Gem that coat looks really warm , it got me thinking that my M and S winter coat is now over 10 years old . I don’t know what pleases me the most, the fact that it has kept its shape and overall condition well . The zip and buttons are still the original ones , it’s still as cosy as the day I brought it or, and I think this is the most pleasing, it still fits me !! It’s a Per Una and I remember buying it while on the way to work

We had a lovely day with the two GC yesterday afternoon, they wore me out I was in bed by half nine last night

Love it Gem I have a similar one mine is Grey it's lovely and warm , I bought mine a few years ago in BHS sale .
I know it's a lot of money but you will get years of wear out of it 😊

DH came home this afternoon. Very tired and sore but I’m sure he’ll feel better after a good nights sleep. That’s one more thing out of the way.

Enfys - I'm so pleased to hear P is home, and I hope he will be feeling a little less sore after a night in his own comfy bed. Did you bake cakes?

Gem - the coat looks lovely - really cosy for the winter. The link worked fine for me.

Mimi - I've got a couple of things about the same vintage, and I'm delighted I can still get into them. There are other equally old things though which have obviously shrunk over time!!

Plant - I think we had a new pump in our washing machine and touch wood it's been fine since. So hopefully your dishwasher is worth repairing. I hate having to throw away things like that just because it's uneconomical to repair them.

Nanto - well done on getting the grass cut - ours is still growing!

We had quite a productive day. I wafted the yellow cloth thingy round and pushed the sucky up thing round the living room while OH made some phone calls. Then we took Eva to the paddock. She has a really good run round and was very good. It was quite warm and really sunny - a beautiful morning. Then after lunch we went into town to look for new flooring for the bathroom and possibly our bedroom. We got back just as it got dark so fed Eva and got dinner then spent most of the evening nursing our poor trembling wreck of a doggy because of the fireworks.

Fireworks going off around us this evening, kitten wasn't very happy. Regarding the dishwasher, apparently our drains were blocked, SIL cleared it but didn't check the drain coming to my annexe, he will do that tomorrow, if that isn't the problem then I must decide what to do. It could be that the pump gave up because the drains were blocked. We shall see.

Same hear the Fireworks are still going off , Started about 4.30 Storm insisted on standing at the window to see them then running into the back garden to see if they were out there he had me dizzy and it was freezing having the door open all the time I was glad when DD came for him
Maybe as he was taken as a Pup to see them that's why they don't bother him now ,

Plant will you buy a new dish washer if yours cant be fixed ? I don't have one as we cant fit one in so im our Dish washer

Good Saturday morning everyone! It's not often I get here before anyone else, but the dog food order will arrive shortly and I don't want to be stacking the freezer in my PJs!!

I hope everyone's fireworks stopped, and pets settled down for a good sleep.

We've got nothing planned for today apart from a fairly long list of chores! But it's dry at the moment so I hope to escape to the garden and greenhouse. It's very sad, but I can't wait to try my new Karcher window cleaner on the greenhouse!

Lots of bangs around here last night too. Our hearing cat was in the kitchen staring at the cat door when I went in, maybe wanting to go out but thinking better of it.
We will be out tonight so will leave radios on upstairs and downstairs.

Sunny and chilly, but no frost here this morning. The neighbours came back yesterday, so no cold early morning trip out to feed their cat today!
We have some supermarket shopping to do, and a visit to my mum. There are a couple of small jobs OH is going to do for her, so she is coming too.
We are going round to friends tonight. I'm not sure if they are cooking or we are having a takeaway, I don't think they have decided!

Sunny here in Portugal going up to 21 degrees today! Yesterday, we sat by the pool reading and then walked the cliffs in Praia da Luz. More walking today I think and dinner at one of my favourite restaurants at Porto do Mos. Happy days ! 😎

There will be an invasion here later today as DD2 and family are calling in before they go to DD1s and then to The Big Beach Bang. This is run by Round Table and is always a good event.
Apart from that I will be trying plan 2 with the bags, so close your ears......

Gem that's the thing about feeding other peoples cats having to go out in the cold , when DD is away we do the morning feed and clean then other Granny does the putting to bed part , its ok in the summer mornings but this time of year its fresh when you go out

Daisy im sure the delivery man sees worse sights than you in your PJ's hahaha

Nanto enjoy the easy day do what you want for a change

Not much on today , ive been out and cleaned outside of patio door windows as there were big paw marks on them and I have washing in but apart from that nothing to do today so being lazy unless something turns up ,
