Oma it is great when you can pass something on to those that need it. I have given away a couple of things on our freecycle site.

The phone saga has settled down a bit. I have had one or two blips, partly I think because I use three devices. I still use a laptop, love my iPad. The laptop keeps asking me for passwords, if it continues, I will ask GS1 to have a look. My DD told me that GS1 and his wife have lost the house they were buying as the young couple buying their house wouldn't get a move on and it transpires that they got married and were on their honeymoon. They are going to complete on their house and look around for another house. I asked DD where they are going to live and she said here, not sure if she was joking. If so they will have GS, wife and baby and GD1 and boyfriend who are moving into the cabin any day now, as well as the other two popping back from London some weekends. Hairdresser coming later this morning, apart from that, no plans.

Daisy, I hope the weather is kind for your sailing trip, will you be given a job to do.

Gemini, hope S's wrist will improve soon so that she can get back to her golf.

          Good morning one and all.

How lovely to hear about fresh rhubarb. I love it, especially in crumbles, but OH isn't keen and doesn't like crumbles. Nanto - I wish I lived closer - I'd be round there with my pie dish, looking pleading! How lovely that you like GD2's new boyfriend.

Enfys - you're doing the right thing getting out and enjoying the various groups you belong to. I'm so pleased P is feeling more like himself, but as you say he needs to take things steady and not overtire himself. It must be frustrating for him though. GD sounds very happy, and you must have enjoyed having a Face Time chat with her. Bondi Beach sounds very glamorous.

Grauntie - I hope the gardening won - the ironing can wait, and it makes me feel better not to be the only one with a pile of the stuff!

Gem - have a lovely time with GS1 this afternoon. Poor S, I'm sure she's longing to get back to her golf, but it would be silly to try too soon.

Oma - I hope you've decided on your new sofa! It sounds as though your table's gone to a good home. Haha, no I'm not getting a wet suit! Hopefully I won't fall in the water.

Gem and Oma - I bet you're both looking forward to your get together, and lovely that your OHs can join you.

Plant - it seems as though your already busy family are going to be even busier if everyone comes back home! How frustrating for your GS1 and his wife to have lost the house they wanted. I hope they can find something even nicer than the one they've missed out on. Glad the phone sage has settled down a bit.

I'm having my usual busy Tuesday. Cooper keeps coming as barking at me to go and play with him, so I give him a 'job' to do - finding a ball or something and he trots off, then comes back without it and barks at me again. Eva doesn't seem in the mood to play much this morning.

When you do a roast in the slow cooker Nanto, what liquid do you put in?

Thanks Nanto, I might try it. I thought it would be a bit like a pot roast.
