Enfys, always good to have a sort out.
Gem, migranes are awful. I started having them when i was 40.
Stopped having them when i got to 50.
Oma, morning out with friends sounds lovely.
We also had rain this morning. Had to dash out for the washing, but it was dry.

Lol, Gem. I love it that your cats prefer their water in a glass - crystal, I hope!! You're doing well with organising your photos. My long-ish term plan is to go through all mine and get GS2 to print out the special ones - family, friends etc, because my albums stopped several years ago and I need to catch up! Glad you had a nice chat with your mum. I hope S feels better tomorrow, hopefully after a good night's sleep.

Enfys - you've had a lovely day, as well as getting on with your decluttering.

Oma - it will do you good to have a break from all that glossing, and I can imagine the effect of Storm brushing up against wet paint! Grandchildren are an endless topic of conversation, aren't they, and it's lovely that you share one of yours with your best friends.

I've just let Eva out into the garden and the smell of newly cut grass was gorgeous. I think several of our neighbours had been cutting their lawns as well.

Had a lovely roast lunch with DD and Sil, DS and Dil popped in and had a drink with us. My Dil loved my revamped kitchen and it was lovely to get the four of them together, doesn't happen that often. GGS still next door, I expect they will be going soon, he is very entertaining. I bought 2 Thomas and friends annuals at the hospital this week for him and his mother was reading to him. I do admire the way they are bringing him up, they are such good fun but very firm with him, he has quite a strong personality.

Very exciting to hear your DS's plans for their visit, won't be long now Enfys.

Good morning Nanto and all who come later.

I'm off to GD2's Year R assembly this morning - she's got an award and her daddy can't go, so mummy and I are going. Then bringing cooper back here for his Monday play date with Eva. Hope to be back later.

            Happy Monday everyone.

              Good morning everyone,
Nan2, that was our meal last night, plus Yorkshire puddings!
How nice to go to GD's assembly Daisy, especially as she is getting an award!

Free day for us so we will have a drive out somewhere.
              Have a good day all

                Good morning all.

Daisy I hope you enjoy the assembly.I’m sure you will.I went to a few when GC were in Primary school and they were lovely.Hope Cooper doesn’t want too many cuddles today.

Gem I wonder where you will go on your day out. Have a lovely time.

Nanto has inspired me to make a mince and onion pie for tonight so I must get going on that. Thought I might also make some chocolate brownies. Perhaps too indulgent though given the sugar content.Should really make something fruit based

                Have a good day all.

                  Good morning all.

Bright and sunny here, haven’t been outside yet so don’t know how cold it is. Have just put the slow cooker on full of mince, onions, peppers etc so that will be a few meals for the freezer.

DH wants to go for a walk this morning, a good sign, so that’s what we’re aiming to do. Have a good day everyone 🌞

Up late so not rushing to do anything other than bowls this afternoon. I am going to get in touch with my lovely decorator to fix a date for him to decorate my bedroom. The family have loaned me two wardrobes on wheels they bought when their boys were at university, they are used in the cabin, they are now in my spare bedroom waiting to be filled so I could start on filling them.

Daisy I used to love the GC assemblies, let us know what her award is. I am sure Eva and Cooper will enjoy their playdate.

Gemini, have a lovely drive out, wonder where you will finish up.

                    Enjoy your walk Enfys.

Morning all. Its just a quick reporting in as I am planning to do lots outside if the rain keeps off. I will drop in again later.

Just heard on the news that another shooting has taken place in Utrecht in the Netherlands. What is the world coming to

dont seem to be getting anywhere fast this morning. Been pottering around doing bits but don't seem like I've done anything.

Started off sunny this morning, but rained about ½ an hour ago.

Well I did make the Brownies.Going to have them warm with ice cream

Met at a lady on our walk I know slightly and when I commented on her limp she said she has been fighting sepsis and related problems for nearly 18 months. It all started with a small scratch on her finger when she was planting a rose on her mother’s grave. It sounded horrendous. Up to a year or so ago we’d barely heard of sepsis so thank goodness we are now more aware.

Hope your days are going to plan

                              Afternoon all.
While we are taking about lunch , we had chicken risotto used up the last of the mushrooms, chicken and tomato, love food hate waste isn’t that the saying?

We we have been busy outside. OH has mowed the two lawns and then we replanted the bamboo bush/ tree into yet another large container.
We replanted it last year but it quickly grew two big for the planter it was in. It was a hell of an effort to get it out of the one planter and into the other but after a lot of hefting and jeffing ( OH, not me, a lady at all times, that’s me ) we did it. It will now stay in the planter for a very long time as we can’t even move the dam thing now.
I then took the strawberry plants out of the grow house and reassembled the strawberry planter. Was extremely excited to see the first early potatoes have started to show . As our back garden is very sheltered and catches a lot of sun ( when it’s out ) we found that the growing season is a few weeks ahead than where we previously lived. The front and back of the house was over shadowed by othe houses and trees, we hardly saw any sun on our garden at all.

Plant what colour are you having the bedroom done, I have said next time we want decorating done we will get someone in to do it, doing the hall the other week almost saw the end of me !

Enfys did you enjoy joy your walk

Daisy I miss the little one’s assembly and nativly plays, out two youngest GC live too far away. Hope you enjoyed it

I think I will have a greyish lavender, it is a green blue ATM. I need to get some colour charts
Had a lovely game of bowls, I played well and it was almost a draw, one point difference.

Not heard he news today will will catch up later.
