Good morning, what a beautiful Autumn day.

Oma I’m not surprised the day you had took it’s toll.Hope the stress has gone now. You certainly threw yourself into the housework this morning

We’ve just been for a paper and a walk along the cliffs. The sea was sparkling and lovely and calm. Quite a few people out and about and the outside area of the cafe was full up.

Hope Plant has a good journey home.

Gem I hope kitty is continuing to improve after her expensive vets visits.

Mimi what a wonderful day for a wedding

DD is off to an open air production of “Evita” in Regent’s Park so I’m sure she’s relieved it’s not raining.
SIL and GD are off to the open day at Birmingham Uni.
Other Granny is Finn and dog sitting.
It’ll be interesting to find out how they all got on.

Just heard the 12 o’clock news on the radio so it’s afternoon now and I MUST finish the ironing.

    Have a happy weekend.

          Hello everyone.

It is the most beautiful day here - warm, clear blue skies and the 20 loads of washing are drying nicely (I do exaggerate slightly - it just feels like 20). Our visitors left mid-morning and I've been catching up a bit on loads of chores. I'm now in need of a rest, but I've got the cupboard where I keep tins, packets and jars of food turned out. Something had leaked in there but I haven't had chance to deal with it until today. I've given it a good scrub and now it's dry I've got to put things back.

I'm hoping tomorrow morning I can relax with a coffee and read the last week's posts. Meanwhile, back to the chores.

Had plenty of sunshine today, been quite mild.
About 15 minutes after we got home, friends arrived.
We sat in the garden with tea and biscuits and had a natter.

            Oma,hope you feel better today.

It's good to be able to sit in the garden in September Nan2. It was a lovely day wasn't it?
It's so nice to have visitors but also nice when they are gone Daisy
Kitty OK Oma, but still quite a lot of fluid on tummy and legs. They did say the dose of her tablets may need adjusting, so I will phone the vet on Monday. She wants one of us all the time now really, a bit like a baby!

Well we didn't do anything on our list of possibilities today!
We were sitting down a to a late breakfast when OH had a phone call. A friend calling from the Lakes. Her OH had come away yesterday for a weeks holiday without her medication. Was there any chance we could meet them halfway this weekend to deliver them? Fortunately OH has a key to their house, so we were able to go and retrieve them. So, we were Good Samaritans and drove over to Hawes to meet them. It was a nice sunny day, and we figured it was nice day to be out, and the sooner we delivered the meds the better. As soon as we finished breakfast and hung out the washing which was on, we got ready and left. They were very grateful and paid for petrol and lunch.
We drove back and stopped in Layburn for a while. A nice scenic drive and helping out a friend in need.

              Goodnight ladies!

Mimi, did you enjoy yourselves at the wedding?

Off to sort some washing out now.

Enfys been a bit quiet, hope things are not too bad for them.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.

Thinking of Enfys, and anyone else having a difficult time xx

It's kind of sunny and with dark clouds today! I haven't checked the forecast.
As we didn't get to mums yesterday I will go today. We are meeting friends for a pub quiz tonight, so Downton Abbey has been put on hold for one night during the week or next weekend.
This morning kitty has started to leak again so its puppy pads back out. The plus side is she will feel more comfortable, but hopefully it will stop soon. I'll phone the vet tomorrow about the drug dosage.

Have a good Sunday everyone, home or away

Good morning everyone. It's another beautiful sunny day here, and promises to be nice and warm later.

I'm still being a busy little bee - one load of washing out, another in the machine. Also preparing lots of dog food in case we can go up to Leek on Tuesday for a few days. OH is waiting for a hospital appointment which is overdue, so everything is on hold until we know what's happening. So I thought if I can get organised here if he's not having treatment this week we can drop everything else and go and sort out some more of my cousin's things.

Enfys - I do hope P is ok and isn't getting a lot of side effects.

Gem - that was kind of you, to help out your friends. I'm sure they appreciated it, and you had an unexpected day out. I hope they enjoy the rest of their holiday. I do hope kitty is ok, but it sounds as though the vet needs to increase her medication a bit.

Mimi - how did the wedding go?

Nanto - it's lovely to sit in the garden at this time of year! We did the same.

Plant - any baby news yet?

Clouded over here and turned chilly.
Did get the washing dry while it was sunny earlier.
A bit of a quiet day here for us.

Filled my fridge and cupboards with GD1 this morning so will not go hungry. I now have a UTI infection, as soon as I finished the antibiotic for the bladder infection it started. Drinking loads but the doctor had already fixed for me to take another sample when I got back so I will do that tomorrow. I have unpacked and have done some washing.

I hope you and B will find someone to help with the washing machine Oma
