch up tv series/part of.🤭 You all sound as tho you had a good day. Oma I hope J's just got a cold. Please don't put yourself & B at risk love.

I phoned DD she said he was fine , no fever and feels good in himself think school was a bit hasty but better safe than sorry , not sure if he will be going tomorrow see in morning ,
Martin rang B said they have been told from Wednesday to work from home for 30 days , Clare happy about that as having to be off work is driving her mad , they work in the same office and she's missing him being on her own all day ,

Daisy I imagine appointments like J's will still go ahead I think its routine appointments they are cancelling .

Nana maybe best if they don't meet up if any of them are not in good health ,

Lizzie that was kind delivering to you saved you the journey too

Daisy, my DIL isn't that disappointed, they expected it after all that has happened these last few weeks, they have been a few times to NY and will probably go again when (if) this all blows over.
The schools here have these exams every few months instead of just the one at the end of the

Oma,school year. My soles arrived, it was the young man that works at the podotherapy and he just happens to live in the village! He said "don't spread the word that I have delivered to your home or I will be doing it on a regular basis"!

Oma, I hope J is fine, better to be sure though.

Nanto, he was a nice young man, the gym I go to is run by his in-laws. What is in your slow cooker sounds delicious!

Yes, Gem, nice of your auntie, she seems to be well settled in now.

                            Good morning all.

Oma, it sounds as though GS is OK, school just being careful.
Free day as I am not collecting GS1. OH is going to the golf club. I will go shopping as I want to make sure we have plenty in due to the stockpiling which is depleting shelves. The cat needs his food, but I haven't heard of any pet food shortages so far!
I also need a card and present for my mum for Sunday and couple of doormats for her sunroom.

Take care everyone and have good day.

Good morning everyone! It's dry and a bit sunny here, so I'm hoping to start on my greenhouse spring clean.

DS2 and DIL have decided not to send the girls to school. They think it will be closed by the end of the week anyway, and already a lot of children are being kept home. So I don't have to make a decision about whether or not I should be having them after school!

Gem, I've heard a couple of people saying they couldn't get their regular dog food, but that could be just particular small brands. There seemed to be plenty on both the cat and dog aisles on Sunday.

Oma - I do hope J is ok. I'm sure the school are being very careful about coughs and colds.

Nanto - lunch sounds delicious! I love prawns.

Good morning. Dry here too, so far. I’m hoping to get the grass cut later, it’s very shaggy so the first cut will be difficult but I’ll take my time.

Otherwise no plans as yet, DH muttered something about tidying up the garage so he might make a start on that. We have some stuff to take to the tip but that will have to wait for now.

Oma, hope your GS is ok, better safe than sorry and I’m sure all schools are being extra cautious.

Have a good day everyone, 🌞
