Quick visit from me. OH has an early dental appointment. As it is on the same industrial estate as the carpet shop I am going with her, then to the carpet shop. Maybe coffee out on the way back

I am taking my mum to see her friend this afternoon. Doing Mums shopping on the way to get her. While mum is at her friends I will go to see my auntie, as she lives not far from there.
That's my day!

I've also got the dentist and hygienist this morning. I don't expect any problems, but you never know!

It's cold and frosty this morning, but it's supposed to warm up later. If so I'll do some gardening this afternoon - it will be good to get out and do something active.

Nana - thank you for the 'something easy'. I need encouragement to get started. I think having a small sketch book will be less intimidating than an A4 or A3 canvas to fill, so I'll have a go with a plant or flowers.

Daisy our garden needs leaves cleared I keep looking out of the window but cant muster the energy to do it , maybe the weekend ,

Been to buy new Tea towels again its a bit like Napkins a bit of a fetish hahaha , I also bought a hair dye ,

Went into Asda and I got a bargain , I always use Johnsonn's soft wash usually £1.65 a bottle they had it on offer for 83P so I bought 4 bottles

Morning ladies

It seems to be a day for the dentist We’ve just got back from our appointment.It’s silly but I still get nervous going.We both had to make another appointment.As G has to see the hygienist and me the dentist it proved difficult to find a suitable appointment as I have to go in with G and we wanted consecutive times .We finally managed to get one in April but there’s no urgency.

Gem I hope you find your Mum and Auntie in good form.

Nan2.take it easy in that pan cupboard Perhaps you wouldn’t mind sorting mine out while you’re in the mood.

Daisy.take the bull by the horns and get stuck in to the art project. I can’t talk though as I am an expert at procrastination An eclectic collection of purchases yesterday

All fine at the dentist for OH, just a check up.
We then went to Screwfix (I stayed in the car!) carpet shop, then to the tip. The car was full of cuttings from a large fuchsia bush OH had cut back for mum yesterday. We then went to my favourite coffee shop in the village, for tea and toasted teacake (to share, we haven't got our pensions yet )

Oma. my sister was good thanks. A blister she had on her heel was finally healing. It's hard to stop her scratching it! Mum has been OK, we take each day as it comes LOL.
Clover, the dentist is the one place I never feel nervous! Doctors and especially hospital, yes.

Golf for OH this afternoon, a lovely sunny day here for it.

Lots of hospital and dental visits, pleased nothing expensive had to be carried out.

Aqua for me this morning, got back just before 12 had lunch and spent an hour gardening, it is lovely outside, sunroom very warm but I was very good and told myself that is enough but it does look a lot better.

I bought myself some water colours, brushes and pad when I retired, amused my self for a time but they have been put aside, really need to go to a class I think.

My GD1's boyfriend has booked a hotel for the night, she doesn't know where. It has to be reasonably close because they both have to be at work for 5.30.

Afternoon ladies and happy Valentines Day 😀❤️ Today I treated myself to the hairdressers cut and coloured nothing out of the ordinary but feel better for that, nice Valentine’s tea tonight I hope might even light a candle or two , must pay that electric bill 😩
Twins were fine yesterday grandson got a star pupil award it’s getting embarrassing it’s nearly every week lol
I must have aged somewhat as I renewed my driving licence online and they won’t accept my photo , so tomorrow I have to go to the village for photos taking but I do need one to renew my bus pass anyway as does OH could be expensive 😱
Happy birthday to your valentine DS Oma, oooh and just seen it’s Enfys sils too

Just a quick ‘hello’ today.
I have been busy cleaning my windows and talking to the neighbours, all this nice weather has brought everyone outside. One neighbour was cutting his grass but it’s a bit early for that , we are still at risk for frost, after all it’s still winter, remember we had snow last March!

We’ve not done anything about Valentine’s Day but to all of you who are celebrating I hope you all have a lovely time.

I spoke too soon about my mum, I've had a rubbish time with her today , but more of that another time. I need to clear my head of it all for now. My time with auntie was very nice of course. I'm having the last of my rhubarb gin!
OH is watching her godson swimming, so I'm home alone getting tea ready.

I escaped unscathed from both the dentist and the hygienist - although my credit card felt the pain! I didn't know the hygienist 'scored' your teeth cleaning talents! Anything under a score of 15 is good, under 10 excellent. I scored 11.5 so not too bad!

Clover - what a pity you've got to see the dentist again so soon, I'm sure you could do without it. xx

Mimi - how lovely to have nice clean sparkling windows for this spell of good weather. I cut our lawn about 3 weeks ago and will do it again tomorrow or Saturday - it is growing.

We did about 3 hours in the garden this afternoon, cutting down a lovely climbing rose which had got too big and was weighing the fence down. I've given it a good dose of fish, blood and bone and mulched it to say 'sorry'. I hope it forgives me! We're going to prune the apple trees tomorrow and then I think we'll need a trip to the tip! Plant you were sensible to stop after an hour! Have you still got your paints etc?

It was lovely to get out in the garden, and was still light enough at 5.30. But I think I'll sleep well tonight. with all that fresh air and gardening.
