Thank you ladies , she was a very good mother sometimes slightly mad ,in fact nutty as a fruit cake at times but very tolerant and supportive we all loved her very much

I do Nanto , When I became pregnant with my DD at 16 she was shocked but said ,"love your not the first and wont be the last " and stood by us all the way I was so lucky to have her .

Oma, my Mum also passed away 25years ago and I think of her all the time. I can't believe it's been so long and feel sad that she didn't get to see our GC. She would have loved them so much.

Oma I so envy the close relationship you had with your Mum. I miss mine too,but she wasn't the maternal type sadly.

I was very lucky my mother was very maternal and loved all her children and grandchildren around her every day ,
My Father died when I was 15 so we were lucky to have her a little longer than him ,
Dad died 5th May 1972
Mam died 5th June 1992
She got to see all 12 of her grandchildren born and loved cuddling all of them and spoiling them
