Gs2 is no trouble to have for have for a full day so it was easy.
It has seemed a long day because it the early meeting though!
Last pick up for GD until September. They had been on their school trip to Bridlington. It rained. They had fun though.
I won't see her next Friday as she will be away for a few days with friends. I must get to see her next weekend though as they go to Greece on holiday the following Wednesday, then I will miss 2 more Fridays with her.

It is pouring down here. I am so glad we are at home tonight!!
I hope Plant's trip home today has gone smoothly.

Evening all who have passed this way , I am much better ladies thank you for enquiring , swelling gone down loads still have a rash but on the mend, I’ve put off having the twins tomorrow and pushed it on another day, but will go see Eldest party set up .
Oma leave the gin alone !!!!!!!, hope Dd is feeling better tomorrow it’s not like her is it
We had a thunderstorm this afternoon , I can live with one thunderstorm but just the one
I’m going to have a pamper session Gem but for some reason my shins are quite sore , so will wait till it settles down a bit
Joe is missing his Spanish bolt hole Daisy he seems better today anyway .

No Qwerty she's usually very healthy , but she felt off colour today ,
She goes to boot camp 4 times a week and she's missing that today too so must feel unwell .
Lots of bugs going around here so maybe she's picked something up

Good to hear your legs are not so swollen its a good idea putting off the twins it will give you a bit more time to recover ,

Off to see DD soon and take SIL's Birthday card down , hes 46 today .

Tonight we are taking his Mother & Sister to B's cousins 50th wedding celebrations ,
Im not looking forward to it what with his Mother making herself known and his sister who is a Mrs know it all and the fact the two of them Bicker constantly when together , its going to be one hell of a night
Luckily I know all his cousins so I can wander off and talk to them

we will stay a few hours and I have told B if by 10pm im sick of them he can drop me at home as the venue is just down the road from us and take them home .
His sister is one of these people who constantly wags her finger when she talks , I always say if we cut her finger off she would be dumb , and her and MIL are so alike they just clash something rotten .
Never mind its only a few hours im sure I can bite my tongue

Good morning Nan2 and Oma.

I think we have a similar forecast here Nan2, but proper summer weather is set to return!
I hope the wedding celebrations are not as bad as you fear Oma!!

It was an early start for us today. Our hairdresser had to cancel last week's appointment and it was moved to today at 8.15! All done now, and we have just had breakfast.
Not much planned so far today, but we are out with friends for a birthday meal tonight. I offered to drive us and local friends, but another friend said she would, so that's even better!

Morning ladies, just out of the bath did some exfoliating in the rash area hoping it will open the pores, of course I don’t know what I’m doing just seemed a good thing , Epsom salts in the bath water and now I’m shining like a new pin 😐 the foot is so much better but behaving myself and resting .
We had an unexpected overnight visitor last night, my Dd pulled up on the drive all dressed up, she had forgotten she was out with her girlfriends for her 40th , only did she realise when the whats app pinged at tea time to say can’t believe there is a thunderstorm when we are out for J birthday 😱 they meet up in our village as most of them still live local.
Nothing much happening today just going to Dds to look at party goings on 😀

Oma try lol to enjoy the golden wedding celebrations, we often talk about ours in 3 yrs. time ,it it will be a quiet affair I think can’t face a big do these days 🤤

Late on parade today.
We had the most fearsome claps of thunder in the night. It woke us both with a start! Only rain this morning, not the storms forecast. OH went to golf as it is captains day and he had signed up to play. He has just come back soaked to the skin. He gave up after 9 holes but he is going back for the lunch. Sewing for me, I have Gd’s machine here so I can feed my habit. 😆

We have just had a mother of all rain storms , lasted about 10 minutes then stopped as quickly as it came ,
After about 5 minutes I remembered the bedroom windows were open ,
I dashed upstairs and window sills were soaking but luckily it hadn't dripped off down the walls

Sun is peeping out now , you never know with our weather do you , next doors washing is on the line I don't think she will get it dry now it will need washing again

We’re still at DS1’s building a huge tin shed. Their builders start on Monday and we’ve got to get the playroom the utility room and the garage emptied.

It it looks as though we’ll have a late ohh thanks tonight and a full day tomorrow.

So I’ve had a quick break and now it’s back to work. I hope you’re all having a good weekend. I’ll catch when I get home. Xx
