To day would have been my Johns 75th birthday my wonderful husband was my anchor and the glue that held our family together.
He would have been chomping at the bit with the lockdown and being unable to go for his couple of beers with his pals and put the world to rights he was loved by everyone and never had a bad word to say about anyone.
It is a bitter sweet day as it is also the 2nd birthday of our GGS who was his Grandpa's best friend & his little soldier.
I am going to have a very quiet day myself and just reflect on things and raise a glass of his favourite Rioja in his memory.Keep Calm,You're Fabulous

Oh Glamma, a bitter sweet day, as you say.
I'm sure you will shed tears and have smiles at the memories of your dear husband today.
I hope it's no too long before you can cuddle that little boy and celebrate his birthday xxx“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Thanks so much ladies,I kept it together very well and was busy all day I planted a new Rose bush at the bottom of the garden as a wee present for my wonderful man my DGS then arrived and collected a play/sand table for the little man I left it on the bin store outside and waved to them from the front door little man has changed so much over the past few weeks from what I could see of him he has had all his curls cut and he looks a proper little boy. Then had a video call from DS1 and his baby girl she had made her Grandpa a cake in her pretend kitchen and passed me a virtual slice with a candle. xKeep Calm,You're Fabulous
