Nana - that lends a whole new meaning to a steamy film! I hope it didn't make you all hot and bovvered. x

I had a nice day with GS2, full of beans today Always pleasure to have my alone time with GD on the drive home from school too.

I'm glad Storm seems better Oma.

Lizzie - that 17C must feel positively Springlike.

Plant - how lovely to have some time with your GD, especially over a G&T.

Oma - pleased Storm seems to be ok. I'm sure he'll get lots of attention as well as the cooked chicken.

Gem - that sounds like a busy, but lovely day with GS2, and a nice 'grown up' chat with GD on the way home.I'm sure you find the same - our GD1 continually surprises me with the range of conversation topics she enjoys. It's lovely.

I managed to get a bit of gardening done around lunch-time - it was very pleasant in the sun. But by this evening the wind was getting up. It looks as though we're in for a blustery week-end.

Ironing piles still where they were. Any volunteers most welcome. So no steam ~ film or otherwise. 😉

Will have a look round and eat there.
On the way home we will go to Asda.

Daisy, it was the 43 degrees in the sun on the balcony! Low sun and bright rays.

Good morning everyone. Nanto enjoy your morning in Wakefield, and lunch out.

                    Lizzie - I missed that. Wow! 43C

OH is going shopping this morning while I wade through a few piles of washing. Then if it's not too windy, I'll try and get a bit more gardening done.

Whatever your plans are, ladies, have a lovely Saturday.

Good morning Nan2, Lizzie, Daisy and all who follow.

I wonder if you will buy anything from the garden centre Nan2?
Don't get blown away in the garden Daisy!

No sign of wind here yet.
No plans for today, although we may go to Aldi . I had intended to go to my mums, as I was to be busy tomorrow and Monday. However now tomorrows outing is cancelled I will go tomorrow. She saw me and went to the dentist on Thursday, DD1 went to see her yesterday, so she will appreciate a down day today and we will drop by tomorrow.

                      Enjoy your Saturday everyone.

So pleased about your new oven Oma, Neff are a good make

Had a nice evening with GD1 yesterday, we shared some sushi with a G&T and had a good chat, partner joined us later when he had finished work. They have booked the venue, the photographer and the DJ for their wedding next year, very exciting.

No pain for my mum thanks Oma. They filed and smoothed over the broken tooth, and slightly filled it. Just two small fillings to do next time.

The weather didn't tempt me into the garden yesterday Daisy but it was a lovely sunny day.

No frost today, looking a bit damp outside. Rugby later, I hope England will perform better. I am in the middle of knitting squares for a WI project, a cardigan for GGD and making bags for a sale. I wonder if I will get any of them finished. My brain doesn't work so well these days and I keep making silly mistakes making the bags but they are cut out now, just have to get machining. Wish Nana lived a bit nearer.

Plant - how lovely, planning your GD1's wedding. OH has gone shopping with the intention of being back in time for the rugby. Obviously the Wales v Ireland match is his first priority, but I'm sure he'll also watch the Scotland v England match. And of course, there's always tomorrow for Franc v Italy! I'm rather glad it's 6 nations, not 60!

Gem - good to know your mum's ok and the tooth doesn't hurt.

Oma - awww, poor you. You overdid things yesterday - just a bit! You deserve a nana nap this afternoon. Yes, it will be worth doing some gardening even if the promised storm arrives tomorrow - I'm cutting things down, digging up weeds and some brambles that really annoy me and keep catching in Eva and Cooper's fur. There's no point in trying to do anything to make the garden look prettier at the moment - it's still far too wet - and it's rained a bit this morning.

As Gem has said - we're always delighted to hear from all of our members, even if it's just "Hi".
