Me, vet and nurse had quite an ordeal, not to mention poor puss.
She gave her 14 day slow release antibiotic injection, but also wanted to take blood to test kidneys and for diabetes, which I agreed to. Nurse and I held her but she got very stressed. In the end she gave up trying to take it from her neck, and got some from her leg. She seemed glad to be home and none too worse for her ordeal. OH was in when I got back so I didn't have to leave her alone when I came straight out to come for GS.

Afternoon all.Its been another busy day in the garden doing a bit of hoeing and weeding but mostly chatting to the neighbours who seem to have been hibernating all winter. It’s surprising how a bit of nice warmer weather brings everyone out and about.
Gem poor puss , will you have to wait long for the results. I have to take our cat to the vet tomorrow for her OAP checkup. Her initial appointment was for Monday but that was cancelled.

Fishermens' Friends film was greatly enjoyed by myself and friend, still not keen on the bus, it was late and it shakes your bones and gives you a kick in the back every so often, at least it is free and the garage is very close to M&S and the cinema.

Kitty seems OK, the meds are working. Mimi, we should have the results in a few days. As we are away Sunday and Monday, I would not want to begin any treatment until we were back though.
This morning we are going to to take my auntie out for coffee. We haven't seen her for a couple of weeks. Her son and DIL are with her now, until the house they are having built is ready. Not too long hopefully.
This evening I am meeting up for a meal with the 2 friends I used to work with. We generally meet up every 5 or 6 weeks, but we haven't met up so far this year. One of my friends had a big trip to New Zealand to visit family in February, so we had to work around that.

Just a quick 'hello' from me (I seem to have been saying that all week!). We're off out for coffee and lunch with ex-colleagues of OH's this morning. Friends are giving us a lift so I have to be ready on time. The house was a tip after the last two days, so I've done a quick tidy up and need to run the sucky up thing round - dog hairs everywhere!

Got Diabetic blood check at 2.40 then off to Darlington for tea with Martin at 5 so a full day .

I went up to give the bathroom a lick and a promise and ended up going mad and virtually spring cleaning
Feeling in need of a brief sit down.

G M my neighbour’s two Magnolia trees have been brightening up the road for a while now. In fact they are beginning to wilt now. I think being over in the West some things do bloom earlier. You have the pleasure to come.

They are going to remove the rodent ulcer but not for about 3 months and I have to get my Warfarin reading checked just before that. Went to JL after, that was a mistake, I wanted some bits for my new kitchen, but apart from that I bought myself a cream Barbour padded lightweight jacket. Had lunch there and called to get the car cleaned, was just back in time to see GGS before he had his nap.

Well done Clover, sometimes you are just in the mood. Hope you had a nice rest after.

We had a nice time with auntie and she took her stick not walker today. When we dropped her home we stayed and had another cuppa and catch up with my cousin and his OH. They hope to be in the new house by Easter, which is exciting for them. Auntie is enjoying having them there, especially being cooked for

OH is outside cutting our lawn. I am about to write an email to our neighbours who are kindly feeding the cats on Sunday and Monday. We will see them before we go, but I have a lot to tell them. Shaved cat,cystitis cat, and that at the moment we have litter trays which we didn't last time they helped us out!
