Little cutie is tucked up in bed, all quiet.

I'm glad you can see the pics again Nan2.
      Oma, that sounds very uncomfortable.
Seagulls are so big aren't they Glamma?!
Clover I know it must be hard having to sort out all the things that OH used to do. I would feel the same way. I think you are doing so well.

My tea is here;! Bye for now

Wee Granny - of course you're not a technophobe - you're on here, aren't you!

Your browser is something like Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Safari the Windows one (I can never remember the name of it) (whatever you get up on the screen when you want to search for something). Mostly the cache (a history of what you log in to or search for) can be found under Settings, and you can clear it by clicking on History then Cache and clicking on 'Everything' then delete. The words vary depending on the browser, but that's the principle.

Nanto - glad your graphics are all present and correct.

Well done Grandma Gem - you've tired out your little cutie. xx

          Evening All,
It’s not been the best day in Grauntie land. We had a call this morning from SiL to say that DD1 had been kicked in the head by a horse and was on her way to hospital with a suspected broken cheek bone and eye socket. Luckily for her she has only got a broken nose and a deep cut going from cheek to eyebrow. She has been to another hospital in Chelmsford to be stitched up by a plastic surgeon. Her poor face is very swollen and she is in pain. At least the horse was small and didn’t have any shoes on, it could have been so much worse.
GSs no’s 3 & 4 are coming for a sleep over tomorrow, they have been packing many games to bring! I think I may be on cooking duty for DD1 all weekend too, so I am off to bed early for once, Peaky Blinders catch up will have to wait.
I hope you all have a restful night, no roaming around. 😁

Grauntie - your poor DD1. What an awful thing to happen. Even small unshod horses can pack a mighty kick (my OH says so - he once got kicked in the groin by a New Forest pony). What a relief it was 'only' a broken nose and a deep cut - it could have been so much worse, and I'm sure you've gone through all the possible scenarios while you were waiting for news. I hope DD can get all the rest she needs and it all heals up quickly. Has the doctor given her plenty of painkillers?

I'm sure you're exhausted with worry though and it sounds as though tomorrow will be pretty hectic for you. Keep the cooking simple. xx

Sorry. It's too late to reply to everyone, but I just want to wish Oma well. How long before you get the test results love? Are you sure it wasn't OH doing the scan if you felt you were being throttled?😉 Grauntie how awful about your DD. Never stop worrying about our 'children' do we. I hope that she manages a comfortable night.

                Nighty-night everyone.

Grauntie, what an awful accident for DD1, I expect the kicks from a horse can be very powerful! I do hope she is feeling better.

                          Good morning everyone.

Nanto - I love the treehouse! It reminds me of pictures in children's books which I always loved.

Grauntie - I hope DD1 has got over the shock and the pain is easing. Don't overdo it today, despite being so busy.

Gem - enjoy your GS2 time.

The suns shining this morning so I'm going to get on with the washing - tons of it - in the hope it will dry outside. Back later.

                          Happy Saturday everyone. xx

Thank you, ladies, for your kind concern. We FaceTimed DD1 just now and she is ok and has a good supply of pain killers. Her staff have rallied and covered her for next week but I know she won’t stay away. 🙄 Her in-laws live next door to her and we are 10mins away so all is covered between us if necessary.
Must prepare for my little guests.
                            Have a good weekend all.
