    Good morning all.

    A morning to yourself Nan2!
Daisy, have a good Copper day. School pick up too?

GS1 pick up for me. The sun is shining and the skies are blue, but of course there is that September nip in the air. It looks a nice day though

    Have a good day everyone.

Everyone is sounding very rushed this morning, whereas I am still in my dressing gown. I had a bit of a misunderstanding with the surgery yesterday. I took my sample in and they phoned me in the afternoon and said the Doctor said very slight infection and could I take another sample in a fortnight when I had been up and down all night and in pain. I managed to convince the receptionist that I certainly couldn't wait that long. When she rang back she said my doctor had been fed the wrong information and there was a prescription being made up in the Chemists and could I take another sample in a fortnight. Better night last night, drinking so much I will be floating soon. I have two dentist appt. a hearing aid appt. 2 hospital appts. before I come to Birmingham. On Friday a local Removal company are coming to empty my bedroom ready for the decorator on the Monday. I have to start clearing the wardrobes. Now is the time to have a clear-out. Do I hear violins?

Good lord Plant, thank goodness you phoned back! Keep drinking the water, I hope you feel better very soon. I'm not rushing around either, so you're not the only one I have some washing on, but that's all I have done so far.
Good idea about the ladder Oma. Have a nice meal out

Good morning dear ladies from a peaceful Follaton. Hectic 8 days with visitors, my middle sister left this morning. Bed stripped and now in the machine ready for drying outside. Beautiful weather here,we have been so lucky sunshine every day. Set to be nice all week and hotting up nicely. Hope you are all ok, will try and catch up on the news sometime later. We are ready for a quiet day here.

Goodness, we are busy bees today - lots happening even if we think it's a quiet day.

Plant - thank goodness you got the prescription sorted out eventually.

Oma - well done to B for doing the oven. He definitely deserves a medal for that.

Libra - it's surprising how busy you are when you've got visitors, even when it's family. Long may this weather continue, and I think you've earned a nice relaxing day in your garden.

Gem - yes, it's school pick up too - and of course dog training this evening. Enjoy your time with GS1. I'm sorry if I've missed a post, but I've been wondering how kitty is - is she on the increased medication?

We've had everything on hold waiting for OH's hospital appointment, and as I mentioned he got one at very short notice yesterday. The scan showed that the fluid in the eye is much less - from a lake to a puddle - so that was really good news. He will now have two more injections and see the Consultant again in December.

Hello ladies, you all sound so busy I must say, all I have done today is return a top back to M and S .
I handed the receipt to the lady behind the counter only to discover that I had the wrong receipt with me. It was for my necklace I brought last week . I suddenly recalled that I had shredded the one for the top yesterday, silly me.
Anyway all was not lost as she gave me a credit note ( which looked like a till receipt) but I used it to but two large scented candles, pack of 3 nice soaps and a pair of gloves. I didn’t trust myself leaving the note in my purse as I might have shredded that also !

Plant , how are you feeling today, it’s a good job you rang the drs back when you did

Oma how did you get B to clean the oven , you must share your tips

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Mimi hes a good lad and will do these jobs willingly
Such a faff when you have wrong receipt isn't it but it all turned out well in the end

Daisy that's such good news seems the injections have started to work , fingers crossed it stays that way xx

Libra great you had such good weather means you will have been able to get out and about with your Sister ,

Got my appointment for Scans on my neck for 30th September day after I get back from Brum , one is for 11-15am then another for 2pm
I rang and asked to have them a little nearer time wise but apparently they that far apart as I have to have a injection first before first one and it has to have time to work before the scan .
If we sitting around we will either go to MIL's up the road from Hospital or go to Café and have a drink while we wait .

I have an oven needing cleaning Oma.

Easy enough to do Mimi, pleased you were able to use the credit note.

That sounds like good news for your OH Daisy, hope it continues to improve.

Got all my jobs done while hubby was out this morning.
We did the gardening after he got home.

                          Daisy,very good news about hubby.

                          Plant,hope you are feeling better.

Mimi, good that you were able to spend the credit note.

Weather been lovely, although turned a bit chilly now.

Good morning, Nanto and all who follow.

We've got a sunny morning, but there's a definite chill in the air. It's the sort of day you don't know what to wear - winter woollies right now, but will probably need something summery later!

I'm having a mad dash round the house with the sucky up thing - Eva should be bald judging by the amount of her fur piling up in corners. Then we're out for coffee and lunch. Back home and then pack for our trip up to Leek tonight. We'll drop Eva off at DS2's on the way - I do miss her but I know we'll get a lot more done if she's not with us.

Plant - how are you today?

Enfys - how is P? I hope the chemo isn't making him feel poorly. Are you able to get out and enjoy this spell of sunny weather?

Nana - just wondering how you are.

Oma - it looks as though the scans on your neck is going to be an all-day job, but it will be good to get it sorted if you can.

Gem - how is kitty? I hope the fluid has gone down, but I bet she's getting lots of cuddles.

                                Good morning ladies

Gammon is nice Nan2. We had some last week, first time in ages.
Daisy, good news about OH's eyes. Sunny but a bit chilly here too Daisy. Safe journey to Leek.
Oma, last year I had an appointment for my breast cancer follow up at 9 in the morning, then my annual mammogram, same department at 4pm! Luckily we live 3 miles away so just went home, but many patients live a long way away, and would have been hanging around in York all day. In your case it sounds as though there is a reason at least.

This morning my car goes in for the oil sump replacement (I don't really know what that means LOL) I have a dental appointment in town at 10, so OH will drive me in after we drop the car off. We will have a wander round town after my appointment and have lunch.
Tonight a friend is coming round, one of the recently split couple. Tomorrow I am meeting the other for tea as she needs to talk. Call us marriage counsellors! They really should be back together, and I hope I can help. I will write more details elsewhere I think.
We think the increased dose of tablets is helping with the fluid on kitty's tummy and legs. I will take her to the vets for a check later this week or early next, as they want to see her before the tablets run out.

                                Have a good day everyone.
