Mimi, the weather was lovely and warm earlier. Looking a bit dark now, rain is probably on its way.
Think you had a bit of an MOT at the doctors. Hope you get some relief from the migraines.

Just in time to say 'good night'. It's been a long, busy and very, very wet day. I was so hoping to cut the lawn again before we go away in the monring, but it's misty now so I doubt it will dry out! It will be like a jungle by Sunday when we get back.

I hope to be able to get online while we're away, but if I can't be good - all of you!!!

Raining,as usual. it started raining last night and its never stopped.
Whoever coined the phrase flaming June, certainly got it wrong.

Daisy, hope you enjoy your break, you deserve it.

Good morning, Nanto and all who pop in later.

It's not actually raining here - at the moment. But the skies are grey and heavy and it's a bit misty. The forecast for today isn't great, but from tomorrow onwards it's due to get a bit drier. Temperatures are likely to be 16 or 17, so definitely not flaming June, but I'll take the sun cream, just in case.

We're going to Charmouth - only about 1 1/2 away - but we like it there and hope to have a few days of doing nothing much. Bon voyage to Gem, if I don't get to speak to you before you go. Have a wonderful time - and enjoy the sun.

            We're back home on Sunday.

Good morning all, it’s been raining again but at the moment the sun is trying to break through the dark clouds. Dare I say it but this rain is a blessing in disguise... I know ...wait I can hear the boos from here...
My neighbour has gone away for the week and along with feeding her cats she has asked that I water the garden if needed. Now as I have a lot of pots, hanging baskets, flower boarders and even a small veg patch now to keep watered hers garden has almost as much in hers, I would be out there all day .
OH has offered to get the garden hose out but it’s a kerfuffle getting it around from the back of the flat down the side of the flat and to the front . Plus when he does it he soaks everything is sight, the patio, paths etc.
Usually by the middle of June we have gotten the bistro table and chairs out of the shed, cleaned and used it for eating our lunch outside, I am beginning to wonder if it will ever see the light of day.

Daisy have a lovely few days away

              Gem enjoy your holiday

              Have a good day everyone

A quick good morning. I haven't read back on here yet so I hope everyone is well.
                Wetter than ever here.
I am taking OH to an 8.30am physio session. Just on street parking and limited so I will drive and just hover.
Out with friends after that so I will catch up here this afternoon.
Have a lovely and we'll deserved break Daisy.
                See you later!

Mimi ,it’s an ill wind as they say so this rain is saving you watering all those pots. The sun can shine when your neighbours get back.

                    Have a happy day everyone.

BAck from OH's two monthly check up with consultant. All continuing to be well, those pesky neutrophils are back to normal again! He was saying that if this medication begins to lose it's effectiveness, there is now something new which we can try, which is good news as this stuff was the last resort when OH started it. So he carries on as normal, driving me mad at times, but at least it's being held at bay.

Funny old day here, muggy and grey and we've just had a torrential downpour. DS says it's in the 30s where he is! It would be nice just to have a few days of sunshine and warmth though!

Got the turf laid on the covered in ditch and the garden looks quite different now. Tomorrow, the fencer starts putting up a fence along the bottom of the garden which will add abit of security. When the Army camp was just along from our house, we always felt quite safe because the guards were on duty 24/7 and they could see anyone hanging around. Now they've gone, anyone could be hanging around and coming into the garden, so we're getting the fence up. Doggo won't be very happy when he sees it because he won't be able to escape through the hedge anymore and go walkabout!!

Hope those going off for a break have a great time.

Enfys, I used to do T'ai Chi and it is really enjoyable. Makes the brain work remembering the movements though! I'm now doing yoga and pilates, but I might think about going back to T'ai Chi in the Autumn. It certainly helps with things like balance and co-ordination.

WG Neutrophils can be a pain , B's wasn't good a couple of weeks ago after his cold , they up and down like a yoyo at times , always a worry then they right themselves

Back from taking MIL out for tea , we all had a lovely meal and a good laugh MIL got a bit tipsy , B picked her up at 4 and brought her to ours before we went out so she's been out the house a good few hours , makes a nice change for her ,
