Oma I’m sorry you’re still suffering with that awful cold. It would have been dreadful if you’d had your cruise spoiled.

Gem ,poor S and puss.Hope S soon gets over it and puss recovers quickly from this blip.A walk would have been lovely very but at least if you do the leaflets you can enjoy the sunshine on your travels.

Those lucky people going out to lunch I hope you enjoy being waited on.

Enfys ,very wise to have a no job day especially as you’ve had the stress of OH having a rough time. My best wishes to him and you too of course.

The day of rest did OH good, she looks and feels a lot better.
We think we are nearing the last days with our kitty. As long as day are more good than bad and she has a quality of life, then things stay as they are. We had a couple of distressing evenings (after 6 good days) but she has been OK since yesterday morning, so just watch and wait. Not a happy state for us, but part of owing and loving pets.

I did half the delivery round yesterday , and spent a while talking to Oscar the dog and his mum. Maybe he will stop barking each time he sees me now
Today we have invited my mum over to lunch, then to either sit in the garden or watch the snooker on TV. She may cry off, you never know with my mum.

Normal day for us, getting ready for Portugal at the weekend so got to get the house straight before we go! Hopefully some time in the garden later.

Hope your mum comes and enjoys her day with you both. It is sad when you know that you have to make a decision to say goodbye to a much loved pet, one almost hopes they will pass away peacefully in their sleep.

Busy day for me yesterday, had a lovely lunch with DS, Dil and GS3 and 4. came home about 6pm and GGs and his parents were here so enjoyed watching his antics. DD, sil are taking GD2 to her new flatshare, she has been home for some weeks but she now has a job in London so we shall not see so much of her. I shall miss her she is a loving, bouncy, cheerful person to have around and I shall miss her cuddles. I am sure she will be home some weekends but it is a difficult journey from South London. Oh and another surprise GS2 was here when I got back too. My DD and Sil love having the family around them. I am planning to do a bit a gardening today, need to prepare a bed for DD and GGS to plant out the sunflowers they have been growing.

I hope you’ve now got a new friend in Oscar and he doesn’t shout at you any more. It’s usually due to uncertainty rather than aggression but it’s disconcerting for the person being barked at!

Good afternoon all.
Just had a quick look at the last few posts and I see that a few of you aren’t feeling al that well. Oma I see you have a cold, OH is just getting over a nasty head/ chest cold, he was unwell for a few days.
Hope everyone soon starts to feel better soon so that you are all able to enjoy the lovely weather we have been having.

Well GS came to stay last Thursday and Friday and he was such a good lad, lots of chatting, giggling and eating.
DIL came by with some Easter eggs for him and younger GS , she also brought myself and OH some chocolate rabbits which was so good of her she has lots of health problems going on with herself, DS and her her father.
We are rather concerned about DS’s health which I will pop on YEO when I have time.

My DS was bringing two youngest today but he could not drag himself out of bed he felt so ill , to be honest I was going to cancel as I wasn't feeling at my best so it worked out right in the end , I will see them Thursday instead .

I did go to bed but im coughing like a 20 a day smoker when I lie down so got up in the end ,
Hope tomorrow is a brighter day for me I have stopped sneezing so that's good and sore throat is easier , onwards and upwards , im a brave soldier
