Started off misty,but that has cleared now.
Just a usual kind of day for us.
Hubby going walking with his pal.so hopefully i'll get some jobs done.

Sunny here atm, I suspect it might be cold. I need to go to the opticians, I have lost the nose piece from my glasses over the weekend. I might get to do some gardening, just pottering jobs, or I might clean the bathrooms, I suspect I might do neither.

A very wet night here, but it isn't raining at the moment.
This morning OH and I are going to our friends C and P's house. OH has bought a garden camera for the hedgehogs etc and P will help her set it up.
GS1 from school this afternoon, but not until 4 as he is at after-school computer club again until half term.

Afternoon seems like we have all had a decent bank holiday, I was out for breakfast at DS yesterday, it’s funny how we hardly went out for tea when I was younger never mind breakfast it’s one thing I don’t mind from America lol
Busy day for some , quiet for me but pick up tomorrow and Thursday could be tea out at Morrison’s one of those days cheap and cheerful
Gem has all settled down, now all the family are back in the bosom of their family. Hope Enfys is feeling better about her g/ d going

I have cleaned the bathroom, dusted the sitting room and bedroom. Got my glasses fixed and popped into my favourite cafe for one of their lovely coffees. I have been on here researching for a new steam mop and now I am catching up with FB, Mailbox and GRansRus. I am now going to see if my sun room is warm enough to go out there and listen to my Audible book. I am also waiting for the news of the sex of the expected GGC., they are having the scan today.

Afternoon ladies.

Where has the day gone?
Up early to get slow coach OH up and doing as we had a dentist’s appointment.I had to have filling replaced.Dentist had warned me the tooth might have to have a crown if she couldn’t fill it successfully but thank heavens I got away with a filling,a very numb mouth(which has not long “ come back”) and a dent in the plastic. Then OH had to see the hygienist.We had to have consecutive appointments as I have to go in with G.It made for a long morning. After a bowl of soup for lunch I fell asleep for half an hour.I then noticed that due to enthusiastic bathing the bird baths needed refilling.


Hope everyone’s day is going as planned.

First session back at school after my op. It was lovely to see the children again and they all seemed pleased to see me!

Came home to find men and diggers in garden and a pile of stones at front door. Work has finally started on filling in the ditch. I now have a digger, 3 lengths of drainage pipes,plus fittings and two large piles of mud from ditch on lawn( on black plastic!). It will be much better when it's all done. Then it'll be onto fence at bottom of garden.

Qwerty, I love breakfast out.
DD and SIL still jetlagged. They will be at her dad's a couple of nights, then at DD2's. Don't think they will be staying with us but who knows LOL. They are squeezing the last bit of Airbnb money from their house before they move back in. Then it will be reinstating the cat after 11 months. She's been spoilt where she is, I don't think she will be happy 😁

GS1 and I went to the park (where Grandma was cold!!) played a few board games, and chatted. A nice time.

Good morning from a very wet south coast. It’s been raining all night though might have stopped now but it’s very dull and dreary here.

DGD arrived safely in Sydney after a 3 hour delay taking off from London but otherwise I think all went well. Only had a very brief text to say she had landed so will wait to hear more from her.

Had a busy few days catching up with jobs and paperwork etc. But this morning I am going to a craft morning with my new WI ladies. So a quick shower then I’ll pick my friend up and we’ll go and see what it’s all about. This new group is lovely, very friendly and lots going on so I think we will like it.

P is busy putting lights in round the edge of the decking, but I’ve told him not to try and do too much this morning whilst I’m not here to keep an eye on him. Left to his own devices he’ll do too much then will feel the worse for it, but he won’t be told!

Another wet night here, and very dull now. It sounds as though this bad weather is widespread. Where is summer???
Reflexology for me this morning, and taking my mum to have her ears syringed this afternoon. That's my day!
On FB Mr Oma said they are having a lovely time and being spoilt
